Don’t send them out in unsafe equipment

My husband chose to drop off at that location because he wanted to see motorcycles and meet a mechanic because he has his own motorcycle. We dropped off while they were closed so he didn't get to chit chat with anyone but we were not disappointed. He's got some pretty cool old cars parked in the lot. My son had a blast looking at them all while we parked the truck and situated the keys in the drop box.

If Uhaul allows their service representatives to conduct business like this location did, then i most definitely would not recommend Uhaul to anyone i know. On the contrary, i would implore them to find a different company if at all possible. The level of service was way below any standard and I'm not sure if this has to do with the amount of business Uhaul might have or the location i was stationed in(country side, small town environment) but if Uhaul allows there customers to be treated this way and have nothing to say in regard to this representation then i will definitely not be a returning customer at minimum. The employee seemed as if he went to find the worse equipment available simply to take advantage I waived the insurance coverage offered by Uhaul. MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK ALL EQUIPMENT AS THEY MIGHT TRY TO HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE IF ANYTHING BREAKS. Just make sure you take care of yourself as they definitely won't.

This location was 30 mins away from where I was and there were multiple locations to drop off the truck in Troy, AL.

Shop was dirty covered in bike parts could not walk anywhere the owner told me I was lucky to rent from him because I was 30 minutes late when I told them my reservation was between 12 and 3 and this happened around 1 p.m. then then the car hauler that I rented had bad tires and could not go over 40 miles an hour without it swerving all over the road doubling my time and gas money to get home

The owner is a nice guy but the location is almost an actual dump and if I hadn’t had my reservation changed on me by u-haul I would have never used that one.

Returned unit the same day, 11/19/19, and received notification today,11/20/19 that unit had not been returned

Nothing. They were closed and it was a drop off. Lighting in dro off was poor.

The reservation process is trash. I originally order a 26' and it wasn't available. I had to go to a 20'

The shop/office is a mess. There was barely a walkway. I was aggrandizing if being bit by something. Very poor atmosphere.

I dropped off the trailer after hours. This is due to the extended time it took for me to pick up unit at UHaul's choice instead of mine. After hours drop off is the only reason I rated this business as "Average".

Truck suspension was not good. Too loose. Pick up area did not ask to check vehicle or mileage prior to leaving.

I think some extra signage were could be easier seen from distance I got kalahasti double back twice and other than that the people are great.

Just a drop-off. No interaction with the man who runs it. The place is scraggly, overgrown and packed with auto and motorcycle parts. Functional, yes, but not inviting at all.

My experience was not with the owner of the business i picked it up at it was with uhaul phone service and booking the trailer .. I was placed on hold 11 times hung up on 3 times and passed from one center to the next .. I finely got a district manager who absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of... I would like someone to call me concerning this my number is 209 872 9666 names william keup

Please let the customer know where the truck and any other equipment they've rented will be located. Had a difficult time trying to find the truck.

Got a suprise phone call requesting the trailer during my move and had to pay for additional days. During that move I got a 26' pensky truck for double the price but also from the 2nd - 11th ($475) and u-haul charge me, for a trailer ($221) for 3 day when I had no prior drop off date specification. There are great reasons why no military ever uses u-haul

No one was there and they had a sign that said out to lunch. I dropped the trailer off and went back in an hour and they wasn't back so I waited for 2 1/2 hours and they hadn't got back so my wife called the uhaul company to find out what to do. They should have a phone number where someone could be reached at all time.

This man had beer bottles everywhere, piles of tools very messy and dirty. Impossible to get a person on the phone. I will never use him again

It took me about two hours to rent a trailer. It should have been a five minute job, but the guy has such an old computer he could not make the uhaul program work. He literally tried over an hour then restarted his computer, it was a nightmare. I had people waiting for me at the pick up point, they had to leave before I got the trailer completely packed. It was a terrible experience and the man there should not be allowed to be a uhaul representative. Finally after an hour and a half he called the uhaul number and we rented / paid it over the phone. I did not even get a receipt. Then he made me buy a used receiver. Unacceptable. I was so upset I was crying after an hour. Begging him to call uhaul or please tell me somewhere in the area to rent the trailer without having to wait forever. As we were driving to the pick up point I saw a uhaul dealer about a mile away. They had a trailer the size I needed parked in their lot. Do not ever try to rent from Millers. I give his business a negative 1, a rating of a zero is too high for that place.

Miller Custom was huge help!!! We called, he had the equipment, we got there. He also greeted us at the front door. Very nice guy. I recommend to all my friends! Thanks Miller Customs.

We had reserved a 5x8 one week in advance...got there and they had no trailer..something about regional manager was suppose go get in touch with me...they had to call and find me another trailer at a different location. I was on a tight schedule but they didn't even apologize!
