Great customer service but does take about 30min to do paperwork
Susan Varnermy issue has nothing to do with this vendor. my issue is that U-Haul accepted my reservation then 2 days later told me it wasn't available, and I had to drive 45 miles to another location. i used the trailer for about 30 minutes but that turned into a 5-hour duration because of the reservation system. really frustrating.

JAMES MOOREThe van was parked out by the road about 150 yards from the office (rural location) with a heavy cardboard sign advertising U-Haul in the windshield. I'm a 73 year old woman and they knew ahead (I had a reservation) that that was the van I was to be assigned, yet no one had it ready near the office or offered to bring it to the office for me. That was the first thing. After I wrestled to get the sign out of the windshield and got on my way, I immediately noticed there was a warning light on on the dash indicating the front passenger tire had no pressure. I turned around and returned to the office. The man behind the desk, without even looking up, told me the van had a bad sensor and it was fine. Why couldn't this have been told to me when I registered and was given the keys? This put me behind on my 95 mile or so trip to pickup the furniture I'd purchased which was the reason for the van rental. I was there early to pickup so I could leave promptly on time. The van was clean but the customer service was, at best, indifferent. The van should have been parked and ready to go at the office and the sensor problem should have been noted when I signed the van out.
Robin PageI was told that I had an open drop off and would be able to drop off at any U-Haul location, I had to go to three different locations before they would except the trailer, I had to go to three different places and drive about hour and half just to drop off a 6x12 trailer.

william hallThis was NOT the drop off location on my contract. I arrived at original location and was told they can't take the trailer, so had to find another location and drive there. I should get a credit adjustment on my bill for U-Hauls mistake.

Cheryl NemethThe only negative issue I had is cell service at their location is absolutely zero. Because of that I could not use their return vehicle procedure where I was supposed to electronically enter the returned vehicle mileage, etc. My cell provider is T-mobile, so that might have been part of the problem. Perhaps they could have a WIFI hub installed at their location then customers would be able to properly complete their return vehicle procedures.

Sam SpornhauerI reserved my trailer was supposed to pick it up at 7:00 a.m. in Leesburg I was told they had none but I sent someplace else 20 miles away 7:00 a.m. they weren't open they had none got to run around that day to try to find one finally went to Nelson's at 10:00 a.m. who had one then went back to Leesburg they had one and said I couldn't have it so it was reserved for somebody for 8:30 what happened to my 7:00 a.m. why didn't I get the one that they had put his 3 hours behind not happy with U-Haul at all Nelson's was fine but it should have been across the street from my house at 7:00 a.m. not a half hour away at 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
