App was horrible. If it was not for the incredible person working in the oil shop we would have never got the truck. It would not let me in the app, then when I finally got in it said the truck was cancelled. I was an hour late because of the problems with the app. The owner even tried then gave up and did it on his computer.

Could not get my online reservation to work at the Milford Oil Change. They had to put in a new reservation and ended up with the wrong hours, 6, when I originally had a 24 hr rental. The next morning when I went to use the trailer I checked the tire pressure. Three were 50-55psi, spec is 65psi cold. The fourth was at 5psi...glad I checked! The tread on this tire was also past the wear indicators. Brakes seemed questionable when trailer was unloaded. I should not have to even think about these things when I pick up a rental trailer. Glad the tire didn't blow because I'm sure I'd have to take the blame.

The rental equipment was dirty. It would be good if u-haul could provide basic training to the attendants so they would be able to provide better assistance to the customers. Next time, I will pick u-haul equipment from a u-haul location which I have done previously and my experience has been much better.

The system for confirming identity that involves calling a person or a passport needs to be better explained before it takes place so that people can be prepared. I tried multiple contacts who did not pick up the call initially because it was unexpected and was thought to be a spam phone call. It's honestly not a great system and needs to be reconsidered.

I was charged $8 for insurance that I did not want or need. On my original order I unselected the $8 insurance but was charged the $8 when I picked up the trailer.
