I was not pleased that I was charged a $20 "convenience" fee for checking the truck in. Your locations have to check the vehicle in anyway. U-haul technology is really lacking.

Online pick up is a nightmare! What could have taken us 20 minutes with an actual person....Took us at least an hour on line. We will never. And the drop off was not much better. We will never rent like this again

Try being more up front when explaining the rental contract. Slow down and make sure that the customer understands the charges and be concise when explaining returning vehicles after hours. The person at counter just rushed through everything and he acted like he was disturbed by my wanting to rent a truck. I will never use this company or U-Haul again. I will tell everyone how bad this company is and not to use their services. Plus this encounter left me with a negative impression of U-Haul.

Don’t forget to give them what they ordered. I ordered a mattress cover from uhaul and no one put it in the truck. I couldn’t go inside and buy one because they were closed.

I spoke to two different people to confirm my reservation. When I arrived, no one was there. After 2 extremely frustrating hours and a long conversation with the regional manager (who was trying very hard to help) I was finally able to get my U-Haul. This was only because one of the guys who works there load up his babies on a cold rainy day and came in on his day off to help me. Big shout out to him for going above the call of duty!

The check-in process and billing is a problem. I tried twice to use the electronic check-in and was never able to successfully check in. when I checked with the local agent they said they could not refund money and I would have to talk to the district manager. I have yet to hear from him.

I would only recommend them if they can pick up and return during regular business hours. If you return something after hours and use U Hauls website to check it in . The website is very hard to use .When talking to Millers they said some people can`t get the website to work and others have no problem.

Beginning mileage on the vehicle was incorrect. There was no recourse for this on the app for on line rental. This caused a drawn out refund process that took 9 days to complete.

This location is generally very good. This time, I reserved on line and entered all the information expecting check in time to be greatly reduced. Their computer was reacting slow and we went through most of the information that I had previously entered. Total time from arrival to departure was about 20 minutes. I question the value of on line pre-check in.

Rear tire had a slow leak was not checked.I also returned trailer on the same day but had to pay for 2 days, the rep at the drop off point said I should be refunded for the 2nd day.

Make the app easier to use and be able to fill out the paper work and make sure the key is in the right locker for the truck and have some one there to help you get every thing you need so you don't have a customer like myself wait there for 4 hours from 8am to 12 in the afternoon it was Ridiculous. I had to exchange trucks but before that I waited nearly 30 minutes on the phone getting transferred to trafficking. The truck was not filled with gas only halfway and the back had garbage wrappers and Crumbs of food on the floor. This was never a problem for me and my family before when we rented a U Haul. -Very disappointed

Remove the cart and blankets from the box. They are inconveniently placed, in the way, a trip hazard, and take up space that I pay to use. Otherwise, a really great experience.

There wasn't a question asking how my overall experience was using U-haul. I had some severe issues with day-of picking up the rental. Everything in regards to renting the u-haul ahead of time on-line was wonderful, but the issues began on the day of the rental. In short, it was an in town rental for four hours, 9am-1pm. When I arrived and went through the online process of retrieving the keys, I then ran into issues. It took 45 minutes of talking to two different online technicians and calling (of which I was on hold for over ten minutes) to finally be "approved" to get the key access code. I did not actually get the truck until close to ten and was still expected to return it by 1pm, so instead of fours hours I only had three hours of rental. Then a couple of days ago when I get the charges I noticed it was more than double what was agreed upon. I did not realize that part of the rental was both four hours of use but also just five (5) miles of travel. The total travel was over 30 miles, and I understand that there are charges per mile after speaking with someone. I simply did not know that ahead of time. I decided on u-haul because it had competitive prices compared to local rentals, but given the experience of not being able to pick up the rental on time and not clearly explained extra fees I'm not sure I could refer u-haul to a friend for similar needs. I have used u-haul before for longer, bigger rentals, but it was frustrating the experience of having it only for three of the fours hours and then to be charged double what I had expected to pay.

The truck exterior was dirty but I just took pictures for proof. My iPhone was recognized at online after-hours pickup. I don’t use Safari. I use Chrome. Therefore, I was unable to take photos. I was glad my ride was there so I could use their cell phone! I couldn’t find a way to charge my phone so I was glad I had my wall charger in case I would have had to stop somewhere to charge it. Thankfully, I didn’t have any problems!

Online check in is terrible kept to take the same pictures over and over again when finally finish got code to get key and had wrong key in box had use find and use different truck. Then call customer service to get straighten out after being on hold for over 1 hour just said screw it and left with truck I had keys for. Will never rent from uhaul again
