Chose to pick up vehicle with app. It did not work. The rented 15â€ vehicle was not at location. It took almost an hour and a half on the phone going through 5 different individuals to get issue resolved. The last person I spoke to after all this effort was stellar. The first people had no clue what the problem was, and were not helpful. The last person figured out the issue, and stayed on the phone until it was resolved. If you can figure out who he is, give him a raise. The rest you can keep.Mindy T.

Talk about an adventure in moving; I've enjoyed moving more with a colonoscopy prep! My on-line rental reservation did not advise me that I would need a smart phone to pick up my rental. I was actually expecting a person to be there. The location, behind a shopping center was difficult to find, even though I have been a resident here for 7 years. Once I was able to obtain a friend's smart phone, I found the program difficult to use. I had trouble getting photos accepted. The program would time out and I would have to start over again. Plus, the locks on the lock box were rusted. I had to use a hammer on the lever to get the box to open. Ordinarily, I would not have done that. I was actiing out my frustration. From the time I found the location until I drove away in the truck was 3-1/2 hours. Fortunately, returning the truck only took one hour. I will never again get a U-Haul without going to a location with real people operating it, maybe even selling locks, tape, boxes or tie downs, and renting dollies. Unquestionably, the most challenging customer experience I have ever had, from a company I have trusted and used exclusively for decades. I literally spent more time at the U-Haul location than I did loading, moving, and unloading the truck. The truck did have a soft tire on the rear, passenger side. The warning light on the dash alerted me. I went to 3 different gas stations to put air in it. None had operable air machines. Maybe that is why U-Haul didn't put air in the tire. I decided to take my chances on a low tire. I had already spent more time and money on U-Haul than I felt was justified. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.Bruce S.

They keys to my truck were not in the lockbox and they had to get in touch with somebody and I had to wait there. The day b4!someone called and told me the truck I reservered was not available and I would have to drive 20 miles each easy to get a free upgrade and they would put additional smiles on the truck and I still ended and up going over mileage and I only went from point a to point b.David P.

Location to park truck was behind shopping center - not well marked from street - there was no UHaul office. Drop Box was on side of a building & had to turn down alley to find Drop Box. Return online would not allow me to upload photos. No local number to call for help - called UHaul 888 # and was on hold for 30 min. Lady on phone WAS AWESOME!!!! Kudos to her!!Michael C.
The truck pulled to the right pretty hard which is dangerous under load when renters don't always drive that size truck.Robert R.

After 3 phone calls and 4 hours of my time I had to go to another site to pick up the equipment and spent 2 hours cleaning inside the cab and ventilation to remove cigarette ashes spilled coffee empty coffee cups wrappers and bags off the floors and seatswilliam W.

We weren't even given the correct address for the location. When we called Uhaul for assistance, the rep said â€œsorry I can't help you because I don't know this processâ€ and then hung up.Brie V.

When I went to return the truck on 6/27/2020 my contract had the correct return place however; someone had gone into the contract after it was printed and changed the return location. It took me over 90 minutes on the phone to get this taken care of. 90 minutes on 70 minutes on hold is not my idea of customer service!!John L.
I have NEVER had such a poor experience. I would like to be contacted by someone ASAP. I will never use U-Haul again. I am absolutely livid, worst move of my life thanks to U-Haul. From changing my pick up location, never being contacted to confirm my reservation, as promised, I waited on the phone an hour to do that myself, messed up my pick up time. I Spent over an hour waiting in 104 degree Florida heat for a truck I wasn't sure I would get bc of SO many ISSUES in your immensely flawed system (even the super nice employee was beyond frustrated) and to top it off, changing my drop off location as I was about to drop it off, is that bc you want customers to rack up miles and be totally inconvenienced to suit your pockets? I have used U-Haul for every move, but bc of what I endured today I never will again and will discourage anyone else from using them. Disgraceful.Jillian F.
Dropoff was quick and easy, agent friendly and efficient. I was a little surprised at a 3 $extra charge, but as it was only 3 $I didn't waste time complaining. Agent said I went over 250 allowed miles, even though receipt she gave me showed 248 miles. Overall, decent experience dropping off.Paul G.
I have used U-Haul many times over the years. Your company needs to set up acceptable minimum standards and processes to achieve them. Then you can market your services. Start with making sure the items ordered are ready and available.Frederick V.
