Clean the cabin- we found something illegal under the seat! Maintain the vehicles- worn tires, bad wiper blades, and a persistent high pitched sound present when driving And NOT require the customer to lose an hour of moving day to pick up a truck way outside of town- the person there didn’t even know how to check out a truck and e had to wait for then to do so on the phone- including reading my credit card number and security info over the phone.

Worst rental I have ever had was laughed at embarrassed degraded. Had to wait till 2 pm to receive my rental because the guy wasn't there they gave me a broken truck had to end up parking it for hours in the pooring rain on the side of the road called customer service spent 30 mins talking to some guy he laughed at me talked to another person spent 50 mins on the phone got nowere she said she was talking to all these people road side assistance a manager and someone else 50 mins later I finally get transferred to a manager she tell Mr there's nothing I can do for you gives me additude....they gave me a bad truck all I wanted Todo was take the truck they gave me a either replace it or drop it off not at the same location I picked it up at because it was breaking down on me and I didn't want to get stuck in the country I'm the pooring ran sitting on the side of the road I will never come here again everyone stay away 3HRS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ALMOST 4... 1 45 MINS ON THE PHONE A BROKEN TRUCK NON COMPLETED JOB ..AND THEN IT WAS MY FAULT STAY AWAY FROM UHUAL

The facility itself was fine, however, I was incredibly upset that I had to drive 30 miles in the opposite direction from my home to pick up this trailer, despite there being 8...8!...other U-Haul locations within 10 minutes from my home. Not notifying a customer until days before the scheduled pick up that the location will now be 5 towns over, 30 miles away from the desired location, was an incredible inconvenience. There has to be a better system...

This was not the pickup location that was set up on the computer. I showed at the original location that did not have the truck I needed and had to go several miles out of my way to get the truck. I was not happy about this!!

Terminate your relationship with this outlet immediately. Friendly folks, no doubt; but the gentleman on duty seemed to be the owner or manager and his hands were as dark and greasy from working on cars as you can get. He wanted to shake my hand, then he handled my credit card and driver's license with those same hands. The location looked like it came right out of the movie 'Deliverance'. The inside had character, tons of cluttered wall with memorabilia and such... Overall, the location was great for a down home feel for a local mechanic but NOT for UHaul. It is embarrassing to your brand. Just my thoughts.... you asked for them.

The staff at North Boston garage are the best! the idea that a reserved truck is available without the keys is unacceptable! the keys were not there as they were with another staff of U-Haul in another town. I did not gt the truck until 24 hrs. later.The staff at the "garage"were awesome!!!!

Large appliance dollie was missing a part, making it impossible to use with any security. Suggest improve inspection as this inconvenience was huge to the move. The people at the garage were great-attentive and pleasent.

it was a very small place, and we had no idea where to park legal. so we parked it as far off the road as possible, there was vehickles every where. but this was the closest place to drop it off at.

Take the trailer off the road. We sat on the highway for 4 hours waiting for a tire and rim to be replaced. The trailer was so old we were told it took that long for them to find a rim and tire to fit it. The rim cracked causing the tire to blow, Your customer service reps were very uncaring. We asked to hav someone come with a flat bed and take the trailer to a secure location to get us off the highway. They had no idea if we were traveling with small children or had any health issues. 4 hours is a long time to sit on a busy highway waiting for help when u call the 1-800 number for road side assistance. Dave, I believe, is who I dealt with. He was incredibly rude and short with me. The comments he made on my contract made it clear he was paying little to no attention (there was mention of me discussing something with my husband, however I am not married). When I learned that the location and truck size both deviated from my original order/request I asked if I could call him back after I figured out a plan to have it picked up as it was now 35 minutes away as opposed to 5 minutes away and he closed at 4 on Fridays. He acted as though it were an inconvenience to him that he "had just gotten the reservation handed to him yesterday." He also said, in a very condescending tone that he had called me "as soon as he got it (the reservation)," referring to the call he made one day prior than the required 24 hour scheduling time requirement. While it is true that he called me a full day early, when I returned his call not ten minutes later, he had "just stepped out" and I never received a call back (that was at noon therefore I assume he had plenty of time left in the work day to call me back). While I'm aware that only 24 hour notice is required, he said that he called me early as if to say he was doing his best or doing me a favor, leaving me a message to simply call back to schedule, however, is about the same as not calling at all, for this reason I did not find the fact that he simply made the call a compelling reason for him to act as though he were doing his best. The manner in which he said it was also entirely unnecessary. Finally, the utility dolly was not on the truck. While my father who picked up the uhaul failed to notice it because we did not need it for loading the uhaul, I noticed it when he arrived because we needed it to unload the uhaul. The fact that I was not charged the $12 it would have cost does not make up for the additional 2-3 hours it took to move in due to the lack of equipment. Maybe my father should have checked but its not his job, its the garage's job to accurately fulfill the reservation. Furthermore the two customer service people I have spoken with regarding the dolly and another issue have been incredibly rude.
