There is always a problem at the end where they have to bill you 2 or 3 additional times for this or that which they can never explain what it's for.. this time I anticipated this crap so I took all my money out. They threatened to send me to collections and charge me 30 $. What????? For what.. â€œunknown chargesâ€ lol.. Then when I got pissed about that they transferred me to another lady who Said she didn't know what it was and told me to just pay it. When I blew up she then explained that it was for 50 extra miles at $.79 a mile and everyone knows it adds up to 12,04 $. That's my Review. U-HAUL THAT!!Eric D.

when i signed up to rent the truck I said I wanted to rent from the counter not MOBLE and when I got to the rental place the guy told me he doen't do counter and that I had to do a moble app which isn't what I wanted then after I got the truck and went to return the truck to the rental place.I had trouble scanning the code so I could return the keys and they guys says oh i can do that for you .Then he went and asked me if I had any trouble with the truck and I told him no but with the whole start was bull .I told him that I signed up to do it on line to do a counter rental and he says oh you should have told me that we do that !!! I told him that when i first got there ! you need to have a NEW WORKER doing the rental of your trucks at this placeDale B.

I was not familiar with the turn in process. I had left the truck at this overnight and locked the dolly up to make sure that it was not stolen. When I got there this morning the guy was real curt with me when I asked him about the process asking me if I had read the contract, not friendly or helpful. Other than that everything was fine. Truck performed well but as previously mentioned it really needed cruise control.LOUIS JAMES B.
Specifically made a reservation to pick up in store. Reservation was automatically changed to a mobile pick up. Employee at store refused to help. Stood out in the cold for 40 minutes trying to complete check in process with terrible phone reception. Eventually had to call corporate number and confirm information over the the phone because the form failed to submit and go to the next page and I could not finish check in. Stress I did not need in my life, next time I will pay more and use Penske.Samantha F.
Everything went great and I can work with the automated check in and out but there is a dickhead just sitting inside the storage lot trailer that could open the damn door and provide a little help like show you around a little bit. Absolutely no help at all and kind of a prick attitude. Other than that the experience was excellent and maybe that's good now I know how to do the automated check in so this a hole lose his job.Nils V.

I was very pleased with the help I received from the staff at the storage facility. I was very worried the night before my scheduled rental, when my pick-up was switched from at the counter to online, and discovered several recent bad reviews by other customers. I do not own a smartphone, and was unable to pick up the truck online, and was very worried that I would run into unhelpful, uncooperative staff. This was not the case! The woman who helped me (yes, through the mail slot, socially distanced) was absolutely lovely, she had alternatives to an online checkout, and she answered all my questions and helped make sure my checkout went smoothly. The truck was in fine condition, it was clean, and when I returned it the same lady had sanitizer ready for the key. Wonderful experience!Catherine S.

Couldn't really see the place, I passed it with GPS. Then only way I saw it was the one truck out front, way in the back past the bank. Not a good location, not good advertising or signs.Joel H.

I was told the truck was clean and sanitized. It was not vacuumed, had cigarette butts and ashes in the ashtray, and a dirty sock sitting on the middle seat. During a pandemic, more attention to cleanliness is important. I reserved a truck at a location that is a ten minute drive. The reservation was changed to a location twenty six minutes away. Luckily the location was on my route. The location was clean and accessible. The attendant was pleasant, prompt, and helpful. The truck was easy to operate and perfect for the job.Brian O.

Very high priced and why do they have painted on the truck rent for 19,95 $. What a joke. The guy running the office that day was very arrogant and strict. I drove 4 miles and was charged for gas and mileage. So much for treating the customer right! When I rented the truck he asked if I needed a storage unit as well. I said no and he took the answer pretty personal and his whole way of doing business with me changed I could see it and hear it in his voice. When later in the day I did need a unit he was happy. I checked another place and they were much cheaper I would of rented there by they didn't return my call and I had to make this happen quickly.MARY D.

I rented my uhaul out for 24 hours. 2pm-2pm. They call me at 1 and tell me it was supposed to be back at one because it's rented out at 130. I told her that I would get it there as soon as possible. I got there around 2:10 and they had already charged me for an additional 24 hours.Jocelyn G.

1. We had to wait approximately 35 minures for the employee to arrive back at the location in his personal vehicle. The location had been opened for over 2 1/2 hours. 2. Employee did not explain all aspects of the rental to us not did he explain the rental truck had been damaged already. Employee did not explain that packing blankets were rentals he rather indicated we were purchasing the packing blankets by stating "You can buy a pack of 5 for 5,00 $ or a 10 pack for 10,00 $". After returning the rental to the secondary location I was instructed that the blankets are rentals only and had to go back to the new storage facility in order to retrieve them so as not to be charged a daily rate for every day past return. 3. We were charged a specific amount based on distance. The employee utilized Google Maps and charged us that mileage. We however used less mileage by 27,4 miles yet we're still charged the full rate. This is unacceptable as the rental should go off actual mileage not approximated. If we had gone over the initial mileage I'm sure we would have been charged the 0,48 cents per mile as indicated by the employee. 4. We requested an appliance dolly with strap and none was provided at the location. We instead were rented a regular dolly at 10,00 $, which was clearly stated a 7,00 $ rental right on the dolly provided to us. The employee failed to indicate that a one way dolly is an automatic 10,00 $ charge. 5. It may seem petty to most but the amount we were overcharged in my opinion would have paid for over 3/4 of fuel needed to bring the rental truck back to the proper amount of fuel it was at when we rented it. I will NEVER use a U-Haul again rather I will utilize one of their competitors.Kelly B.

If the person would have went by the words that was stated out of his own mouth. Was not properly explained in regards to gas and was charged for it not being OVER 3/4 of a tank when he stated for it to be bright back at 3/4. Stated that if the dolly was taken off but not used to explain that it wasn't used and we wouldn't be charged but was still charged. Poor experience and was not very nice about itDaysia G.

The reservation, pick up and drop off of the vehicle was easy, quick and efficient. The vehicle itself was not great and was a bit dirty inside the cab. The vehicle ran fine but the engine light was on the entire time (200 miles of driving), which concerned me, the drivers door rattled loudly and the passenger door did not seal and whistled loudly the entire time on the expressway.Gregory F.

Over all the experience was very smooth. The only issue was a very noisy ride. The window on the passenger side was without trim. This made the wind come through and the noise in the truck was terrible.Dwight C.
The comment does not concern the location, just U-Haul itself. We got a flat tire about 1,5 hrs into our trip. We called the service number and was told that someone would be out in about 75 min. When you are stuck on the side of a highway that seems like a long time. However, when the service person got to us he was unable to help with the tire. We then called U-Haul back and after being on hold for an extended time, we were told it would be another 2 hours until someone would be able to help us. I find this unacceptable and poor service on the part of U-Haul.Heather K.
