The 24/7 truck share option is great in theory, however it is not as straight forward as one might think: it added an extra layer of stress to moving day.
Clint DExcellent service à la clientèle. Even when the UHaul server went down for 2 hours, they were patient and kept trying. After an hour delay, all was resolved and I had the keys to the truck.
Chess AThe pads I ordered were not at this location and I had to go to another location to pick up the pads. No offer of explanation or compensation for my time and fuel (location for pads was further away from my house). Site was poorly staffed.
Michael ZComputer glitches slowed the pickup process. Gas reading was off by a 1/4 tank. It cost me an extra $50 in gas.
David ZThe appliance dolly we ordered was not in the truck, nor was the standard dolly we could have used as a backup.

Mike BThe app doesn't work very well. It took 15 minutes to upload the first 4 pictures and then it asked for 5th picture of the location after I gave up and left the site. There is no reason why it should take so long to upload photos, especially on a native app.
Trevor CHad to drop off after hours. My cell battery was needing charging so I had to leave and come back. One suggestion. Why not have a Uhaul wifi at such places so phones are not dependant on cell networks that eat batteries. My phone was 40 % when I began sending everything but it took so much battery to send pictures I almost couldn't do it.

Mike BVehicle was dirty inside. We had to sweep to use. Windshield was speckled with dirt. Smelled of cigarettes . They were very busy and doubt they had enough help. But we decided to rent elsewhere next time.
Sandra cPlease make note on the description that the key is on the fence of a different business. We spent 10 minutes looking for it. Once we figured this out, it was easy to find.

ALAN JNite: This does not apply to the businesses that supplied and took back the trailer, just the headache that U-Haul themselves made. This has been my worst rental experience i have ever had. Everything other than the trailer itself was changed. My pickup point was changed to another location. My pickup date was changed to a day earlier and I was forced to borrow a vehicle and take time off to pickup the trailer due to the new pickup point not being open Saturdays. Drop off point was changed as well, meaning I had to drive an extra half an hour each way when there are 3 drop off locations in my original drop off location. U-Haul has been my worst rental experience. U-Haul tries to move the blame to the businesses that provide and receive back their products. Customer service via the phone was literally useless. U-Haul needs to set up an equipment transfer system to move equipment from location to location and allow customers to drop off U-Haul equipment to any U-Haul dealer. Again, this is not about the dealers, they were kind and professional. This was about how U-Haul runs their business.

FRANK HI was driving at night when something didn't look right. The running lights were fine. Turn signals were working. Brake lights ok. But, the tail lights were not working. I was glad i didn't get pulled over. I let them know the next day about the lights and hope they fixed them

MARTHA GIf you'd like to be rated as above average update your supposedly easy mobile login to actually being easy. That process is terrible. Further an update of the interior of this place is seriously needed. The demographics of Woodburn are changing and the people of Woodburn are leaving town to other businesses that actually update their interiors.

mark JI made a reservation and went to pick up the truck, the place I went to informed me that they did not rent U-Hauls and that they have been unsuccessful at being removed from the website. The nearest location was in another town, U-Haul did not offer to give me a discount for the extra mileage. It is appalling that because uhaul has little to no competition that they feel it's okay to screw over customers. I will do my best to avoid U-Haul in the future. This is not my first time renting a U-Haul and not the first time I have had issues.

RAUL GI had to wait till Monday to pick up the auto transporter because it was not available at the same place that I rented the truck (Reserved six weeks ahead of time).I had to wait the extra day to get the trailer that was 20 miles North out of my way from where I was moving from. I got back to where I was moving from and loaded the car to find out that the trailer tire was flat. Had to wait two hours to get the tire fixed. All of this put me over four hours late to start my trip. Not happy at all.

Brian SGas level was not full so I had to guess on how much to put in and overpaid for fuel. Also there was no mention that the vehicle did not have a loading ramp which damaged the item I was moving. Also the check engine light was on just fyi.

Eugenia DIt was frustrating to hear that my truck only had a quarter of a tank of gas when I picked it up, since I needed more than that for the day. And then when I got in it had much less than a quarter tank, but I didn't have the time or energy to go back and point it out. What happened to "rent it full, return it full"?
