I reserved a trailer and supplies (boxes, tape, etc) online. I was shocked to arrive at Mid Cities and find out that my supplies were reserved at a different location, Taylor automotive. I do not understand how your website set me up to go to 2 different locations. Mid Cities service was great, but Uhaul lost the sale of the boxes and supplies as, on principal, I stopped elsewhere to obtain the needed supplies.

Made a reservation, talked to a person on the phone, showed up to location to move in and the manager wasnt there, after calling multiple times, found out they were out of town till the next week.

Trailer was old, beat up, and dirty inside. The folks with whom I dealt in picking up the rental were friendly and helpful. They hooked things up and checked the lighting for functionality.

The trailer wheel well was bent towards tire only about an inch or so from touching tire. I pointed it out and they werent concerned. Trailer did make trip so I guess they were correct. Upon return, it was raining and I was told to just find a spot and drop the trailer. I asked for help and was told that it was not their responsibility to put on or take off trailers. The man did come out while I was disconnecting the trailer and started yelling at me about where I parked which was right beside a truck. This did not sit well and I barked back "you said anywhere".

The uhaul truck portion is great. the layout of the storage facility is near impassable for a inexperienced driver of a large truck, the turning angles are absurd, and getting to my unit was near impossible. Note this is only the physical facility. The managers were very helpful and helped manage the turns. I am a CDL driver and found this very challenging.

Everything about this "Mabank" TX location was a fiasco!!! Even the total rental cost for this 10 ft truck and tow dolly was more than the 20 ft truck and tow dolly I rented with an extra day in Seven Points, TX a month ago. There was no street address at the location which took me over half an hour to find. Even the post office did not know where they were located. The office person was totally unfamiliar with U-Haul's computer program and insisted on making manual computer entries that contained errors. It took her over an hour and a half to produce the contract paperwork instead of using the Master Order number information already entered when I made the reservation. Then she proceeded to highlight the first two pages in orange until I told her I don't need that, I'm capable of reading and understanding without highlighting everything. During the extended wait I asked to use the restroom and was told there isn't one and I'd have to find a service station or grocery with a restroom. The car tow dolly wheel straps were bound in the ratchet and took over an hour for the management help to untangle. When I turned it in upon arrival in Kenner, LA, the management said it was signed out in someone else's name - little to my surprise. These people need to be trained and proven to be proficient prior to establishing a U-Haul franchise.

Location stated it was a 24 hr drop off location. I tried to drop off at 10:30PM and the location was locked up. I had to call Shelby @ 1800 go UHaul to make sure if leaving the truck in the adjacent parking lot would be acceptable. Shelby was VERY helpful. When I tried to call Mid-cities the call was answered and then hung up. Twice.

The location is located on a street that is a one way during school hours, which makes it extremely difficult to navigate. Also the location has a very tiny entrance/exit, and the sign was also hard to find from the main road.

Not the one in Mabank, TX. Next time if we need one down there, we'll go to Budget, or something like that. They were not very nice. Lazy, inconsiderate people. Argued for almost 3 hrs. before we finally got a trailer to rent. Put us late getting back on the road, right in the middle of a bad snow storm. Worst experience that we shouldn't have had to do.
