I want to point out a big dissatisfaction when I arranged for returning the trailer. I called the UHaul number as instructed on the contract. The person answered the phone was so unprofessional. First, he told me to return the equipment to a location farther away. When I asked why can't I return the equipment in my area, and not go all away agent is in another state. He almost cut me off and said “do you want to file a complaint I can transfer you to the customer service department. I said the location you want me to take the trailer to is in another State; there is one only a few miles from where I am, and is in town and in NY State. So he gave me another location, in the same county, but further away; and Hung Up on me before I could say anything. Isn't this the after service corporate culture. Anyway I took the trailer to the local near me where I wanted to return it to. The local agent took the trailer. No hustle! So I give the local agents 4 stars. The company overall a One Star.

SCOTT DAVIS M.Feedback for U-Haul, not the location: I booked online for a 24/7 truck share and was instructed by U-Haul to download the app in order to access my truck from my mobile phone. When I arrived, I was not able to access the truck from my mobile and had to call U-Haul assistance for help. They informed me that the location did not have mobile access and that I had to wait until the location opened. Luckily, the location was open and was very helpful in getting my truck. U-Haul should not allow me to reserve a truck at a time outside of the location hours if that is what is needed to rent the truck. Again, the location was great. This is a U-Haul website/service concern that I fee should be addressed.

Edward H.When picking up the truck, I received a fuel alarm for 46 miles left until the truck ran out of gas. The front desk employee had informed me the tank was half full. I walked back inside with a picture of the tank a few minutes later and he marked the fuel line to be less than 1/8th of a tank full and had me sign it. Whenever I dropped the truck off it was nearly half of a tank full, or approximately 15 gallons more than when I picked it up. I was charged $28 extra for low fuel. Uhaul should technically owe me around $60 for leaving the tank in better condition than I picked it up. Instead, I am net $88 behind. I submitted a ticket with photo evidence of the pickup fuel amount, the form marked by the front desk employee in Brewster, and the dropoff fuel amount. Fortunately, I recorded all of this on video, if this needs to go to small claims court.

When I returned the truck , the man working saw me drive in and came to assist me with the return without me even going inside. He too was very helpful. I made another reservation for later at this same location and am glad I did after this exceptional service. Not many places have much in the way of "service" these days. Wish I noted their names.
