Eric SAbysmal is the best I can say. Didn't even have the electric hookup for the lights! Told me I could return it anywhere and then was forced to return to original location. Again abysmal!!!!
AARON SThe outward appearance was not what i expected, but the equipment (truck, dolly, pads) were clean and in perfect working order. The man who checked me in was very knowledgeable and efficient in getting me on the road.
Charles MSomewhat hard to find, but once located, the mobile app return process was straightforward and quick, though not as fast as, say, returning a rental car at the airport. If returning a vehicle and then Ubering to nearby STL, recommend budget oneself 20-30 min to accomplish all the steps, photos, etc.
James JThe address was easy no problem to find. However, there are several businesses sharing the same address and property. Moody's mowing was just a lot with inoperable vehicles and machinery, basically a junk yard. There was no office or employees to communicate with. We drove the property for 30 minutes, then, finally we noticed a small sign for Moody's mowing with number. We called for instructions. He had a key box and stated to just leave the trailer around the corner in an area with gravel/dirt. The trailer was not behind lock and key, or a gate. We were very dissatisfied.

Brian RCheck in had to be electronic due to COVID, which was not an issue. However, my reservation originally told me I couldn't do that and had to "see the counter." So after a second phone call, they were able to get that fixed, then the reservation had me go through the check steps that I had already completed earlier in the day (drivers license photos, etc.) What's the point of checking in early if you have to do it twice? Then I got the information uploaded and it was "waiting to approve my rental." So I was just standing there waiting, had to be someplace before they closed at 4p. Finally after chatting online with no one, someone comes on and approves me in a minute. Upon my return, the system tried to charge me a $20 cleaning fee, because the truck had a few soda spills on the console, I felt it was clean enough to rent. So I had to change my answer to no and take more pictures. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Much better ways to rent as vehicle and streamline your process.
Kevin MWhere they park the truck is dark. I got scared because it's so much brush and a possum was walking by. Some more lighting maybe would help. Also better signage. I had to drive around to find the truck

David LNo one was on site or picking up the phone for the contact information that was given to me, so when they left me the wrong keys to a truck that I didn’t rent I had to contact U-Haul National customer service to have to problem resolved.
Jennifer CThere was no one at the location to help find the key. I had to contact customer service to help out and it took over half an hour, which did not reflect on my return time. Thankfully I was not charged a late fee because I included that in the return notes. When we finally figured out the key was in a lock box, the box was not locked. Upon returning the key to the return box, the box completely came open which left the key unsecured. I also did not receive a dolly that I requested, which made moving very difficult. However, I was refunded for that. The truck smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and was filthy (chips, crumbs, used plastic spoons, sticky steering wheel, and gunk on the passenger door). Overall, this experience with Uhaul/Moody's Mowing was subpar and I will not use them again.

Naomi RThe online pickup service needs to be streamlined. When you pick up the truck it asks you to take a picture of yourself and both sides of your driver's license. This is stupid. It should have had you do this at home before picking up the truck. Next it asks for additional info, which once again should have been asked for before going to pick up the truck. One choice to enter is a passport, like who thinks to bring their passport along to a truck rental? So the only choice I had left was to enter a secondary contact, which someone at the call center has to physically call and that person actually has to be there and answer the phone. I was waiting over 15 minutes to get through this process, which once again would have been less painful if it was done when I placed the order, not in the field. Completely unacceptable. Will not rent this way again unless you correct this nonsense. Also the facility had no parking so I had to leave my car in a grassy knoll and hoped it didn't get towed. Also unacceptable.

Gregory BThe gentlemen that helped me out were fantastic! Necause of traffic and detours we were about 15 minutes late to pick up the truck but it wasn't a problem when we got there. They were super friendly and very understanding!

Alexander KThe gentleman who helped me seemed to be the owner of the business, he was very slow checking me in and didn't to seem to really know what he was doing. The truck was clean, but idled very high and the shifting was rough, seems like this needs some maintenance. Overall, the rental was inexpensive, and that is what I was looking for, but the service was lacking and the vehicle seemed to need a little love.
