As soon as opened the door I saw a stain on the inside back of the van so I took pics with my phone. Once I parked to load the van and reopened the back door I saw the stain was wet!… so it's leaking/running/coming from behind the divider behind the front seats. I put down newspaper to Not damage my boxes and walked round to the side door. I opened the side door and AN A WHOLE ARMY OF ROACHES SCATTERED IN EVERY DIRECTION! I had to purchase roach spray to try and prevent transferring y'all roaches into the venue.

It is 8/3/23 at 11:37 PM & I still have not received anything about my final bill, I turned my rental in before my designated time and still have not received anything and I believe she rented out the truck before she did my final paper work.

There was no compassion for me of my safety and they were closed so I couldn't ever get storage for days..so I couldn't return the truck with all my stuff on it but the lady at North Western was not professional and was only concern was telling to tell me I would be charged for the extra time I have the truck due to a State of emergency....

voncile procktorI decided to use the app to check in for my rental. When asked if the rental was clean, I answered no and provided 3 images of evidence clearly showing the dirt and sand inside the unit. I complete my check in and proceed to use the rental without a problem. When I return to the location to drop of the rental, I once again decide to use the app to complete the return. When asked whether or not the rental was clean enough for another family I responded no, as I had previously stated during the check in. Lo and behold when I arrive at the final confirmation screen, I see a $25 cleaning fee added to the final bill. I closed the app and completed the return with the location attendant. Why even bother asking me if the vehicle was clean during my check in process? Even with the images I provided, which were taken at the moment I started my rental, your automated system just charges the next costumer if they just answer no to the cleanliness question in the checkout process. This is a frankly dumb oversight. Why provide a service that does not work? Why ask me for information if it won't really matter when it's time to checkout? I appreciate the attendant being very understanding and assisting with the checkout process. I would highly recommend U-Haul review their in app check in and checkout applications to correct this inconsistency.
