alan S.The pickup location and lady who worked there were great. The website does NOT make clear that if you don't pick up your truck within an hour of reserved time, you may lose it. We received the reminder text and immediately called uhaul. The customer service rep was rude and argumentative. We have used uhaul at least 1-3 times per year over the last 10. Especially over the last 3-4 years, the customer service from uhaul (not the leasing locations, but the call center) has gotten progressively worse. Being able to use the website and mobile pickup/return as opposed to having to deal with your customer service call agents is a huge blessing. Your website should be more clear about the pickup expectations.
CHARLES W.Rental agent needs to verify that the rented trailer they hook up to your truck matches the equipment number listed on the contract. This was not done and when dropped off at a different location, caused issues for receiving location, and myself. I know I'll confirm equipment hooked up matches contract from this point on.

JOANNA B.I was told by the representative that the fuel tank was full. That was not correct - the gas tank was only half full. Additionally, when we got the truck to the moving location, we found cockroaches in the trailer of the truck and swept them out. However, when we unloaded the boxes at the new location, we found live cockroaches in the boxes that have now infiltrated the new home. We had to contact an exterminator immediately. The U-Haul customer representative I contacted on the phone was notified of the cockroaches and we were given a $30 U-Haul gift card as a remedy. This does not really do anything to help with the fact that cockroaches hiring an exterminator have to occur.

Linda H.After reviewing the bill it appears we were charged 12,75 to much. It was for fuel included in 86,33 total charge and charged again separately. Can of two trucks we looked at were filthy. We also looked at open trailer which was full of dirt. We changed from open trailer to truck day of rental. Received email that we had not picked up trailer. They never canceled it when we traded. Also they said there was a half a tank of gas in there but it was half way between a quarter and a half.
Diane P.Both the store and the cab of the rental truck reeked of cigarette smoke. And agent's toddler was subjected to this environment as well. Absolutely disgusted by this experience. I had to drive with windows open in rain to air the cab.

NANCY H.The only issue is with the drop off location is the fact they smoke inside the store. The smell off smoke is strong and compounded by the confined space. However, The attendants were very nice and extremely helpful!!
JAMES B.Walked in the place stunk of pot smoke, mind you this was 9:30 in the morning. They didn't have the dollies I requested in the order nor did they have the blankets. So I had to buy two dollies plus blankets which costed 3x what the rental was. Plus the truck could barely make up hills and made a horrible bang when shifting and would violently jolt forward. Horrible place don't waste your time or money with these clowns.

Linda R.There was a lot of cigarette smoke in the store that we had to go into to rent the truck. Since it was a tobacco store, all of the employees smoke while working. We don't smoke so it was bad for us. The truck rental went smoothly though.

Benjamian I.These ladies were very helpful, with the size I was unsure I actually needed. The reservation for my truck was a smooth process for me. I had to cancel that reservation and I was happy to know that there wasn't a charge and the I was still able to rent that 15' for the next day. Whew! I was doing my "Happy Dance"!
Sharon J.The only problem we had was with the door. It didn't want to close. Uhaul called somebody to come help us with it. The breakdown division at Uhaul is an excellent service with employees who get the job done!
