And the truck was dirty with what looked like dog hair all over everything. And I did not have my moving pads that I had payed for. Very disappointed in my experience.

KEVIN S.I had to sit at my first pick up location for 2 and a half hrs. Never got the truck. I had to call u haul cuatomer support 6 times. Nobody was friendly acted like i was bithering them. Then 1 worker told me juat to go somewhere else. I was very unhappy with my service. The guy at mefcor was really nice but that doesnt make up for the whole horrible day. I wont recommend at this point.

Dianna N.I called to let location know we would be after 8 Am for the pick up and was told that would be fine then when we arrive the location is closed for lunch so we had to wait. Then the location was not able to find the correct drop off location in Fishersville as one of the choices in the computer so that caused confusion.
Jill E.Online was completely wrong, no trucks of any size were available close by....had to travel 45 minutes to pick up a truck of 20 feet when I needed only a 15 footer. I was able to reserve this option at a local area but then was called at 1 pm the day before telling me they had no trucks what so ever in my city of Princeton. Simply put....if I reserve a truck at a pickup....I shouldn't have to make up the difference...get your own people to pick up the truck and correct your inventory.

Allison C.It would have been very convenient if we could have rented the trailer and transferred the trailer to another vehicle. Instead we had to rent two different trailers and transfer the contents of one into another, causing us twice the amount of work. I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult to add another vehicle & customer to a contract allowing this.
jeff W.When I went and picked up the uhaul, the truck was on empty. It took $30 to fill the truck up. When I returned the truck they wouldn't refund me the money back.

Morgan H.I had reserved a 9' van for a certain at a certain location. When I arrived (about 30 minutes away), I was informed that that van had been rented out earlier in the day and that my reservation didn't reach the dealer in time. He was very helpful and lined me up for another dealer, a little closer to my home. However, it was a 10' truck and not the van I had wanted/needed. Instead of $0,79 per mile, I ended up paying $0,99 per mile. The alternative was driving to Princeton, WV, about one hours away from my home to get a 9' van. This was unacceptable. You really need to improved you reservation system. Even when I got to the second location, he told me that the 10' truck was reserved and was supposed to go to Nashville that night. It all worked out, but I ended up paying more that I had anticipated to just move three pieces of furniture! In addition, the truck cab reeked of cigarette smoke and there were ashes in the driver's side door. We are not smokers. The passenger cup holder was "nasty", according to my wife. The dealer was nice enough, but disappointed in the reservation system!

clark C.I get there with the truck and dolly on Friday, 2 days before the truck is due back, only to find that the store was inexplicably closed until Monday. I was not the only one standing outside of the store trying to return equipment. Everyone was dumbfounded and angry as some were waiting for a refund of sorts. You can't just close a store for the weekend. Maybe they should hire some employees so they don't have to close for days at a time.
