Need to be more clear where key drop box in relation to van parking spots in mobile gas station

I was given the option of counter service or self checkout. I ended up choosing counter Service and went into the gas station for Help and they told me that they weren't affiliated with U-Haul. The location was a self check out only and it took over 45 minutes from start to finish to actually get in the truck and head to my location. U-Haul should be more specific about what's happening at the location of these vehicles.

Honestly the uhaul app was a nightmare to deal with. Also the gas station attendant wasnt helpful at all. Someone finally came when I was almost done with the check in. Whole process was difficult.

The truck drove smoothly without any issues. However, it was unfortunate that someone left the rented clothes wet and in a pile. They were damp and had a slight odor. I laid them out in the back of the van to dry. Despite not being supervised, the truck was clean. The key process was a bit arduous having to drive back and forth to the key box and van but i guess that's for extra security. I was a bit worried about leaving my vehicle there but we are that familiar with the area and it was fine.

The owner was very nice - but so hard to reach bc of his phone? It constantly said call failed. I couldn't get in touch with him. His co-worker/co-owner was great - thank goodness he showed up. he cleaned off the snow from the van. They didn't have the dolly that I had reserved and that was really challenging bc I was on a time crunch. And when I went to the place in Nyac that he told me to go to the uhaul person wouldn't let me rent it without leaving a $100 deposit? Even though they had my card on file. He said he wasn't a part of that at all? And I would have to bring the dolly back to him? And then I had to call 2 other places to try to find a furniture dolly? The van was clean and easy to drive. It did not have a USB port - and I didn't have a full charger so that was frustrating. I guess Uhaul is trying to save money by not having places that are just about Uhaul but it was a super challenging to not have supplies or be able to get in touch. I was doing everything myself so that made it more challenging.

Fix your website. Why do i need to wait 20 minutes for approval after i get to the location. Cant this happen before? Why do i need references at all???

No one there. Blankets not provided as ordered. Not the location I reserved. App did not work properly . Miserable and made me late for movers

There's no parking at pick-up location. Representative said park in a lot down the street so not to get towed. Keys were in a lock box up another street. Representative was nice (over the phone), but I found this to be a tedious process. Only 1/4 tank in the truck. I gave truck back with over 1/2 tank. Expensive to have to do all this.
