Ty the office manager was very rude , not friendly apron walking in no welcoming, She was very nasty when I asked her if she could find me the nearest drop off location This persons has very bad customer service she shouldn't be there at all if she does not like her job apparently

Ty and Joe are THE absolute BEST!!!! I have storage at this facility and rent a van regularly to move things back and forth to my home. They are 10 stars out of 5 for customer service. They maintain the facility in superb conditions. They are responsive, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend this facility based on their personal and professional service.

robert S.I rented a trailer online and paid online. My daughters boyfriend went to pick it up. He said he saw no one there and called 3 times and no one answered, so he hooked up the trailer and drove off. He thought this was fine because all wall booked online with my account and I paid with my credit card. Shortly afterwards, my doorbell rings and 2 police are outside my house saying that Midgard reported a stolen trailer. I explained that it was not stolen, I had booked and paid online. They said that Midgard was upset he did not come in and fill out paperwork. I told the police I would come over with him as soon as I could contact him. I went over to Midgard and spoke with a really rude women. She called my daughters boyfriend...and I quote..."A fucking idiot". I am not used to being treated this way. She was very unpleasant and told me she would, "make us pay" for her bother. We apologized and filled out the paperwork. My daughters boyfriend is a former police officer, and said this women was completely out of line but he did not want to escalate the situation. The next day he returned the trailer, clean and in good condition. Imagine my surprise when I got the bill by email and saw they charged me a $75 cleaning charge in addition to the rental fee. I called and disputed the charge and they said that some packing blankets were not folded. We did not even rent packing blankets, there were some in the corner of the trailer that we didn't have anything to do with. I think the $75 charge was just to "punish" us for the episode the day before. It was a fraudulent charge and so I called your main office to dispute it. I explained the situation and have case #3701762. I was told I would be contacted in no more than 3 days. Well, its been a week and haven't heard back from UHaul. I told your main office I would dispute charge with my credit company but they told me to hold off until you responded. I don't want to wait any longer, so I will dispute the fraudulent charge today. Additionally, my daughter forgot her brand new pair of Tom Ford sunglasses in the trailer. We went over there immediately and were told they were not there. We even checked the trailer and they were not there. No one had rented that trailer between the time we dropped it off and the time we went back looking for the sunglasses. Obviously, someone at the Midgard office took them. In summary, I was very unhappy with Midgard Self Storage Uhaul location. The staff was not available to check out trailer, called police on me and accused me of theft, was rude and actually swore at us while in the office, filed a fraudulent charge on my credit card and stole my daughters sunglasses. I am a senior citizen and am not used to having a counter clerk swear at me. Unacceptable. Please resolve this. Refund me the $75 immediately. Christine Rayner

Michael W.I'm going to be honest. I don't normally associate uHaul with good service. However the location off of Pineda in Melbourne, Florida was great. I'd give them 10 out of 10. They gave me good advice and made sure I got the right vehicle (the one I reserved was too small). I hope this is a trend.

Chris L.Absolutely terrible experience. When I went there was nobody there and the door was locked even though it was clearly within their open hours. After 20 minutes of calling the company they finally answered and had someone drive out to help me. After a 2 hour delay I was finally able to get the truck. After I returned the vehicle they charged me for $300 more miles than I actually drove. Absolutely terrible experience and will never rent again from this scam of a company.
Christopher C.This isn't a bad review on the site itself but on U-Haul as an entity. I reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance, two days before pick up, I get a text to move to a different location. Night before pickup I get another text that it has been moved again. 20 miles away from where I live. That's now 40 miles that I have to pay for due to lack of availability on your part? Three weeks wasn't enough time to book a truck? There should be a 40 dollar minimum refund to compensate. I'm not even discussing the extra hour to your facility each way.
John A.I was overchanged fro Gas. I filled up to where I needed but checkout was still tryign to charge me for gas. Fortunetly it was corrected on final billing. But did not like that I had to catch that error. your customers could easily be overcharged.

I needed to purchase another hookup for the auto transport and our RAM truck, and was given a receipt for someone else, not for my $34,05 purchase of the equipment. THOMAS C.26' Truck was given to us at 20 000 miles with a check engine light. It was driven to our unit by Ty so we didn't notice the check engine light until we were fully loaded and started to leave. Joe said we could go to a uhall dealer at the A1A location, but we should be ok to drive back to Jacksonville. Ty and Joe are excellent representatives of the U-Haul brand. The 20 foot truck we ordered was not returned so they gave us a 26 foot. I think they should've checked the truck before we started loading it.

JEFFREY S.This is a SELF SERVE location, Location has short schedule of hours open. It is not illuminated at dark so you cannot see well. I could not find the drop box for the after hours key drop, so I had to return the next day while they were open which messed up my plans for the next day. There is not adequate space to park trucks that you are dropping off . There is only ONE parking spot for a 26 ft big truck. This location is not for people who are moving , it is for people who want to store RV's and boats.

I hauled boxes and furniture in the trailer and nothing was dirty so I don't understand why I was charged for cleaning. I would at least like an explanation for why I was charged.

GLADYS G.Well I went in the day before to rent a motorcycle trailer but my friend whos truck i was using didnt think to look if they had the ball in the hitch ,my fault, and I was on borrowed time as it was, anyways so I was informed the nexted morning I could take my bike in by the end of that day and they would fit me in, so I called tried to rent the motorcycle trailer, but it was all ready rented out till Monday and apparently so was every other truck and trailer except for the biggest and most expensive truck that you guys have without having to have a class C license to drive it plus 99 cents a mile, so basically it cost me almost $85 to tow my motorcycle not even 10 miles. So IDK if your employees work on commission? and I was just taking for a ride, or you all need to stock up your places of business with more the one of the same vehicles and trailers. I always used u haul in the past and recommended you to people I know but now if I have to use a moving truck or trailer in the future IDK if I would automatically use U haul, honestly. sorry I just thought or felt like I was taking for a ride by your employee, sincerely, Camron Palmer

DANIEL B.The truck has a faulty gas reader. I tried to fill up back to 3/4 as I got it, however the reader did not work. It would not go back to 3/4. Before I knew it I had filled the gas tank all the way to full. It looks like it got temporarily stuck below 3/4 then jump all the way to full. I put about $15 more gas than I should have because of the faulty fuel reader.
