We drove 60 miles in the early dawn hours to arrive at the location and the truck was not available. We arrived at 5:45 and the truck was not available till 7:45. Someone dropped the ball and everyone at U-Haul pointed the finger. Great concept using the smart phone...however the system / process wans not very well thought out. Sorry to say I will not take that chance ever again. I did receive a full refund and a $50 bonus from U-Haul not completing the transaction. But I nearly missed my connection and issues with the weather caused a great deal of stress...far greater than $50. I would have much rather just had things worke out as planned. I will say that I received a personal phone call from the area manager later in the day to appologize and I thought that was going an extra mile.

The U-Haul staff was racist and very unprofessional. I will never use them again and I will put this on Facebook so other people wont use this place. The guy who work there call the police on me because I wanted my money that he owed me back he charged me way over what I was supposed to be charged for the rental and he stated to me that he was a lawyer

I turned in the truck a day early, 9pm last evening. There was another truck on the lot in the rear. The drivers door was open. I called the city police and filed a report when the officer arrived. She closed the door. I rated this experience average as there were no x's on damaged areas and I received no paperwork as I have in the past. What would have happened if I had been pulled over by the police? I had nothing to show I had legally rented the unit? As always I filled the tank and left the receipt in the unit. The Management must be new as I asked why the damaged areas had not been marked, she did get a roll ox z's and we put a few on she stated they just received them.
