I rented a 10' truck and used it for less than 3 hours and I look at my receipt it says I had it for two days. I put 60 miles and on the receipt it says 67. I was charged $200 dollars for something I should have paid $60 for! It was charged to my card and that was money I had put aside to get my car fixed. I am a single mother of 3 active duty military now I was to worry about putting money elsewhere to get to work because of someone else's mistake. I am not pleased at all.

Maybe I should have called the day before, but my reservation was for a 9:00 pickup. The person there was not clear on the process. She was able to quickly call and verify my pickup. The truck had the remnants of a meal in the cab and the cargo area was not swept out. Based on my other pickups, I was expecting a checkout and some paperwork to sign. I can't complain too much about "here's the key" and I'm on my way. My expectation for picking up the truck was different than what occurred. I expected some type of checkout beyond just giving me the key, but I was OK with that. I did expect that the truck would have been at least swept out and the trash removed. It was more of an annoyance, but I expected a little better. My overall experience was OK. I got the vehicle fairly quickly, after getting the telephone OK. I was able to quickly orient myself with the truck and get on my way.
The service was not bad, however when I reviewed the contract when returning the uhual I advised the cashier that I did not agree to the additional 14.00 for the safe move he advised me not to worry about it and it wouldn't be charged. I just reviewed the receipt and wanted to know what happened? Will I get a refund of the 14.00 and why was I advised I would not get charged?
Awful pickup experience, person not knowledgeable about how to rent truck took over 45 minutes and I had to talk to customer service myself
The customer service was poor.
