The only negative about this location was that there is no phone number to call. I was told if I was going to be late or needed more time I physically had to go to the location.

nothing...all went well from the equipment to the nice gentleman that processed the transaction and I appreciated it as moving is stressful enough on it's own.

Service was terrible! Truck was only 1/4 tank, was covered in snow and parked behind other vehicles that WE had to clean off and move only to find out the windshield wiper was broken and they could not fix it or offer alternative truck. Left without my truck and had to go to another location to rent.

Agent couldn't process my return and couldnt use the app as it wasn't working. I was not able to get my refund was unnecessarily charged for gas the next morning after i had already used the station to put gas in immediately before overal experience was terrible uhaul should be ashamed by the cuatomer experience thwy are providing

When I was explained the truck rental the amount was first 15 miles included then 1,43 per mile extra but when o dropped off the truck this wasn’t true I paid for every mile as well I over filled the tank cause I wasn’t sure how much to put in and didn’t even get reimbursed for that my whole U-Haul experience was horrible if I need to rent a truck next time I may try another company

The process to get the vehicle was made unnecessarily difficult by the store clerk, he tried to get me to pay twice for the reservation even after I had done it through my phone. I will not use this location again

Cashier didn't know how to rent out the U-Haul. I needed to wait for the manager to come which was 15 minutes after my appointment, however someone else had one 30 minutes before me and they were still waiting. When returning the vehicle, a previous return was blocking most of the parking lot and I had no choice but to park a long a fence not made for parking.

Love your service, van from the East Main Street location could use a refresh. Always dirty inside. I have a food business and would prefer a clean, detailed rental. Niagara St van is spotless.

The dolly I rented was broken in 3 separate spots and did not come with the strap

I don't want to fault the location at all since this has little to do with them. It's not quite as easy to get in and out of that location due to the size and arrangement of the property, but I like the convenience of that location. My poor experience has to do with the vehicle itself. In all honesty, I didn't feel that the equipment was in safe condition. One of the red running lights in the back was mostly burned out and extremely dim. I believe the reverse lights were impaired as well because of how dim they are, but I couldn't verify this as I was the only person there. The Passenger door had to be slammed hard in order to be closed properly. The spring-loaded latch for the ramp needed to be manually pushed up. Anyone who forgets to do this will have the ramp crash down on the road if they accelerated up an incline. Most importantly, I believe that the front shock/strut mounts may be faulty and that at least one of the steering joints/knuckles is in need of replacement. The extremely unresponsive steering hints at these potential issues and the vehicle is simply not stable on the road. When going over any bumps slowly, you can hear the atypical knocking and clunking of a joint or knuckle and that is much louder when turning the wheel, again leading me to my theory as to what was wrong with the vehicle. I was going to address this at the location when I returned it but I was running low on time and I found that there was a lot of activity amongst the workers there and I felt that it might have been low on their priority if I did mention it. I assumed that U Haul would send me an email asking for feedback so I decided to wait and see if I received this and had I not, I would have reached out to you anyway. Unfortunately, I was so busy moving my daughter that I simply couldn't wait around long enough to speak to them. I've rented with U Haul many times and my overall experiences with U Haul have been positive, so this review does not in any way give me a negative impression of your company. I know that many people rent this equipment and many are not as experienced with larger vehicles and what to expect, nor do many people care to take the time to offer an in-depth evaluation. I simply hope you flag this particular vehicle for a check up with your mechanics or technicians. Other than that, thank you for all of the excellent service through the years.

A few small things. The snow could of been brushed off the vehicle in anticipation of my arrival (i.e. windows, mirrors & roof). This would have allowed me to drive away without fear of having either obstructed vision or of causing a driving hazards to others due to blowing snow. The van bed was littered with "bark mulch" from the previous customer and had to be swept out before I could load the van. I found the overall rental process including the confirmation, estimates and billing invoices quite slick and efficient.

Online Order/Pickup - Pictures for cargo truck were way out of date, minor damages I had to report prior to taking vehicle. Back of the truck was dirty, full of leave and dirty. My 'guaranteed vehicle' was not available so they moved me locations and was originally charged for a dolly and furniture pads that I had said no to. Love u-haul but will not use this location again.

Upon arrival the guy said ' let me find you another location, because there's alot of snow in our lot' He also said can you move it yourself to the parking spot. He did not want to process the return - he told me I could leave and he would process it later. Very poor service at this location

Used your vehicle for 1 small pick up. I brought it back after 1,5 hours and was over charged what was sated in the contract. Will not recommend Uhaul to anybody and will tell them of my experience. The location for pickup was very unorganized. Extreamly disappointed.

Quick and easy process, but the staff didn’t do a vehicle check when I returned the cargo van which seemed weird.

I had already reserved a few days prior and chose the self pick up option. When I went to the counter to pick up the keys. The girl at the counter just kept telling me it's not working but wouldn't advise what wasn't working. She then called someone and got the keys for me after I kept asking what exactly wasn't working. This caused a delay in our move & wasn't a great experience to be panicked for no reason as the employee was not trained.

Having put on the information in on-line I was very disappointed to have to go through it all again with the counter staff. She was very difficult to understand and not particularly helpful. The vehicle itself had 90K+ miles on it and didn't handle particularly well. Upon my return the counter staff was unable to confirm my charges and give me a receipt which he said I would receive via email in the next hour. All in all not a very pleasant experience.

I had made the reservation a week prior and requested two dollies (one utility and one furniture). Neither was available when I picked it up. That was a disappointment, but otherwise all was well!

the woman at the counter was on the phone with her mother and made us stand and wait for her to finish for 20 mins. Also $20 i'm town is a complete lie, i paid $80 to use the truck for 3 hours just to move a couch

I always rent my uhaul s with cash and a deposit. This location told me they didn't take cash even though I have previously used them- using cash. I requested and paid for a utility dolly. Never received it. Back of truck was filthy. Gas wasn't where the attendant said it was. Other than thst it was fine.

1. Interior of the cab was dirty, fruit seeds on the floor. 2. No one came out to walk around the vehicle with me. It didn't seem important to him. 3. The rep stopped processing my rental twice to serve others coming in for gas and other items. It took over 20 minutes to get the key and leave. Although I have just moved to Welland, Members of my staff rent vans for my business in Hamilton (Ontario) every 2 weeks. I would not use this location again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I'm used to dealing with a cleaner, spacious location when I rent in Hamilton.

Your equipment that I had rented and the application I had to apply for with the person in charge went so smoothly and the cost for the day was not costly made my day.. I would recommend any friend of mine anytime..Thank you so very much.. Everything went 100 %..as unexpected...

This was my worst uhaul experience yet. The van was filthy, the mileage was way over what the contract had said (~500 miles), and the guys there didn't tell me about the pre check on my phone. It wasn't until I got to my destination and tried to do it, by then the link was expired. I get that snow and ice isn't their fault, but they didn't attempt to clean the area, meaning the van got stuck before I even left the property. This was to avoid backing down a narrow alley, past cars and a pump and onto a busy street. I won't be coming back.

The clerk who checked out the truck was rude. She failed to explain the check out procedure before asking for personal information. The truck was parked in a tight spot with back access and tight room to maneuver the truck out.

My entire experience was absolutely terrible… Nothing to do with the location as much as the overall company… You have shown me that you truly did not put me first I was extremely inconvenienced… I believe I was misled… And I am very disappointed in the level of customer service provided to me

1) Vehicle box was filthy- Approx 6 wasted/dirty blankets; fist-sized clods of dried mud; overall muddy floor; grasses/hay mixed with mud… the vehicles are supposed to be clean/ swept (enforce it) 2) The cab was filthy-stale with cigarette smoke, and left-over un-used cigarettes were in the dash. The inside wind-screen was coated in cigarette nicotine, obscurring vision when I turned into the sun. The floor was very muddy. The cab should be clean, inoffensive in odour and free of dirt. The windscreen should be free of visual problems 3) In winter, there should be a snow-scraper/brush provided for safe driving

You could accept debit cards for the 9' van. I drove to this location to specifically rent this van and was told I could only rent the 10' with a debit card. Ridiculous I spent almost double what I had expected, I won't be renting again.

There was a screw sticking out of jack apperatus that was very sharp and almost caused damage. The steering wheel shook whenever the brakes were applied,very scary. Still haven't seen email that gives me total for bill

Slight problem getting the truck as it didn't show up on their system as being there initially but a quick phone call sorted it out and I was on my way. Very polite and courteous customer representative.

We pre-ordered an appliance dolly and was disappointed to try several attempts to 1 800 # then drove to another uhaul location to rent. At the end of the term, we finished 2 days earlier than we booked for. We returned truck to same location as the dolley and then were instructed to drop off truck out of our way then charged an extra $54 for extra mileage and gas AFTER we already had put in the gas we owed! Terrible customer service by phone. Long waits and very little answers.
