The sales team is VERY Courteous, The lovely lady knew her paperwork to rent the trailer, knew where the products are in her store. Unfortunately neither of us knew that one cannot lock the trailer hitch to the ball as I wanted. I ended up purchasing a 9,00 $ unnecessary lock. The gentleman knew how to inspect and hook up the trailer. However neither of us was aware that my hitch needed to be"flipped over" to raise up the trailer away from the ground.charles K.
My experience was traumatic. I ordered a 26' truck 2 months ahead of time, close to my house. I regularly called to ensure my "guaranteed" reservation. Moving day came, truck delayed and location of pick up, much farther away. We were told it would be ready that day so our 10 helpers were on hold. It was not available, told next day, Sun. for sure. Nope and the ONLY truck available was 40 miles away so we went. The truck was almost 1/2 the size and a small trailer. Of course I had a 26' truck for a reason. I had to give away and throw away alot of things that I needed and/or were valuable. The whole experience was awful,I would never use u haul again! No apology , 110 off, ha!Carol R.
The rate of 1,09 $ per mile is pretty outrageous. We needed to travel about 115 miles to our old house to clean out a shed and then come right back, 230 miles total. The amount of this 10' truck rental for 2 days is almost what we paid for a 20' truck rental for 10 days in our first part of this move and we did 3 trips, 700 miles, with that. 62 $in gas puts this 2 day rental cost at 350 $. Make a reservation for pickup a set place and time. I went through hell with your stupid customer service trying to get a trailer at a close location and early time. I ended up having to drive 1 hour to get the trailer and 2 hours later than I originally had, then an hour back. Your inability to truly reserve a rental at a location is absolutely idioticKevin S.

I liked the locations. However, in general, I would never recommend uhaul or use them again myself. I requested a 26ft truck roughly 3 weeks from moving date but was informed 3 days prior to my move that a 26ft truck needed was 4 hours away. I had to accept a 20ft truck which meant I was unable to fit all my things when moving 1500 miles away. Terrible way to do business.Jeffrey C.

The Uhaul computer system went down on the 31st of May, so it made it difficult for Moore Lumber in Bailey, CO, to check our rental back in. Scott (last name unknown) with Uhaul (phone number 719-238-0904) did not follow-up with me, as he said he would, from the 31st of May, until today, I have still not heard from him via email, or text. But once again, Stacey Baskerville was great and the previously mentioned equipment SHOULD BE RETIRED, so no one else need not go through this and take valuable Uhaul personnel time also.David B.
Ordered a truck last week and when I arrived they did not have the one I ordered only a small van was available. This ended up costing me more in mileage since I had to make 4 trips instead of 1 if I were to use the right sized truck that was needed for the job. Store blamed U-Haul and U-Haul blamed the store so I was really the only one that lost out here! Customer service had the truck I needed in a location that was an additional 15 miles away but would not compensate for the extra mileage on their mistake so I took a chance with the van instead!Jamie T.

This was a one-way rental from the front range of Colorado to the Western slope. I saw the weather report and asked if I could pick-up the truck a day early and try and beat the blizzard. U-haul said there would be no charge for this when I went to pick up the truck, the representative told me to ignore the form because it was correct in the computer and she did not know how to change the form. When I picked up the truck I was informed that the truck did not have snow tires. Besides being dangerous, it is illegal to drive in a blizzard without snow tires. The day that I picked up the truck, it started snowing, before I left I-70 was closed in 3 places along our route, so I decided not to leave that day. The Colorado DOT did not lift the snow tire restriction for a week, so I sat with a loaded truck for a week waiting for the weather to clear. Besides the expense of the delay, I had to reschedule the movers. So this is a complaint that the agent did not correct the contract for the early pickup. But it is a zero star review for Uhaul for providing a truck that was not roadworthy for the conditions.steve V.

Uhaul moved my pickup location to a location one hour further away. I had to get a smaller truck in order to avoid the long drive. Because of that, I couldn't fit it all inside and now I have to rent another truck. Very disappointed.Corey M.

No Problems with the location, just with UHAUL policy, when I choose a 24 hour rental and I get charged an extra day because my 24 hours puts my return time after their office closes, even though the trailer was returned and available for a rental the next day, if it was indeed booked. I have had this scenario before with several uhaul trailer rentals and was never charged a second day for return after hours.Warren H.
Charged me for a 6x12 trailer but was given a 5x8. Only just realized because the lady, Dawn, said I would be refunded my money as long as I returned my trailer on time as a double charge was normal. Very poor customer service, as the lady that helped me cussed, was rude, and didn't know how to rent a trailer.ERIN B.

When I was finally able to get to the store to pick up my trailer I told the guy the tires were bald and I was going to be driving to Iowa and would like a trailer with better tires. He said that was all they had and I would be fine. The day before I left for my move I noticed one of the tires was flat! I had to stop loading the trailer to wait for a repair person to come and change the tire. When he got there he commented on how horrible of shape the tires were in and replaced 3 of them. We were delayed on the move for a day and I had to miss yet another day of work because of U-Haul. Horrible customer service!! No I cant recommend a company that rips people off. The truck rental 29,99 $ for 23 1/2 hours. Mileage 0,79c per mile 181,00 $, taxes 14,64 $,( dont know what thats for cause my road sucks), environmental fee 1,00 $ (for what?), Colorado state road safety program 2,00 $( I never received the program,another scam of a fee), the end total fee 228,90 $ what a joke!Shari D.
