Truck ran well. But look run down
Daniel R1. Check engine light was on the entire time we had the truck 2. Badly needs alignment. It pulls hard to the left. 3. Steering wheel had something sticky all over it had to get a washcloth and wipe it all down 4. When putting the truck into park, it doesn't always lock in so it says shift to park but it's already in park so you have to take it out of park and put back in gear or reverse or whatever and then push it real hard to go into park 5. Very, very rough ride

CHRISTIANA GI picked up in the middle of the night. The shop owner and his wife were very helpful in helping to navigate your app/website that didn't seem to want to work. Far more helpful than your actual employees on the virtual side.

Francesca AMy only complaint is we were given a truck with a flat tire (16 PSI). When I told the front desk they said its fine and they don't have a pump and gave me a phone number if the tire goes completely flat. Everything else went smooth.

MUSSADAQ mThere wasn't a problem with the location but throughout the entire rental process customer service was horrible. I had to wait over 30 minutes while the store rep was trying to clear the rental for pickup. Problem was with your system. After the pickup I have called 3 times to change the location for drop off but no one was able to help me since you were still having a problem with your system. I think you should go back to simple paperwork if you can't handle a server based digital forms.

MEGAN JAgain, not the location we requested. Truck was dirty at pick up. The truck is a gas hog despite all the signage claiming fuel efficiency. Overall not a great experience.
Ross TThe door seal on the driver's side door was falling down and needed to be repaired or replaced. We couldn't get it to stay up and eventually just let it fall to the cap floor.
David HMy comments are regarding your app to return the vehicle. Extremely poor functionality, which led me to go to multiple locations because the app thought I was returning the truck to the same location from which I rented it. Furthermore, I was quoted that mileage over the 300 mile limit would be billed at $0,4/mile, but I was invoiced at $1/mile. Extremely dissatisfied.
Gavin TDid the online check in and wasn't informed that I would be charged for not doing online check in which I wasn't aware of. I asked the team member if I had to do anything other than drop off the keys and he said that was it. Now I'm waiting an hour to speak to someone in regards to this, what a waste of my time.

Jon VPreston, the owner, was really helpful and supportive of all the questions I had. If you're in the McKinney area, I highly recommend his location, plus he also has storage buildings for all your stuff.

Austin CTerrible experience. The manager at the location I used was rude and very disorganized. He did not get the vehicle checked in until a day after I returned it, and when he finally called me to let me know the vehicle was checked in he tried to tell me that he gave it to me with a full of gas, which was not true the vehicle had 5/8 of a tank of gas when I left the lot. I took a photo of the dashboard and submitted it to U-Haul as required. Also the receipt he sent me had completely different mileage than the photos I took when I left with the vehicle and returned with the vehicle. When I saw this and knew it was incorrect I immediately called the location and my call was blocked. I called many times throughout the day and the phone would just ring and instantly hang up on me. Clearly the manager had blocked me and was refusing to talk with me. So I was overcharged with the mileage and I was not reimbursed for the extra gas. I was told to return the vehicle with 5/8 of a tank exactly but he advised me to put extra gas in and then I would be reimbursed for the extra gas. I was not reimbursed. Also due to the incorrect mileage being shown on the receipt I was not reimbursed for the extra miles I paid for. Had a very bad experience and I will never use U-Haul again
