Doug was very helpful and friendly. The truck was great, just one small scrape on the front left side of the bumper with some white paint. I did an eyeball check at the U-Haul location but didn't walk around the truck so I missed it.
Winifred RNo person there to help with drop-off (supposedly out at the bank for a LONG time). Problems with 'remote' way to drop off and no one there to help. Long wait time to resolve everything over the phone. In the past when we had u-Haul rentals, the in-person experience was FAR superior!

BRAD JVery helpful staff. My reservation did not lock in a drop off location, only the city. Owner was locking up for the holiday, but stayed to handle my drop off, looked me up in the system, located my rental, checked me in, and assisted with disconnect. A++++++

Anne DAlways a pleasure doing business with North Shore Auto. The only disappointment I have is that U-Haul doesn't list them as a drop off location in Cheboygan , so North Shore Auto can be difficult to find. Also, a discount is given if the rental is driven to Gaylord, over twenty miles further than need be. I understand the concept, but like to keep my business in Cheboygan and with people who have proven to be reliable and have great customer service.

Timothy OIf Uhaul would actually tailor business towards the customer it would benefit all parties. Well, maybe not because Uhaul has the market cornered with no other options for anyone who needs to rent, at least in Michigan. Hey Uhaul, if you provided equipment to places like this one in Cheboygan they'd actually do better business for them and you. But you corporate assholes are sending it all to California…. liberals……you are the REAL problem in my country. If there was another option than Uhaul I would definitely choose it. Hmmmm sounds like a business opportunity.

Richard hNo real space to return the rental after hours. Tight space. Had to put trailer in one spot and truck in another spot. Not impressed with Uhaul in general, took 3 attempts to secure equipment that we needed. Wasted gas to go to locations day before to get them to be told they werent available or had to change locations. Was charged for mileage ahead of time that was not aware of.

Michael GImprove website and app experience. It is so glitchy and frustrating and kept timing out when I was trying to pick up the truck. This is not the fault of North shore Auto at all. It was all uhaul issues and it was incredibly frustrating. Doug at north shore was kind enough to come in early to help us get the truck because the mobile pick up was a total fail.

Terry WCorporate customer service is a dismal disaster. 45 minute expected wait time on the phone, live chat personal didn't know how, were unwilling, or didn't have any authority to solve problems. They said I'll be right back and while waiting the chat timed out and ended, or they just cut me off. Three phone calls, four attempts at chat and five hours later I gave up. Local dealers are first rate. Equipment is excellent. Customer service is non existent.

MARK GI paid over 150 was told id get a refund because i didnt use some of the equipment. I filled the gas tank before i dropped it off and you charged another 80 dollars..ill necer use thos company again
