I was asked to pick up my reserved truck one day early by this location's contact at no extra charge, then was charged for the extra day. I spent almost an hour on the phone over 2 phone calls, and then had to file a dispute. It took several days to resolve and have my account credited and was a huge headache. Reluctant to use Uhaul again if another option is available.

Please clean the inside of the vehicle and let the cab air out when it smells like cigarette smoke. I had to sweep the dirt and ashes out of the cab and leave the windows cracked during my 9-hour drive, and the smell still affected me. I appreciated that the employee warned me about it and asked if it was okay, but by then U-Haul had jerked me around to multiple locations until I was 2 hours late for my movers, so what was I going to say? Also, it would be so nice if the gas tank was filled up at least halfway. It's really inconsiderate to make getting gas the first thing people do. Finally, I needed a dolly but there wasn't one available at the location. They took it off my bill, but I would have been in huge trouble if my movers didn't bring one.

When I made the reservation I picked the drop off location at 1037 Elmwood Street in Columbia, SC. When I took the truck there, they would take it and that really pissed me off. I should have been able to drop that truck there, even if y'all changes my reservation. The guy there would'nt even get off the phone! The people at Midland Personal Communication Services were polite and professional!

I asked when this place closed and was told 6. I got there after putting $10 worth of gas for using the 19,99 van to go 12 miles. I received my receipt for $70! I tried to call office to ask why it was so high, but no answer. I called U-Haul, but after holding for 30 minutes, I had to hang up. Wonder if this will get resolved? Scary place, nothing like UHaul offices I have been to previously. Major disappointment.

There were ants all over the floorboards of the vehicle. The midlands communications team was great, however my reservation was made for a location on two notch. When I arrived at the two notch location, they told me despite my confirmation being at their location, I had to drive to belt line to get the van and register there. Thankfully it's 5-10 min away, but the reservation system needs some help.

Pick up was a nightmare-Location for pick up was changed the night before, so we had to drive 30 minutes away, Person did not even know we were coming to pick up the truck, he did not have a dolly, so we had to go to 2 different locations to get a dolly, we were supposed to pick up truck at 8:30 am, by the time we finally got everything we were 2 hours behind. Will never use U-haul again!!

24/7 App didn't work so i had to get the truck directly from the agent. They gave me the wrong truck, which made it difficult to return the truck on the other end. I reserved a 10 foot truck, was told that I would receive a 15 foot truck instead, and then they gave me a 20 foot truck by mistake.

The lady over the counter keep talking to what appeared to be her friend about how to train her dog for almost 10 minutes while I and two other customers are waiting. I booked the rental 1 day ahead. If I was not in a time constrain of my travel/moving, I would have canceled right away already.

STOP with the false advertisements!!! The location had my reservation for a week and when I got there the equipment I requested was NOT there! He wanted me to run all over town to look for what I needed!!

This was not our original pick up location. After confirming and checking in with a different location on twonotch they removed our paid reservation which the call center (Daisy) help us get one here at this location. It was quite upsetting that the other location removed our paid confirm reservation suddenly over night. Plus no one answers to help resolve this matter at the original pick up location.

I was over charged by uhaul for going over the mileage limit. However, I only went over because they changed my pickup location an hour before I had to pick up the uhaul, but did not increase my mileage.
