I feel I was over charged. When I did my reservation it was $50. When I got to the location. He charged my card $142 than charged an additional $25. I have been calling the location all week and have not been able to connect with no one. I’m planning to visit the location this weekend.

#1 make sure the trucks have gas in it. #2 the guy in the store was not friendly when I inquired about the truck #3 estimated 1.79x30 miles. I only drove 22. I asked him to adjust it. He told me not until he close up for the end of the night. #4 the truck had bugs flying around it. Clean it or spray it. The only.good part was the person on the phone who made my reservation.

At first horrible... Reserved a truck, went to pick up... No truck available. Then what's the point of reservations? Called in, they gave me a further location, no reimbursement for the inconveniences or the fact that I had to pay for the extra gas used and extra miles driven to and from the location to pick up and drop off. Location people were really nice!!! U haul needs better customer service.

We were charged an extra $125 day fee although we had the van for less than 6 hours. The van was returned the same night, yet the vendor logged us as returning the van 1 day and 16 hours later. Very suspicious and sketchy business transaction and no staff members at the location to assist us. We also reported on return that the turn signals were not working. This was brought to my attention by a family member who was driving behind us. This could have led to a very serious car accident, and how this U-haul van passed inspection is quite unbelievable. Would caution against renting at this location. North Conduit Service Station 162-35 N. Conduit Ave. Jamaica, NY 11434. It is within the Sunoco gas station. Shame on U-HAUL for having them as a vendor.

The location wasn't so much a problem as uhauls policy on charging a prorated rate of 25 miles. Uhaul tales forever for someone to answer the phone in "customer service", their system lags and no one from corporate comes to these locations to check the vehicles and see how the businesses are running. Horrible.

Terrible service I had reserved a 10 foot truck from U-Haul customer service to be picked up at Rockaway Boulevard, 124th St. and South ozone Park Queens specifically asked if they would be open on Monday which was a holiday customer service told me to hold came back to the phone she said they are absolutely open when I got there they were closed the man inside said no trucks were being rented today. Then I called customer service again and they referred me to 156-05 Rockaway Boulevard after I took a cab there they were also closed it cost me eight dollars for a cab fare, so then I called customer service again and they referred me to 162 -35 North Conduit Ave. where I finally got the truck that was disgusting and filthy I had to sweep out the back of the truck, clean out the Cab of empty coffee cups Snapple Bottles and used Napkins inside the cab. Before I pulled out of this facility I checked the mileage which he said was 57 355 and was actually 57 357 And he also told me there was 1/4 of a tank of gas which was 1/8 short also I immediately called him and he asked me to take a picture of it which I did and sent it to him when I got back he charge me for six dollars worth of gas and $19.69 in mileage for 11 miles I only traveled 9 miles he told me it was 11 I felt I was overcharged $10 between the gas +2 miles extra This is definitely not a way to conduct good business A very disappointed customer

when we rented the truck they had to return the first previous 2 trucks due to the fact the mileage was not correct-apparently when we rented the third truck it was rented then immediately returned so for drop off they had no record of truck still be rented. the location that was chosen for the drop off when we went there they refused to take the truck even though it was the designated drop off site. After 30 minutes on the phone with uhaul they gave us a new location-since we had to bring it to the new location we went 4 miles over the designated mileage and was charged even thought it was not our fault. the new site never notified uhaul that the truck was returned so uhual truck recovery contacted us to find out where the truck was. it was complete incompetence start from finish and I do not plan on using uhaul again

Staff was very rude and would not accept rental return. I was told that there are no space and I should take the vehicle else where. The staff indicated that he had entered into the system that his location is full but yet still the assholes keep sending rentals there. I had to be very stern and threatened to leave the keys on the counter and walk out. The return process was very unpleasant and caused me to miss my flight.

Honestly, I know you must read a lot of reviews, especially negative ones, but this UHaul was hands-down the worst one I have ever been to. I have used UHaul in the past and have always had a positive experience; this UHaul leaser is damaging your companies' image. Rented out a UHaul van on behalf of a company. They wouldn't accept credit card via phone. Every other UHaul I have been to allows for companies to pay for vehicles via this manner. Whatever. Get in the van. Food on the dashboard. Maple syrup stuck to the steering wheel. Coffee spilled all over the cupholder. Bags of trash and clothing in the back. Horrible odor. Someone was living out of this van. Clean out van myself. Start van. Engine light on. Front left tire is really low. About an eight of a tank left. Awesome. Get back from driving without (somehow) breaking down. They still insist on using my card. I can't pay the bill myself. UHaul puts a hold on my account. My credit gets messed up. This is the worst UHaul vendor I have ever been to. Trying to fight for a refund for the horrible experience. Horrible for the company image; their company policy throws the consumer under the bus with no regard to the condition of UHaul's property. I don't understand how they haven't been disciplined yet before, considering they told me they have had multiple UHaul vehicles stolen off of their lot already.

Convenient location, helpful staff, good logistics. Only issue was we ordered mattress pads but they did not have any at time of rental. They didn't charge us for them but it meant we had to go somewhere else to get them for the move. Other than that would highly recommend this location/staff.

When I picked up the rental there was live roaches in the moving area of the truck. I immediately notified the employee and he swept the area. When I reached my home and opened the rear gate three more roaches were present. I went to rite aid and spent $10 for a raid roach spray and I sprayed the whole area of the truck. After doing so there was a total of 7 dead roaches. I was disgusted. I don't think it was fair that I had to spend $10 of my own funds to clean out the truck. But overall the customer service was excellent.

I used a truck for 6 hrs. I was charged as if i used the truck for three days. I was told i would be refunded. I have over 500.00 dollars in transactions missing from my account when It should not be. Horrible experience. I would not recommend this location. Very unorganized and inconvenient.

I tried to rent a van at the U-Haul location at the corner of Rockaway Blvd and 148 Street in Jamaica, which is a couple of blocks away from my house. I was told that the U-Haul website there is not working ( Thursday) and he will call me after who ever he talked to call him back and fix it. I called for three days no one pick up the phone, I had to walk there to find out what is going on. All I was told is it is not fix. So first thing Monday morning I went to the one on Guy Brewer, I was in and out right away and the same when I brought it back.

I would reccomend no one use the location o north conduit. One of the worst customer experience ever. Either stop using rental facilities or get actual uhaul workers because when i rented from uhaul before( an acutal location) i didnt run into these issues.

When i first called the staff member said my van was unavailable even though it was confirmed the day before. It was frustrating as he was not helpful and did not try to find a solution. The help desk though did have a solution and were friendly/useful.

When I returned the Cargo Van the customer service Representative was very rude and obnoxious. The staff in the morning and one of them was still there on the left register was very professional and curtious. The person that dealt with my transaction was very abrupt. After many hours I spent moving my 92 year old Auntie's apt he was very sarcastic about refilling the gas tank. I drove 30 miles, I just simply forgot that the gas had to be replenished. He was immature and presented poor customer service. I recommend this young man needs some proper training when dealing with a customer.

I was one of 4 people that came into this gas station with a reservation. I was the only person to get a truck after waiting more then a hour. Two people who had reservations for that location were turned away and told they had to go somewhere else and another guy was given a truck and then told they didn't have a truck for him. What is the point of reservations if they are not honored? I am lucky to have even gotten a truck when I did from the looks of things. I will hopefully never use U-Haul again after that experience.

I first went to a location on merrick. They didn't have any available trucks and made a reservation for a location on "farmers and the conduit." I was only given the cross streets. I drive for almost an hour in circles stopping at every gas station. I finally checked my email to see an exact location and it turned it to be a location that refused me saying they don't have any reservations or vehicles. After showing them my reservation then I was serviced. This experience to find a proper location was too stressful. The vehicle itself was in working order but had garbage in it and had the check engine light on. I have never experienced this with uhaul before.

Terrible I was charged for 33 miles when I only lived 1.7 miles from this location and where I was moving to was 2 blocks away. How can I put 33 miles on it. There was a glitch on someone's end and I'm not happy I had to experience that. I advise anyone who is renting just double check the milage they put on the paper so there are no problems..

When the representative marks that the gas is at a quarter of a tank at pick up on the paperwork, I don't need to argue with the new guy (different shift) at the location when he insist that there was a 1/2 tank of gas, regardless of what the paper works states. It was extortion as I was charged $10 for gas that was not due. He also made me pay for it separate of the contract which seems like a scam.
