Friendly staff. The van, however, was in poor condition: was not properly cleaned, did not follow COVID19 protocols, we found two Tim Hortons cups underneath the seats. It was not completely filled with gas, even though we had to deliver with the tank full (we delivered with the tank almost full with more gas than when we got it). No one checked the state of the van with us. Then we got a call saying something in the van was scratched, even though we have photos of the delivery. We didn't get proper instructions that there was a message we were supposed to look at before driving the van out. As far as we knew the message was just a confirmation that we signed out the van and not that there were pictures there that we needed approval. The attendant only told us that upon returning it and by that time the link was already expired - so we don't know what's in there. I am set to talk to the manager on Tuesday and will see how it goes from there. But from my client's perspective, I won't be coming back, and next time (if there is a next time) I will go to the big branch over SE Marine Drive and do it all in person. I knew something was weird when they asked us to pay cash for the dolly and the system did not mention we rented one.Pablo M.
Turned up and the Van was empty - got a call on Friday evening saying that it wasn't possible to pick up at scheduled time. Wasted my time to fill up and waiting on the shop owner to arrive. Very unprofessional.James T.

Uhaul booking service is very disappointing. We have booked a Uhaul truck two months ago for a wedding and end up requre to call different numbers, travel around and stressed out because the pick up location is closed. We have never received any imformation that the location is not available and the booking is confirmed. It was a very stressful and upset experience!!Wai Shun C.

So bad with the website and customer services, system give me wrong and very far away pick up location and when ask customer services with no solution and can not help at all, while it can be changed and there is an available van near my correct location. WASTE MY TIME AND MONEY FOR 50 dollars and 1 hour to make it back to normal. It is my 2nd time use uhaul, cant expect will have this bad experience!!!!!!!!!yixuan L.
It would be nice if they actually had the lockbox code ready on time when the pickup was prior to the store opening. The mobile pickup was scheduled for 9am, but after numerous problematic steps, a message on the app read that the pickup would be manually done when the store opened at 11am. 30 minutes on hold later, the problem was corrected by the agent working the UHaul customer service phone, who clearly sounded frustrated with the location staff.Jason B.

Attention!Attention!Attention! The location staff will only took the walk around, but he would not check the exterior roof or told you to do so. So you must do the inspection of exterior roof yourself(Yes, it is hard. To do so, you must stand on something). When you returned the van, some scrapes was found on the roof. Then U-HAUL will charge several hundred buckets for damage cost. It was my personal experience.Ke J.
The location itself was fine. The shop owner was really friendly and helpful. My complaint is that my reservation said I would have 24/7 pickup and then it didn't. When I got to the reservation 24/7 pickup page it said that I has to wait until the shop opened at 11am to get the keys (booking was for 9am). I saw this and called uhaul customer service asking to make sure that it made sense to go to the pickup location at 9 as I was going to be dropped off by a cab and didnt want to get stranded. I was told that once I was at the location, the website would know based on my GPS location, and the 24/7 pickup page would then work. When I arrived, the page still told me to wait until 11 am. The shop owner happened to open shop early so I was lucky to have him help me but I had to wait for help for half an hour and didn't get out until around 10 am. If the uhaul can't be picked up when the shop isn't open it shouldn't be reservable for outside store hours.Susan M.

Though the rental site was unusual, it was very convenient for us to be able to rent at this location. It was close to where we needed the van and it saved us money by not having to drive as far as we would have if renting from other locations. All in all it worked out well for our situation.Ken S.

I was supposed to pick up the key from the lockbox , got the code and the key was not there. Had to wait for the store to open and get the key. The furniture dolly that I paid for was not in the van and the dealer still charge me for it when I told him that it wasn't in the van . I had to do the move without equipment that I paid for :( He later charge me for the gas which I filled up and had photos as proof of gas level of before and after . Overall very bad experience, I was treated as if uhaul is the only rental company in this world and there is no need to care about customer service . I would to hewr how uhaul would take care of this very negative feedback/unacceptable customer experience .MIKE H.
