the u haul web server rented me a truck from a dealer that was closed on veterans day i called customer service and they found a truck at another location. I picked it up the next day then all went well!

Worst experience with u haul . Scheduling is a joke ... I called for a week straight to make sure all was good to go and they sent us to the wrong location ,also never called 24 hours or the day before to schedule, I HAD TO CALL last minute. Long story short my husband waited 3 hours to get his truck and couldn’t do so with out them trying to fix there mistake over the phone . Horrible experience

Besides the fact that the location was many miles from where I asked for, only one person there knew what was happening. My notification regarding location came at 10:00 the night before pickup. I was only given 6 pads though I paid for 12. And the truck box leaked during rain!

The furniture blankets and dolly we requested were not in the truck and we were still charged for them a month later when we finally got the final invoice. This is after notifying them the items were never in the truck to begin with. Otherwise a good experience.

Tried using the online app for checking in, but ended up having attendant in the office help. Next time id just skip the app and deal with a person on site.

They gave me the wrong drop off directions, told me I won’t be charged for it. Following the instructions, I ended up having to drive back, refuel, add mileage and more over they still charged me an extra day for being an hour late to drop off timing after their mistake.

My return was by 1:30pm and I arrived at 1:00pm. I was not helped until 1:50pm because the person was on lunch and noone else knew how to check in the uhaul.

I reserved a Uhaul for 9:00AM, received my confirmation, and arrived for pick up. Upon arrival, I was told “the person who does Uhaul was not there” and “I could not be helped” because “that was not [that employee’s] problem” Needless to say, I waited for the arrival of the employee who could handle the rental, delaying my move timeline.
