Did not verify mileage on truck prior to rental so I was charged an extra $20 for mileage I didn't drive. Furthermore, charged me for 3 days rather than 2. I will never use an "authorized dealer" again. I urge everyone to use caution when using a "dealer". I've been perfectly happy with my rentals from Uhaul places. But I've used "authorized dealers" twice and have had horrible experiences both times. Be sure to verify your mileage prior. Be sure to ask about the way they calculate "days". I picked up the truck at 12:45 and dropped it off at 3:30 the next day. I was charged for 3 days! Then the guy said he "waived" my late fee... What?!? T Then he said I was 30 miles over my estimate of 20 miles. But I didn't take a picture of the odometer when I got in. I had only driven 10 miles. I didn't even have to put gas in because the tank was still showing as full because I drove so few miles. Never use an "authorized dealer". They will swindle you because you're already stressed about the move so you don't have the time or energy to fight them.

We received no paperwork I guess we received an email at like 6 am I shouldn’t hve assumed I’d get paperwork I guess, Also I was charged a 1$ per mile bc we made a 2nd trip funny uhaul had me take to a place further away from where we moved to 15 miles so I ended up paying quite a bit fr those 15 miles

I requested 66th and 90th location, they said it needed to be at like 135th and 66th location. The day of about an hour and 15 mins before I was supposed to get it they changed it to 49th st and 108th, which is closer...but when I got there the guy told me they close at 12 and if I dropped it off at another location I would get charged. And they lock the gate so I had to move my car to a gas station and walk back to get the uhaul so my car didn't get locked in. Also hope my car woildnt get towed sitting there... just horrible.

When I returned the truck, I had to track the worker down to let him know I returned. I put gas back in the truck before returning it. He said it was a hair off, so would be charging an additional $12 to have to go refill it. We all know the next customer is going to see where it is and will also try to estimate about where it was - maybe a hair more, maybe a hair less. I thought it was bad service to be charged the $12 even though I paid for gas. He didn't even offer to drop the amount I spent on gas. If homework wants to have return customers here, he's going to have to show a little more understanding and help the customer out.

The location and staff were good and friendly and got things setup quickly. I tried to check-in online but the page just got hung when I was submitting license pics, so I had to go in to check-in. Then the associate also had issues with the system freezing up..

Here is the Rub. UHaul changed my pickup location to their benefit. I had to drive from Tampa to Clearwater (15-20 miles) over a viaduct that was under renovation in an area I was not familiar with. Within a couple miles of my personal destination there is a UHaul place. I stopped there and asked if I could drop off the truck and trailer there. I was told I couldn't change this more convenient and closer drop off location without having to pay a penalty. UHaul can change my pick up location as they see fit and at their convenience, but the paying customer can't drop off the rental truck at a more convenient location. Something is not right here. Other than that the truck and everything I rented with it worked perfectly.

The only thing was the tank of gas on the U-Haul was at just above half and I have a picture to show that and I let the guy know at the pickup location and he said great to make sure you show the picture at the drop off location well I had to drop off the vehicle last night because we're taking off early today if you guys can contact me I can send you a picture and also basically I would just like the refund for half of the gas that I put in on Philip I put $80 in so $40 back. And the reason for that is when I filled the tank it did not register that it was going up and when I stopped I thought that was halfway but then when I turned the engine on it was full.

The primary drop off point could not take the trailer so they sent us to another location. At tge second location i had trouble locating an attendant. Then I received a charge for delivering it late.

I rented a pickup truck to tow my boat to storage. Everything worked perfectly. It was so easy I might consider selling my tow vehicle and just rent from u-haul when I need to service the boat.

Do not recommend. Highly unsatisfied experience and will not be going through Uhaul again. My estimated cost before taking the rental truck was around $150 and after I returned my bill came out to over $260. I was over charged, billed for high insurance coverage that I did not choose when making my reservation, did not receive my requested number of moving covers/pads, and more issues. I requested 2 dozen but only got 6 pads but was still charged as if I was given an entire dozen. I will be disputing the over charge and will not be getting services from uhaul moving forward.
