This location is closed all day on Mondays and Tuesday, yet I was charged an off-hour return fee when I retuned my rental at 9 AM on Monday.

You need to provide customers with accurate info about drop off location - especially confirmation that someone will be there for check-in. They guy in Ranchita closed up on the very day I was due to check in "before 11AM", but the next day he did find key I hid under a propane gas cylinder.

This location let us leave with no tail lights and told us to do "hand signals". Very unprofessional. We had to go to SEVERAL locations to figure out what was wrong and in the end, we had to get a new trailer. It took the whole day to resolve that issue. No one was on location when we arrived and we had to wait 20 minutes for the lady to show up. They had to take pictures of our credit card on their phone and then had to show us that they deleted the photos from their messages and their photos. Also tried to give us a trailer with a split tire. And, on top of all of this unprofessionalism, they had the audacity to charge us $70 insurance that we did NOT authorize. Now I have been calling customer service to try and get a refund for that. This has been an awful experience with U-haul.

Had to drive two hours to get trailer. You should have brought the trailer to the store where you committed to provide it.

I used to rent quite a few trucks from UHaul in SD so I'm very familiar with the overall company. I have to say that I did not expect a good experience from this location. It's a small little market in the middle of the back country. I was so so wrong! Best service I have ever received from UHaul. Mike, the owner, was very helpful and the employee (sorry, I forgot her name) was well trained and had a great attitude! All around great experience!!

Tiny location, no other truck there

A perfect experience, perfect performance. The truck and car hauler performed flawlessly for 2000 plus miles. Easy to use, great ride.

I booked and got my reservation online and did not select Safe Move for $14 but it was added anyway. I have USAA insurance which covers the rental truck. I also selected Midway for drop off, and got somewhere else in the contract. I was also supposed to get 110 miles, but got 88. Also, I was never able to open the contract that they sent me, nor did I get a copy at pick up. I still don't have a copy of the original contract for what I booked online in San Diego at home. The move went OK, but could have been better. Don't know where the foul ups to the contract occurred, maybe not at the pick up site! Probably never will know why I didn't get what I expected but the truck was very good.

Pick up on Monday. Store Owner Off Duty. Young gentleman left in charge was unfamiliar with task at hand.Approximately 40 minutes to resolve. After attendant called Owner for instructions, matter quickly put back on track. Owner extended additional day at no added cost for inconvenience. Excellent demonstration of customer care on the part of owner and very much appreciated by me. Vehicle clean and in excellent mechanical condition. Truly the best condition of any previously rented van in my past moves. Thank you. Go U-Haul!
