Hours are limited at this location but they did have a drop box for keys. Dropped my rentals off last night and called u-haul because the return my U-Haul function on the website was not working. Called and left a message with the location last night and got charged for an extra day today because the location "returned" my equipment this morning. Had to call and dispute the charges. The website and the app were useless for this rental. I had nothing but problems.
TARA MUhaul agent was very helpful in making my truck reservation and she had equipment ready for pickup at the appointed time. She fully explained return/drop off procedures, and was helpful and courteous in assisting us in a successful moving adventure.
RAYMOND SQuick, easy, friendly and accomodating. I've used them twice now and will continue to do so.
BARRY AThe location was closed, not responding to phone calls. We spent over one hour there on the phone with U-Haul trying to return the trailer.. We installed the app on the phone,, that was not useful. Then we tried going through the website, and were unable to accomplish the return. The representative we spoke with said he would note our difficulties and said the return would be done, with no additional charges. We are hoping that is the case. He was very helpful.
Joe RMy rental went smoothly in Tupper, however when I returned the truck in Plattsburgh, I had a Trak phone & was unable to complete the return by my phone & the facility was closed by 5:15pm as I returned the truck on the same day. I went to the drop off location the next day before 11am& started my return on my tablet. The woman was in front of the store. I videoed her showing me the key she took out of a lockbox & stated she'd already processed the return. Long story short & many calls to U Haul later, I found out the woman processed the return at 6PM, NOT before 11 AM. This added an extra day's rental charge & was automatically taken out of my debit card (on file). I finally spoke to a woman at U Haul that read all the notes from all my calls & live chats & she was able to process a refund "for approval" & said it'd show up in my bank in about 5 days. They take it fast but don't give it back fast. This experience has been exhausting.

Tammy SWhen I went to the uhaul location where I reserved the trailer, the office was closed when it should have been opened after 9AM. Called the number posted on the door to talk to "Dick", no answer. So I went across town to Cornelia street and thankfully a trailer was available to rent. Unacceptable my initial reservation was not met. Time was of the essence and if no trailer was available at the Cornelia street location, I would have been in quite the bind.

ALFRED CFront tires had the wires showing . Was told I would get a 20 % discount didn't show up on the final bill . Inside side of the cab needs a good cleaning cup holder very dirty.
MICHAEL APick up location was staffed..no issues. Drop off location was closed but we had no issues leaving the trailer and received our email confirmation for drop off.

Thomas CIt's confusing with the mobile pickup. We had to take the selfie 6 times for it to go through. Don't go alone or get dropped off there alone. The parking lot looks abandoned and a little creepy on a Saturday afternoon and there are others stores there.
Ryan BPicked up Truck 6:00 am August 10th. Requested 3 dozen blankets received 1 1/2 dozen they were wet. Requested utility dolly received appliance dolly. Truck was turned in Friday night no one checked in truck. No one checked to see if what I requested was on the truck. Truck had not been swept out. I need a refund on items I did not receive.
Willie TThe agent was highly distracted by her children. She provided no customer service. She did not even tell me that there would be a text message sent to me that I needed to look for and open before leaving the parking lot about verifying the equipment. Thank goodness for the very helpful people at the U-Haul reservation call center and their video library. I am happy to not need this location again.

I was only supposed to be charged a 20 footer because you guys called me and said we don't have a 20. I'll give you the 26 for the price of the 20, she didn't know how to change price . The back of the truck was dirty. She didn't have the proper dolly that I needed.
Sue PThe UHaul location I dropped off 6'x12' cargo trailer had a wheeled device that lifted trailer off car hitch. That would have been handy at pick up location.
John OThe fuel was less than full(we spent $48 in fuel to drive about 70 miles). The back compartment was dirty and needed to be swept before we could load anything, plus a moving blanket was sprawled out on the floor. We ordered a moving dolly which we never received.

John GFirst….it took about 40 minutes from scheduled pickup to finally get the U-Haul keys! The online system took so long to accept my info that I called thinking something was wrong. Finally, we got approved, but then hand a difficult time retrieving the key! They should prepare you for how long it takes to retrieve the keys. I was 30 minutes late to deliver couches to my client. Lastly, I asked specifically the inside dimensions since I needed to rent a truck big enough for 3 couches not stacked. The length was 15' across the ceiling, not the floor. We ended up tightly fitting the third in, but was expecting a bit bigger. The young lady in the phone that works at that location was very nice and professional over the phone..
Denise P20' truck I rented was very dirty in the cargo area and the front driver side door had to be slammed shut to close properly. Need more staff so there is more than 1 person available to help customers.

Jeffrey BCheck lighting on trailers at return along with at pick up, so next customer can be assured that the trailer side will work. there are several types of devices you can plug into a trailer to test them without hooking up to a vehicle. Trucks should be rented FULL, that way there is no guesswork.

Clyde CI was told by the weekend female employee that I could get a student discount if I called after returning the trailer. 2 hours after returning the trailer, I received a call saying the trailer was not returned. I explained it was returned at noon and inquired about the student discount. I was then told that any discounts would be applied by the pickup location. When I called the location and inquired about the discount that was OFFERED to me, I was connected to a rude woman who insinuated that I was lying about the discount that was offered to me. I never inquired about a discount. The lady who facilitated the transaction asked me if I was a student and said I'd receive a 20 % discount if I was a student, which I am. The woman on the phone from Trim-A-Lawn kept insisting that her employee did not offer me a discount and proceeded to state that giving a 20 % discount would mean their location would not make money. I then stated, if this is the case why would your employee offer a discount. This woman was extremely rude and made me feel gaslit as she insisted her employee didn't offer the discount that she IN FACT offered. Would not use this location again and will not recommend this service.
Damien MUnable to locate ANY person to drop off the equipment to in person. Tried MULTIPLE locations. Most would not answer their phones or respond. Customer service can only recommend "just leave it". Not just Trim A Lawn but EVERY Haul "dealer for 50 miles!! Where is the personal customer service? Competing companies were much more professional. This was completely unacceptable and wasted a great deal of my time. Never again.

Eric ONone of the owns I secured in my rental were in the truck - appliance dolly, blankets. The facility was not open (7 am) so I could not get them. This greatly impacted my moving experience.

David TI asked for some simple tips on how to hook my car up and either she didn't know or didn't want the liability, but she just sent me a video which wasn't worth my time to watch. One of the safety chains was missing the hook and a make shift open chain link was attached instead. Finally, my wife ask to use the restroom before we left and she was told no, there was no public bathroom. Not the best service as far as I'm concerned. I would drive out of my way to go somewhere else.

Rick HI didn't feel safe with the drop off box on a 4×4 post. Scary actually prefer to have a person there to give keys back to. Otherwise alot of parking room for uhaul business, well lit up and great location. So overall good!
Jackie FMake sure a 2" hitch ball is stated as mandatory for usage of your hitch on your necessary equipment. I had to scramble to find one at the last minute. Not a great experience.
Gilles Lprovide requested equipment customers pay for. remotely attempt to clean last persons trash, food, used covid masks and other items from the cabin including the center console which looked like it had been used as a garbage can by multiple drivers.

Pamela MDespite my online reservation requesting an in-person pick-up location, my pick-up location was changed three times in one week, and changed to a cell phone-only pick-up. I was hesitant to agree to a cell-phone activated pick-up, since my phone has reception issues in Northern NY, but a customer service representative assured me that I'd be able to call someone to complete my pick-up if my phone did not work. That was not the case. When I went to pick up the truck at the third location and was unable to do the cell phone pick-up, I called customer service and was told there was no other option--after spending hundreds of dollars on a plane ticket and flying to NY for the sole purpose of picking up that truck on that day. In addition, I was charged for moving blankets that were never provided.
