I had the most terrible renting experience renting this truck. The app is horribly wrong, slow and complicated. Took me more than 10 mins to understand this location does not have an office, another 10 mins to get the app working and another 20 mins on call with representative to get verified (after explaining twice the issue). The drop off was equally terrible, everything went smooth till the last step where i drop off the keys in the lockbox. This app decided to give me 5 seconds to read the instructions before it refreshed the app, and now i dont have the code for the lock box. I am waiting to be connected to a representative even as i am typing this review. Its been 15 mins since i called and no one is answering my call, i am waiting in the parking lot postponing all my things to do for the morning. I would never again rent a truck with uhaul nor recommend the 24/7 truck share to anyone i know unless i hate them. I feel like the money i paid for this abysmal service is totally not worth it.

It took about 10 minutes to find out who could help us get the key to the truck. We went inside and waited at the desk and no one came. I went around and had to hunt down the manager. Once we did, the person was helpful and we got on our way.

I got charged $15 for cleaning and I don't know what you needed to clean, and this was after I arrived to pick up the van I ordered that was not there which made me upgrade to a bigger vehicle.

The app was awful. The check in process was awful! I wish I was able to do all these other steps before coming to get the truck. It put me an hour behind in my move.

This is the worst experience I had, from the person that sent me to a location that has no office to the fact that it took me hours to understand what to do, stuck in the cold. Until my time lapsed. They had to extend the time. I cannot reckoned this to anyone.

I reserved a cargo van online and paid the additional $10 for insurance. When I arrived at the rental site, there was no cargo van. The owner of the site told me I must have ordered a truck. I asked to speak to customer service. I was handed a phone and man came on the line and said my rental was for a truck. I had a copy of the order - which was for a cargo van. They then proceeded to tell me that the word "van" and "truck" meant the same thing. I told them I would rent the truck for the same cost of the cargo van. The customer service rep refused. Because I had to pick up furniture at a specific time, I accepted the fact that customer service wouldn't honor the original order and that I needed to rent the truck. Both the customer service rep and the owner of the satellite location were bullies - not respectful to customers. The worse customer service received ever.

The online check-in process was slow and painful. I had to upload a picture of me 8 times for it to take. I had to upload my drivers license 6 times for it to take. The process of verifying my identity with someone else is absurd. All they did was ask "i'm verifying Scott's identity". I was very displeased with the online check-in process. The truck was great. No issues. But it took me 25 minutes to get the truck checked out.

The truck wreaked of cigarettes and di not run well at all. Shakes badly and vibrates, unlike any other medium-sized Uhaul I have rented in the past. Also, hate that these trucks never have cruise control. Pretty annoying on long trips on the highway.

To start, when the pick up location is changed actually contacting the customer to inform them number one and number two the manager of this location when I called refused to assist me with pick up and I had to have the manager of an entirely separate location help me figure out what information I needed to pick up my truck! Completely ridiculous!

They left me the keys to the wrong truck, didn't leave a dolly for me as requested, and it ended up being over an hour to resolve it.

The U-Haul didn't have the equipment I purchased in it. When I arrived I went in to the auto spa building to ask a question and the manager yelled it's on the phone we are not affiliated with U-Haul and told me to get out.

Things went well with the exception that the app didn't work. We had to call U-Haul who directed us to using the website instead. Would have been a wonderful experience if the app had worked. Because of the problems with the app it ended up taking almost an hour to pick up the truck.

Fully go over all of the rates and fees including mileage payments and what not. And possibly the gentlemen leasing your uhauls could make it seem like it's not a hassle to rent out a uhaul. Told me it was 29.99 and needed to re put gas in it. Nothing about a dolllar a mile. Either way, thanks for helping me with a truck to move. Appreciated overall I guess. Can always be worse. Enjoy your Sunday.

We originally had a reservation made ffor a different location, to pick up the uhaul, however, when we arrived we ran into a number of problems. First there was no one there that knew how to do uhaul rentals, secondly the two trailers that were there were not in working order. Also the person on site did not know what to do about the situation. We had to track a different uhaul down at a different location. When we picked that ine up it was very dirty and the lights did not work. So once again we had to go out of our way and drive 30km to another location to get them Also we werr told we had 5 days to reach our location, so when we went to drop it off and we were told that we owed a another 40 brcause we were late. Very very poor customer service, I WILL NEVER rent another uhaul after this experience.

The trailer light on the left side did not work because it was out of socket. The right side trailer lights stopped working a few hundred miles through the trip.

Interior of truck was quite dirty; spilt coffee etc. Employee didn't seem to know how to use booking system, resulted in it taking an hour to get the rental. Costs associated with not returning truck with same amount of fuel unreasonable. Far in excess of just the cost of the fuel at going rate.

The only U-Haul person did not show up. The owner of the taxi company came a half hour late and was annoyed at being called out. He did not know how to use the computer so I had to do this for him. Then my van was dirty inside and only had 1/4 tank of gas. It cost $175.00 to fill up even though my paperwork said it should have had 1/2 tank. I was not told that this roof had damage and that any water leakage/damage would not be U-Haul responsibility. I only found this out later when I read the fine print some 300 miles down the road. Fortunately there was not too much rain in the three days it took me to complete the trip. For travelling the Alaska Hwy. all trucks should have spare tires and jacks as there is over 335 miles between Watson Lk. and Ft. Nelson and many other parts that don't have cell phone service. You could be stuck for a couple of days waiting for help as the 1-800 emergency # would be of no value. Mechanically the truck ran perfectly and I had no tire problems even though it was down 2 litres of oil which I had to put in.

First of all the agent was not at the location at the time he told me to be there and i had to wait for him for halh hour. Then when he did show up he did' t know how to use computer and how to type. He also didn't know the process off issuing vehicle to customer. After waisting about another hour he called someone in booking office to get help. I'll never rent again from this location unless I have absolutely no other option.
