This location is not novice friendly in my opinion. The attendant needs to clearly state that I had to use the app on site at the location. It was not clear to me that was a requirement. I may have missed it but now where is it clearly stated that this was a requirement. I would like to be contacted directly about this issue. This almost cost me an extra day fee because in my experience it is not boldly indicated that this had to be done at the location only.

The person who waited on me was very rude. One of the straps on the auto hauler was broken when I put the car on it. I was quite disappointed with this Uhaul experience.

This location is 100 % gated with no drop off points. Had to make an appt for someone to unlock a gate, then sent down the road to a wrecker storage site to park the the trailer inside a compound. The employee did unhook the trailer however would not check in the trailer. We had to return it online after we were told to pull out of the lot. The trailer however performed flawlessly.

I was charged close to $500 dollars. The rental was supposed to be a flat 240 they add another 150 without an explanation! Just a bill took out of my account!!!

I used the truck for 45 minutes. I drove 8 miles on it. Right before turning it in I put just under 2 gallons (1,75 to be exact) at a gas station right next to the location. They still charged my for fuel. Seems like someone is either running a scam or the gas guage is not working. Its only 7 bucks but still... unless your truck gets 2 miles to the gallon there is no way that charge is valid.

A poor location at night due to no lighting I changed the Pick up time from 7:00 to 9:00 AM because I wanted to have a ONE TIME hired driver get registered and I wasn't sure how to do it correctly online using the App. When I arrived the unfriendly lady told me that she would not do it because I had failed to cancel the 24/7 . I told her that other locations are happy to help if it is during business hours - my 2-day rental of a 20 foot truck from Shield's Auto in Vero Beach, they were extremely helpful and did it for me even though I had elected 24/7 It took me 25 EXTRA minutes to get the truck and another 20 minutes with Customer service today to fix my account that put the one-time hired driver as the owner of the account.

Person providing the check in rental service very unfriendly both at check in and check out. Property is a mess and UHaul is not their priority. Gate is closed to get to check in. You have to go to another gate to get the trailer. Honestly, I would have driven by this location if I had not used GPS. Not much indicating its a business renting Uhaul's. Person hooking up the trailer was upset about work and vented. The trailer was angled such it was say at 45 degrees pointing into another vehcile. He told me to back up and I indicated I could not do it with out hitting the vehicle. He gets all cranky saying he would move the trailer (I do not read minds). Returning the trailer - person at check in (same person) very unfriendly. Unhooking, the 2 people were friendlier. Exterior of trailer was moderately clean, interior was clean.

The service I received was excellent. The problem was the truck itself. The truck smelled like stale cigarettes and sweat, and the brakes failed on me four times, which could have been catastrophic.

Woman checking me out not friendly & provided limited information. I had to call your National phone # to confirm the trailer was turned in. The next day I got an email confirming the trailer was returned.

Have someone who is at least cordial and not an attitude of rudeness. It's probably a stressful job, but when you have to interact with others, at least try and be 1/2 pleasant . Also, the phone number for UHAUL at this particular location doesn't work. Upon mentioning that, i was told abruptly and rudely to call UHAUL, because it hasn't worked for over 2 years. Maybe a change of scenery or personnel's perspective might help your business at this particular location. I have rented many times over the years and truthfully, this was the worst experience I've ever had in all my 15 years of renting from UHAUL. I will definitely NOT rent nor drop off at this location in the future.

This was Mike's garage,,Vero Beach,,the lady doing the renting was very informative and nice,,the man hooking up the trailer was efficient and had a great sence of humor,,I would recommend this place,,tell them "Hippy" sent you 👍✌️

It's on a secluded road no real signage until you see a small # of Uhuals so you pull in only to get told (not friendly) to go 3 gates down the road to some unmarked gate absolutely no signage looks like a junk yard which was locked so we went back to the other drop off again lugging a trailer and was told someone would be there in a min, again not nice. Drove back to the junk yard and at least this time he was there and he was pleasant and nice. It was difficult.

I really had a mixed experience. The location isn't the greatest to get in and out as it's not clearly marked and the business is used for other things. They checked me in and out efficiently so no complaints there. On the return, the gentleman who checked me in was irritated that I drove into the parking area instead of the side of the road and seemed inconvenienced during the whole transaction. There was heavy traffic and the side of the road had a large hole filled with water in front of the gate so I drove through the gate where there were other trailers also. The gentlemen had me maneuver out of the parking lot to park the trailer where I picked up in another lot down the street that stays locked. The right thing to do would have been to disconnect the trailer where it was and for them to put it wherever they needed. Instead, I had to do a series of trailer gymnastics and back and forth to get out of there. A few of the employees coming into work assisted me so I could squeeze out. The people that connected and disconnected were pleasant. Otherwise, the location is convenient for me, they had what I needed so I would give them another try.

The lady was the worst that I have ever dealt with. I drove into the location. She said I had to go back down the street to the third gate. Busy street. No place to turn around. She said that wasn't her problem I should have checked it out before I drove in. Just rude, rude, rude. They are really doing a disservice to Uhaul.

The U HAUL App is very difficult to maneuver. Also, it takes way too much time to process picking up and drop off. What if I had run out of batteries. Terrible process.

My original reservation was for Pick Up Location: Tire Works & More 2626 US Hwy 1 Vero Beach, FL 32960 Date & Time: Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 9:00 AM I arrived early, around 8:30. Google Maps indicated they opened at 8am. No one there, so I went to a coffee shop till 9. Returned at 9, no one there. 9:15 I called the shop number and got no answer. I then called UHaul and had to wait ten minutes to get a rep, who then had to transfer me to someone else. I was told the original pickup site would open around 1030, and rebooked for pickup at Mikes Garage. The site that advertised a 0900 pickup was entirely disrespectful of my time and business. I get it that a trailer isn't a big dollar rental, but I assure you I won't be going to Tire Works for anything. It doesn't reflect well on UHaul to have such shoddy franchisees. The pickup and return at Mike's Garage were good. Customer service was good. Because they're also an impound lot, customers conduct transactions at an outside window and it doesn't feel all that welcoming, but the rep behind the window and the tech who helped hook up the trailer were both very good.

The person who owns this business is a racist man who yelled at me and treated really bad because I am a Latino,I don’t even know why I-Haul is doing business with them when they have so many bad reviews on Google and Yelp.I have never been judge in this country for the color of my skin until I decided to rent a U-Haul truck from this location.

The lady behind the bullet proof glass is outright nasty , I came to the window and she gave me direction where to go and said there was going to someone waiting to receive the rental , after about 15 minutes I walked back to make sure I was at the right place and she gave me an attitude and said I needed to be patient because someone had to walk to open the gate ; keep in mind I walked the same distance back from the lot to the office and back to the gate if the lot and waited about 5 minutes for a gentleman to open the gate , the gentleman was very helpful by the way . I found this lady's temper tantrum totally uncalled for , she should definitely not be representing Uhaul or in any costumer facing job. She should be dealing in inmates in a prision somewhere totally isolated , she has no people skills . j

The location was fine. My comment is regarding Uhaul in general. Uhaul needs to improve on knowing what equipment is actually available at each location. I was sent on a wild goose chase to locate my truck and was sent to a location that didn't have any trucks available and eventually had to drive 30 minutes out of the way and was still charged regular rates and mileage. Unfortunately we were moving in the rain and my truck's roof leaked and several of my boxes were soaked including my leather sofa. Not very happy with Uhaul right now.

Booked in Port Saint Lucie ended up driving an extra 21 miles to pick up and drop off in Vero Beach. Of course was subsequently charged for the additional mileage. What should have been a 20mile charge ended up being a 67 mile charge. Completely unexceptable!

We drop the rental off on a day the business was closed but we got a prompted receipt from them on Monday morning. So very happy with the drop off location. The only thing I would change is adding some kind of markings as to where to park the vans because a guy that lived next to the parking area came out and yelled at us because he said he has a hard time getting out of his driveway even though we won't block him. I think he just needed to blow off steam and I was a likely target. Also another couple came in while we were there and they were confused as to where to park.

Remove mike's garage from being an authorized u-haul location. They're rude and absolutely disrespectful when dealing with customers. They towed my U-haul and had outdated reservation information which cause severe delays to my moving plans. All they wanted was U-haul to pay them for a tow and impound fee, even after being shown they had bad information.

Truck engine sounded aweful like needed maintenance, no pickup on ramp to 95, receptionist rude and no direction on where to park for return only said to drop key in drop box by 4:30 on saturday.

Rented a "turn key " Ubox. Door to door guaranteed? Turns out they job out pick up and delivery to your location however, the delivery company turned out to be some Junk hauler who delayed delivery then cancelled all together. Called Uhaul and was tolt to find our own deliverer that would refuse to recomenD anyone! We had to rent a truck and drive 28 miles and unload the Ubox at their lot to our rented truck then unload it at our home. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T EVEN ...!

Wash out and wipe down everything including the steering wheel, dashboard, doors, and seats. The cab of the truck just felt grungy but appeared clean. Also had a stale cigarette smell. Truck shimmed a bit too.

This location is the worst I've ever dealt with. The trucks are dirty and the clerk is the rudest and most unhelpful person you could ever encounter. I will never rent from this location again.
