SHAWN DThere we're definitely enough pads, but there were way too many pads. Half of a Ubox worth of pads. Everyone involved with my delivery at both locations were excellent. The problem I have with U-Haul is the hidden cost associated with shipping. I was never informed that I would have additional delivery cost union arrival of my Uboxes at my destination. That information was only given to me once I spoke with the agent on my destination end. Thankfully I was prepared for it, but it wasn't planned in my budget. I spoke to several representatives prior to my delivery and it was never mentioned. By the end of this transaction I could have gone with a moving company for the price, which would have included movers to load and unload my household goods at a cheaper rate. Prior to my Uboxes being delivered I spoke with a representative at the tool free number and asked about the delivery fees. I was placed on hold for several minutes only to be told that my delivery would be schedule for the next day with a charge of $1000. That was Uhaul's price. I went with Negal's and the delivery cost me only $300. I'm not understanding the logic in that. I've moved numerous times over the past decade and this has been the most frustrating situation. The problem hasn't been Negal's or any of the other third parties I have dealt with. It's U-Haul deceptive practices that have caused the issues.

Kyle FI called the Hoffman estates location before my rental to arrange for an inspection, and they discouraged me from doing one. It was a big mistake as I had issues! Thank goodness the guy at Nagles was so wonderful. Also, you all should be clearer that one way rentals might not be available to be picked up at the location you select. That was quite a shock to have to drive an extra 70 minutes each way which could have made it hard to get out of the dorm in time.
Mary HWe had made a reservation the month before to pickup the tow in LaCrosse. The day before we are notified that we needed to get it in Eastman because then we're none available in LaCrosse. That was very inconsiderate.
David PDrop off location was great.Speaking to uhaul to set up rental was a nightmare. Pick up location was a nightmare. Only drop off location was pleasant.

Brian MYour website would not work to return my trailer. Even with location services enabled it would not work. So uhaul needs to fix that. But thankfully, Chris (owner of this auto shop) was there during his business's normal hours that day and checked the trailer in for us. Many thanks to him!
BRYAN PI found 3 dead mice and tons of Mice S**t in one of my containers. After all of the money I spent getting these containers shipped and stored, I would of expected it to be stored in a better location. I had to throw away lots of things due to this. I will never be using your services again
Patrick MCharge $30 late fee. A 10:00 drop off time was not listed on the original paperwork or stated on the phone with uhaul. We would have picked up later if we had known. We dropped off shortly after 12.

Emile SEverything was fine . What bothered me was I got charged for the vehicle insurance $14 and I chose not to. Also I filled up the gas ,going only 64miles and it took over 10 gallons of gas. Not real happy with uhaul

Micheal ZWe rented a 4x9 utility trailer with ramp for 24 hours. Nagel's was excellent with communication and service, very pleasant to work with. The trailer is awesome, very hefty and pulls super steady. A1+** transaction.

john sWhile this location was excellent, UHaul has fallen far over the years. The last move had me at the same day, when picking up the truck and no notice plus 45 miles away. This move has the truck being cancelled with no call (I don't care about your lie), a very rude corporate woman, a second call and more lies, and only to find out what was to be a local truck was sent on a one way trip (another lie). Add to that that a supervisors was promise to call me back on Saturday, between 7-7:30 am and of course another lie. Do you train your people to professionally lie? Still want a call back from a supervisor or above.

Janice HOur pod arrived three weeks late and damaged, but Uhaul has only refunded the $50 per day, still charging us for pod rental (during the time it was missing), as well as the $203 remaining of the transit charge. In my opinion, because our items arrived not only late, but damaged, we should not have to pay for any transit fees or for the pod rental during the weeks it was missing. We are very disappointed with our experience.
Stephanie BThe pick up location was clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the overall experience was overwhelmingly frustrating. I reserved a truck four weeks prior to the date I needed it but was forced to drive 3 hours to pick up the truck. The next time I need a truck I will use Penske (even if it's a little more expensive) in the hope they will be more reliable.

Three kids were building a "race car" out of an old Grand Am, driving it like they were indeed racing it....moving old cars with fork lifts on the property...just acting like crazy people. Yes...I was scared. The trailer was parked in the mud...tires/wheels packed with chunks of mud.
