The Van was clean. It pulls to the right. When I was taking an exit it felt like the van was sliding to the right. When I changed into the left lane the van pulled right and then turned left. There was significance play in the steering wheel.

My only problem was that when I returned the truck, the app could not pick my location to be able to continue with checking out. I called customer support and they told me that they need to transfer me to live support and live support was unreachable. I left the truck in the designated area, throw photos just in case, and call customer support to leave a note. At the end, I got charged for an extension that I did not ask and got a higher fee than expected.

Called and they said they wouldn't charge us then they charged $20 for "oil and tires" something I have never been charged for at U-Haul and I rent them 1-2 times a week. Never coming back and reporting as fraudulent charges from this place

Checking in to get the truck over the phone took almost 40 minutes for me to sit and drive a truck that smells like rancid urine. Offered price $19 is a joke as I paid over $60 to use it for 1 hour. It's offensive how ripped off I feel about this situation.

I couldn't use your website to return the truck despite turning ON location services, and when I tried to access the help page, it was covered by a large questionnaire which I couldn't get rid of. Oh well, it all worked out in the end.

But the area I was in had terrible service so everything took a very long time. What should have been a 5-minute task took nearly 30 minutes.

The lock was broken that was chained to the truck but there was nothing about that on the initial walkthrough portion of the rental. Overall a very good experience with good service from Mt. Pleasant Hardware.

Apparently it went through even though it had given me an error. So we had to call customer service and they were the ones that told us it did. When we picking up the truck, we were having issues upload the ID also. They need to fix that! The overall location is good and the staff was helpful.

The self check out process is also confusing. The people at this location are extremely helpful and nice though, the location itself and the trucks just need work.

Closest location was 30 minutes away. Wasted 1 hour on move day to pickup truck which also caused additional fuel expense. I won't use Uhaul for future moves.
Christopher JordanAs soon as I started the engine, the dashboard indicated to change oil soon. Not providing comfort for me for the rest of the day. I pumped in 5 gallons of gas to get the gas indicator to the 5/8 of a tank where it was when I got the van. The summary bill that was emailed to me showed only 1/2 tank full and charged me an extra $10,35 for the gas. I feel that I am owed $10.35.
ROBERT MCMAHONThe truck inside smelt like extreme marijuana and took 2 days of cleaning and leaving the windows open to get rid of the smell. We rented from Uhaul because they are supposed to be non-smoking vehicles. We had to drive 900 miles with the windows open. Very very disappointed

Song LeeI've used Mt Pleasant Hardware to rent U-Haul moving trucks before. I highly recommend this location due to their excellent customer service. Super kudos to Brenda! I've moved out of their area, but honestly would still use them if at all possible. Our move was terribly stressful and done in awful heat, but they made it easier by just being kind and understanding. I can't thank them enough!
Linda AhlertThe engine check light was on which was concerning from the moment of rental. It would have been great if they could have gone over a few functional items - like the tow haul button, the mirrors, the back latch, etc. the height clearance etc. walk you through the basics don't assume customers know. They were missing 2 of the rental items I had paid for and couldn't figure out how to credit me back the $27. Seems like it should have been easy. I await my credit.
josephine ekeI took the location because it was a 10 minute walk away. The cup holder was dirty with loose tobacco I believe. The cab also had a coffee glass bottle stuck to the floor behind the driver seat along with a shipping box on the floor. The location is a bad location to have to squeeze out of with an over 15' truck. The trucks are tucked behind a narrow hardware store customer parking lot, leading into narrow busy downtown streets. As far as picking it up the employee I talked to inside was great. Then the owner/boss came out of no where and scrambled all his paperwork while telling him to hurry up. The owner/boss then took over and threw me my receipt while telling the nice worker to get out of the way...annoying when your paying 840 dollars for a one way trip to Maine, and just want to get concerns answered.
