When I got there, the place opened about 15 minutes late. Once I got my truck, I found that it had about a 1/4 tank of gas. I had hired movers who were waiting for me, so I did not have time to get gas. I had to use a gas can after I got home so we could make it to the new house. Then to top it all off, the items I had ordered online were not available. I don't know why they even ask, then! Or why they use a location like this, that can't fill up the gas tanks! I have used Uhaul many times, and I am grateful they exist, but this was my worst experience by far.

Jeffrey LThis was bullshit. When scheduling the pickup, whatis the point of picking a pickup location when the item is not there and I have to go ACROSS TOWN and 2 hours later to get it??? This is twice now. Then when I get to the location there's no pads nor dolly, I have to go to ANOTHER LOCATION to get them. And when I get there, I'm told they can not rent just the pads! What the actual fuck???? This was fucking unacceptable. I'm so pissed. I don't think I'll ever use uhaul again to be honest as this was nothing but a pain in the ass.

Jorge PCustomer service was lacking but at the end of the day, I got what I needed. The only thing that really annoyed me was attempting to call the location but not getting through and having to go there in person to ask a question. Luckily, the trip wasn't wasted.

Noel BOnly thing that I thought was unacceptable was the receipt at the end of the transactions they were so small I couldn't even read them it would be nice if I could get an email of my last two rentals in a floor mat which I am able to read

Chantal TWe should start up by giving me a credit or a partial refund for my truck purchase rental due to the fact that when we arrived at the location to rent a truck the directions and the location of the office was inaccurate the parking lot is on the North end of the block of 2nd Street and Washington yet the office is on 2nd Street on the west side of the block they had trucks parked in the parking lot they had trucks parked on the east and west side of the block and there was nobody in the office in the parking lot that had the label of automotive service which was stated on the website so we had to call a general 1-800 number for U-Haul whoever then contact your vendor who was renting the vehicles to us and find some lady in the office come out and finalize the paperwork and then when I attempted to return your truck on time with the app your servers for producing a server error we're not allow me to return the truck at that time so I was forced to pay another day's rental and why bringing your truck back and first thing in the morning if I've already paid a day's rental on it so that way to get my days resident rental out and leave this truck parked outside of my apartment building and listen to my girlfriend complain that I didn't know what I was doing so when really it was your application that had a syntax error and not allow me to return this truck after hours so I would really like to have part of my $85 returning me this half of that thank you and have a wonderful U-Haul day
Michael SIn the past, extras in the back of the moving vehicle being rented (such as pads and handcart) are attached somehow, and only by removing the restraints do you get charged extra for using these items. When we check the back of the truck before we left, these items were just sitting in the back of the truck, not attached to anything. We were careful to avoid touching the items, moving around them so as not to indicate we used them. After filling the tank, we returned the truck as we found it, with the items just sitting in the back. Hopefully, I won't be charged for using them. Other than that, everything else was just business as usual.
Chad DThe truck was making loud sound while driving When I called roadside assistance, I was told that sound was normal. I was suppose to have the care for 23 hours but i returned after a few hours. Charged 71 dollars!

Felisa MNo one here as usual. Left in parking lot as instructed. He said I would get an email confirmation of trailer being returned. Have never seen it. It would be nice to have them confirm that they received it since there was no provision for me to hand it off to a real person. You can do much better than this. By the way that trailer was very rusty and in need of maintenance.

Noel BThe representative at the desk was wholly unhelpful with pickup and dropoff. Not enough reps there to assist with pickup and to make sure the vehicle had enough gas, no dings/dents before pickup, or to help with dropoff. I showed up to the drop-off location at 5:01 and there was a line of customers at the door waiting to pickup their rentals, but the rep had already left for the day.
Daniel ZThe colleague who worked at the 2nd St location told me I had to go to a different location (at Nicolet Ave) to return the boxes I wanted to return and that I would be able to return the truck there as well. When I arrived at the Nicolet Ave location, they said they could take the boxes but not the truck, and that the 2nd St location should have accepted the box return. I had to go back to the 2nd St location and the colleague there spent 10 minutes watching TV (Family Guy) while I waited to return the truck. When I said I couldn't return the truck at the Nicolet location and her colleagues on 2nd St said I should have been able to return the boxes at Nicolet, she told me they were liars. She was very rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing her because I asked her to step away from the TV so I could make the return. I would recommend you resolve this issue for the next customer.
Emily PTook 30 min to even find the truck. It had only a quarter tank in it when we picked it up and we returned the truck on time at 3pm and my receipt says I brought it back at 5. I was quoted $35 and have to pay $125. You guys suck. I hate you.

Koral PThe check in process was absurd. I did not bring my passport or lease to check out the uhaul, and I was sitting in a bad area off a busy road for an hour trying to get verified. Will not be using U-Haul again. The customer service was rude and not helpful. The woman at the desk was helpful however.

Mehmet GIn every way this was a bizarre drop off experience in Minneapolis. They don't answer their phones. The office door if you manage to find it is locked. The one person I saw that works the location is driving rental trucks around the block and just leaving them anywhere because there is no official U-Haul lot. When I asked if I could get confirmation proving I dropped off the trailer this person said no just drop it off anywhere you see a place and if I didn't like it I could drop it off at a different U-Haul location. I was strangely comforted seeing several other people wondering around confused as to where the truck they rented was located. This location is so poorly run I took multiple pictures of me dropping the trailer off to prove I actually returned it in case it gets stolen before the even check it in, assuming they actually check it in. I'm not a bit upset about any of this, but grateful to be from Omaha where we rarely have to deal with goofy stuff like this.

Koral PIt was not clear where to go to drop off the trailer and there was no one there to assist us despite it being during working hours. We called the number listed on the front door and the person who answered gave very brief, unclear instructions as to what to do. We just parked the trailer where we thought it should go (had to unhook it ourselves) and then went back to the front to call them again. After multiple tries someone picked up and said we were good to go without leaving a contract in the box. I had to call a couple days later to follow up on our receipt. We've rented a couple UHaul trailers in the past couple years and this was the worst experience by far. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
Anna MThe customer server mgr was so kind and personable. I dont remember her name. Loved her! I felt a little worried about leaving my truck overnight in North while I used the Uhaul, I was relieved to find my truck safe and sound when I returned the next day. The Uhaul was great, dolly was available. No complaints.
