The location was great and the manager was great-but the Uhaul 24/7 pick up experience was AWFUL. I arranged for an 8a pick up and was stuck on the phone and on various chat features for 2 hours trying to pick up the truck. it was glitching and redirecting me back to step one, it was a very bad experience that caused a lot of stress and having to rework the entire day plus start with a 2 hour delay.William P.

The equipment was clean ran nicely but the right blinker and break light were out. Didn't realize until the person who was following let me know. They said that they thought that issue had been dealt with but had not. It was a short trip so it wasn't an issue. Nice Friendly people, good location.Robbin P.

The web based log on wouldnt work. Fortunately the local owner showed up to work half an hour early. Great guy. I need to rent a truck again in the fall. Definitely where I will go. But fix your stupid log on please. Next time I might not be able to wait and get lucky with someone showing up early to work.Andrew N.

I rented a 26' truck for 2days originally. I noticed when they gave me the truck that it was the oldest in the group. Also when I got closer to the truck I realized it was pretty beat up. I noticed that the little x stickers where on the spots that had been wrecked. But still why rent an old wrecked truck to me? Send it to the repair shop. Once I got in I noticed how old and damaged the interior was. And that it had over 200 000 mi. Time for the scrap yard. Anyways I didn't have time to complain or request a newer truck as they closed right after I got the truckâ€¦also the oil light came on as I was driving and the truck leaked oil all over my driveway. Thanks a lot. What bugs me the most is that no one will read this or do anything about. I have made comments on vehicles I have rented in the past and no one cares or responds. I used to work for U-Haul when I was in college it was a great company everyone was very proud to be apart of the family. Now it's justâ€¦I'm not sure. Okay well this was fun talking to myself. Keep up the sameâ€¦Joel M.
When there are two vans available, give the newest one to the customer. I was give the older van and the brake light was out while a new van sat unrented.Terrell C.

I reserved blankets and they had none and really weren't all that helpful in getting any. Also, when I realized that I failed to include an appliance dolly in my original reservation, I tried updating it online with no luck. The chat feature was also no help and they simply referred me to the pick up location. I tried calling the pickup location multiple times over the course of 2 days with no luck reaching anyone or getting my calls returned. When I picked it up, they sent me to another location miles away to TRY to find blankets and a dolly.Jimmie K.

I was originally scheduled to pick up my truck at 8am from DF6 LLC in Columbia, TN. I arrived on time but the entire place was closed. No one showed up to work that day. I don't know how that is possible but it happened. Am I supposed to believe there are no managers or owners or other employees for that place? I didn't even ask to pick up my truck at that location. I wanted to pick up closer to my house but the way your system works, you didn't give me much choice. After about 27 minutes on hold waiting for a U-Haul rep to pick up the phone (no one ever picked up my call), my wife drove me to another location in Columbia. While they were unable to provide a truck, they did call and get an answer as to what was going on so that was much appreciated. I was then contacted by U-Haul and notified that a truck had been secured at the Franklin location. Again, much appreciated. Even though they did refund some of my money and they discounted the truck, it was still a little unfair because I had to drive an extra ~20 miles one way to get the truck and again when it was time to return at the end of the day. That meant more fuel I had to replenish and about $40 more in mileage charges. I am thankful that my day was salvaged but I will do whatever I can to never have to rent with U-Haul again. You don't have enough support staff and your app is unusually slow to load anything. I work in the service industry so this was a *mild* review. If you or your affiliates paid a living wage you might be able to attract good employees that could resolve a host of issues for you but my guess is you're running lean and grinding the employees you do have right into the ground just like everyone else.Bobby P.
The lock was stuck on the truck and we could not get it open. We called customer service twice and the woman we spoke to was rude and told us we must not be doing it right and that no one else had ever had a problem. We were told that we would have to wait until 10 for a worker to arrive to help (we had been at the location trying to get our truck since 8am) once the worker arrived she was also not able to get the lock so we had to get a new truck. The worker at the location was very kind and helpful but customer service on the phone was very rude and not helpful.Thomas C.

Uhaul totally screwed me. I rented a 15 foot truck to be picked up in Laverne, TN and they told me 2 days before my move that I wasn't getting a truck. Then they reserved a 10ft truck for me that was 40 minutes away so I had to also rent a trailer at a different location. Uhaul cost me time and money.RUSSELL B.

The truck leaked water and our stuff got wet. Damaging some of our belongings.Roberto F.
We were scheduled at a different U-Haul location that opened at 7 am - they switched us to a different one that didn't open until 10 - even though we had scheduled the 24 hour pickup, the location forgot to set it up. We only had help until noon so the whole situation was a disaster. When we called the 800 number they said we will give you a $50 credit which shows they must have issues a lot. Then upon the return a few hours later (we had 24 hours but only had the truck for 4 hours) I was charged another $47 for no reason. We left the truck with the same amount of gas (less than a quarter tank by the way), less miles than included (44), and many hours earlier. I have used U-Haul in the past with no issues so I'm hoping this was just a completely off day for them. I will be calling about the extra charge either way.Savion S.
Make sure inside is clean and the maintenance lights are not on. It was dog hair all over the passenger seat and my son is allergic to dogs. The back was not swept out so I had to sweep and wipe down before using. The tire pressure light was on the whole timeTAKESHA G.

Needs a waste container somewhere outside the facility, since we need to clean the trucks and sweep the container. Also not much parking space to leave a 26' truck, but did the best I could! Besides that, looks like a nice facility.Jonathan P.

The loading ramp on my rental truck gave us a great deal of difficulty to deploy because a mechanical strut underneath the ramp had broken a weld. This made it troublesome to extract and also to return the ramp to its proper stored position, Clearly the break was old but I was given no advance warning of the issue nor a discount for our trouble.julian G.

I used the website to make a reservation, as I was on the way and two minutes out from the original location i received a call that that equipment was not available. We found that truck 45 minutes away, so we drove out to the Franklin location to get the truck. I asked the woman on the phone if there was any way to waive fees to drop this truck off in Dickson due to the inconvenience, she offered to take 4 dollars off the minimum of a 50 dollar fee for this. That is insulting. The reservation in Franklin was at 2, we arrived at 1:58, there was a sign on the door that they were out on property and would arrive back at 2:20, 2:30 comes and still no employees. Finally at 2:40 a female come out of a back office and lets us in. If you have a pick up for 2, make yourself available at 2. As soon as we walked out she locked the door again, I guess it's a good thing there were no issues with the truck or we would have waited another 40 minutes to speak with an employee.Chelsea C.
