-- When I picked up the truck opened the gate it was wet inside as it was leaking -- When I contracted the truck I have paid for 10 blankets, when I arrived to p/u non present. Was not notified of such until the morning of pick up, where I would have had time to get the truck from another location -- I have pre-paid the truck rental in the amount of 216,56 $ .---This included p/u on September 18th and return on September 21 Plus extra 40c for additional miles be paid at the time of drop off. -- the time of drop off, I was charged 3 additional days of 120 $in error + extra miles of 66 $++, charge totaling 184,44 $ -- the next day, I have contacted drop off location to dispute 120 $however he indicated that internally in his system it shows only 1 day rental and he can not do anything about it. -- soon after I have contacted U-Haul pick up location where the lady claimed that she can not help me as it is another U-Haul that charged me. I have asked for her manager to call me where she said she would call him ( his name is Spencer was told). Never received a call to resolve this issue. -- I have followed up again with p/u location and she told me she has nothing to do with this charge but she will again tell Spencer to call me and again no call to resolve this. Now I am out 120 $with U-haul not wanting to take responsibility to clear this up. For me it's unusual to need such a large truck. But for what all we had to move. With my storage unit 10 x 20. Plus few items out of my 10 x 10. It was well worth it. Just not easily available to me at the location where I'm buying my house and where my storage place is. Was almost 20 minute. Drive out of the way. But it was good with everything I had to get moved. Thank youCary C.

My original pickup location at Longbranch Rd. in Dahlonega was the problem. Pickup time was 10:00. Got there at 10:15 and the place wasn't open. I called and got an answering machine. I waited, in the lot for 30 minutes and nobody came to assist. I was able to get the trailer at another location, in Dahlonega, which was excellent. Unfortunate events happen all the time but there should be some contingencies in place to assist. There was nothing.Stan F.

The worst experience i have ever had with renting a u haul truck. First the original pick up location was changed due to unavailability of equipment. i was promised i was not going to be charged extra for an upgraded equipment which I DID. The associate failed to disclose additional fee for location drop off change. The day that i picked the equipment Saturday March 16th 9:00 AM the women that was at Oak Grove was clueless of what she was doing at her job. she was too overwhelmed and stressed about the other two people that were waiting and she was irritated at the process of us renting an equipment. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN BOTH LOCATIONS I WILL NEVER RENT A TRUCK FROM U-HAUL EVER AGAIN.Carl A.
I do not like the fact they made a photo copy of my credit card and driver license. They should shred it now that our business is over. I will have to cancel card and get new one. I had reserved a truck, two furniture dollys and an appliance dolly with a strap 2 days prior to when I needed it. When I got to the location they did not have two of my dollys there, I had to drive to another location down the road to retrieve those items. Work on the 24/7 on line rwservation. Big hassle. Would not let me rent truck truck while I was sitting next to it. Hour and a half with rep from traffic number and she could not override system even though I had reservation. I will not recommend to my friends to go on line.Pam W.

Keep your maintenance up to date on your trucks, so they don't break down on the side of the Interstate in 90 degree temperatures. Your rating is Poor because the truck broke down 175 miles North of our destination and had to be towed in.ERIC P.

Let the customer know the availability of the trucks at the pickup location during the reservation process. We reserved a 15' for a Dawsonville pickup location, only to be called the next day to let us know it wasn't available and we had to be relocated to another location 10 miles further away. They compensated us more mileage and the customer service rep was very apologetic and accommodating. Everything turned out fine. Just knowing in the beginning would have saved alot of time and trouble for all involved.DARYL B.
The folks at the pickup location were great. The problem occurred when we went to drop off the truck. We didn't select a drop off location and were given a phone number to call when we were ready to return the truck. We planned to return the truck in Marietta, GA so I called the number to confirm a location. The person I spoke with gave me a location across town but by this time it was rush hour. There was a UHaul dealer about a mile from my location but it was in Smyrna. GA which is adjacent to Marietta. Because of the close proximity to me and Marietta, I asked if I could take the truck there. The UHaul representative told me that would be fine. She had access to my contact so she could see the agreement to take the truck to Marietta but said the Smyrna location would be OK. Upon arriving at the Smyrna UHaul, I was told that I could leave the truck there but there would be a charge of 80-90 dollars for not going to a Marietta location. I was not happy! We left and headed across town. I called the number I was given to complain about not being told about the charges and got a different person. She told me that the first person I spoke with should have told me about the charges before I headed to Smyrna. She also found a closer location in Marietta so I wouldn't have so far to go. She was great but the first person I talked to messed up! Please let your representatives know that they have to look at the contract before giving bogus information and wasting customer's time. This was my first experience with UHaul so I wish everything had gone smoother.jim A.

The owner BB didn't secure my Sequoia correctly with the tie-down straps on the car hauler. When I got to my first stop, the passenger side front tire was completely unstrapped. The strap was laying on the car hauler. I would expect that an owner would know how to correctly tie-down a vehicle for cross-country transport.
