I don't think you could do much to improve on what you have. Mabey a small instruction on how the hitch ball latch works, and a sticker, or etching the paint, or metal, stating the ball size. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I have pulled a fair sized variety of trailers, and currently own 3 very specific to the job they perform, and a twin axle 14' dump trailer, and have never seen the latching system as your trailers have. So when I went to load, the ball was rotated all the way clockwise, and while I brought 2 stingers for my receiver. One 2", the other 2&5/16. The ball obviously would not slip into the trailer tongue because the hand knob was fastened all the way down. in my mind however I had brought 2 stingers both with the wrong size ball. The young lady In the office braved the frigid cold wind, risking being caught in a death worthy blizzard, if we had those here I mean, and she schooled me with excellent advice, not to mention she learned me to proper skills to use this type of ball lock. Now that I've run into one, I know exactly how one of these types work. Still though, had the ball size been etched onto the tongue, I would have confirmed I do not need a 1&7/8" ball. The 2" fit tight, and right. Perhaps a video link of the young lady demonstrating the process? Might save someone ignorant like myself a drive back to the office, and kept the gal inside, and warm. I'm probably the only person who has had such problems, so I doubt this would be a very lucrative additional to your process. Everything went great with the rental, the 6x12 trailer is very easily maneuvered. I was able to easily back down a long narrow, and snakey driveway, with valuable vehicles, and RV's parked right next to the edge of trail, but had zero trouble, using my mirrors only, no guide. It was stressful the 1st or 6th time, but beyond 10, I was doing the entire half mile trip with my eyes closed, and proved so multiple times. All the while having 3 active text message conversations going, and an overfilled paper cup of Hot, hot hot McDonald's coffee between my knees, and never spilled a drop, nor missed a beat on the convos, all the while catching 15+ minutes of sleep on every trip. I say this U-Haul is the best I've rented from yet. I was in, out, and had Bernt up the road within 15 minutes of arriving. Pretty slick, and quick. Thank you very much.

The van was clean except for the inside surface of the windshield. It was quite dirty and caused extra eye strain, especially as we were driving in the direction of the setting sun. The interior clock had not been reset for daylight savings time-it was one hour behind. Finally, the cruise control was inoperative. It appears as if someone in the past had pressed in two buttons too hard, or perhaps they were stuck due to dirt accumulation. This was the Set - and + buttons to tweak the speed. Because they were both pushed in, the system refused to set.

The customer service at this location was good. Truck ran well and got the job done. Exterior of the truck was pretty filthy, not a big deal. Interior seemed fine. Where I have an issue is the price gouging and refuel routine. U-Haul charges more per miles for rentals on Fridays and Saturdays. Do Friday and Saturday miles cause more wear and tear on the vehicle? Oh and the refuel routine is also super unethical. The truck should be full when I rent it and full when returned. Asking customers to estimate and bring back the truck where it was at( or get charged extra for gas) is a sure fire way to get customers to overfill. I'll be looking for any other options for my next truck rental needs.

Friendly, helpful staff directed me where to park my vehicle and efficiently went through the paperwork and instructions. Cold, frosty morning and the rear roll up door was stuck. Staff helped me find a lever (shovel) and that did the trick and I was on my way. 11 hours and 400 miles later I returned after hours and discovered on my bill that they waived the after hours fee, which I appreciated. Great place to rent a truck convenient Poulsbo location. Fortement recommandé!

Got stuck with the trailer rental for an extra day because they were closed the day I needed to return. Got told I could return it the day later with no extra charge went to return it at 7am and waited tell 7:10am for someone to show up couldn't wait any longer cause I had to go to work. I left an hour early from work to get there before 5pm. They charged me an extra day for their mistake. My total before was gonna be $41 now it was $82 and the $26 an hour I missed from work so costed me an extra $60 for their mistake. Make me not want to use another uhaul again.

The worker encouraged me to bring back the truck after hours, even though I was calling at 8am and the office was open until noon. He was uninterested in checking out the truck before we left, then he charged us a fuel charge, even though we are certain we returned it with the same amount of fuel as when we picked the truck up. We were told we only needed the amount of fuel that was in the tank when we got the truck, 1/8 of a tank. There was 1/8-1/4 tank when we dropped it off. We feel cheated.

They don't honor check in on the app. They keep all the keys inside so you still have to wait in line and they make you redo everything inside. Make sure to take a picture of the mileage and gas gauge before you leave the parking lot and another photo when you return because they will lie about it.

These guys are probably the cheapest I found. I was on a budget and so nice to have them. They traveled from Tacoma I believe, so that might be a 30-45 minute drive. Was worried they might not want to come out to my location for only 2 hours. They did without any complaints. I dint have any cash to tip them....not nice on my part...but they didn't say anything. If I need them again I'll make up for it. Thought I might be able to tip electronically on the uhaul app...but does not have that option. We were in a big hurry since I only booked 2 hours. If I had more time I would have had them be more careful with the furniture. Probably just a quick comment before they begin would be a good recommendation.....but as I said....I was in a hurry and my furniture is old. So I just wanted them to work quickly, which they did. Got what I needed done. Just to note...I acted as the 3rd mover.....if I had not we wouldn't have finished. So keep in mind that a lot of the movers you hire have multiple bookings and they probably can only stay for the duration you initially hire them for. As for time....once they were ready to start I set a 2 hour alarm on my phone. I'm sure they were keeping track...but I just wanted to be sure. So....good choice hiring these guys. Don't pass on them because they are the lowest price. They are as good as the higher charging guys.

While the truck was clean it was very damaged on the outside. Dented and pulled panels all around trailer bed. The engine hood was rusted and missing trim work. It ran ROUGH! This rig is tired and should be retired. The staff at North Kitsap Storage is fantastic and I always receive good customer service through them.

I was able to call the day before to reserve a pickup truck. The two women working at the location were very friendly and made pickup quick and easy. I originally reserved the truck for one day to haul something, then ended up needing it for another day. They were very accommodating when I called to add another day. I believe when I called I spoke to someone not in our local office and they were also very helpful. All in all a very easy and pleasant experience.

Every time I visited the storage facility I was treated poorly by the male attendant. The woman was always pleasant. I have rented this unit for 3 plus years on autopay- rarely come and go and was spoken to with disdain and contempt. I would never recommend this facility to anyone based on the treatment I received by this individual. It is also the reason I chose to end my unit rental.

2004 rented my space. Always prepaid to get 1 month Free. Left it spotless & notified office Sep 6. Was pd thru 10-31, 2021. Still waiting for reimbursement. 8 weeks should be reimbursed.
