This was a bar, and although I approached bar tending staff, no one came out to give me instructions on where to park the trailer. There were no other trailers in the area. Not a bad location, but just a confusing one.

First of all I had booked to pick up the U-Haul in Winnipeg as that was the closest place for pickup. 2: the location for pickup changed 3 times within 5 hours which made me waste a lot of my time. 3: it wasn't a15ft vehicle which I had picked and confirmed the previous day but a 10ft unit only and the vehicle was dirty both inside and outside and wasn't filled up, 4: costumer service very poor, had to redo everything I already had done at home when booking the U-Haul. When I mentioned the vehicle isn't what I booked, dirty, not filled up nor the size I needed, not even the location I wanted to pick it up they said they didn't have time to clean nor fill up the vehicle. They told me I could just drop it off as is, not even worry about putting gas in when bringing back to U-Haul and told me I was good to go after I had signed their policy and paid. 5: when dropping off the U-Haul location decided employee asked me for the paperwork they gave me, I asked, what paperwork? He said the contract they gave you. I told him I never got any paperwork. All they sent per email was the policy agreement I signed and the receipt of the amount I paid. He than asked, what would you have done if you had ran into an accident while being on the road for 22 hours with this vehicle? My only answer to that is, that would've been the soonest moment I found out about U-Haul terrible customer service. I'm just grateful no accident happened and I would never recommend U-Haul to anybody. They've charged me way too much for this experience. My friend, go find a different company to rent a unit for moving. U-Haul offers you lots stress only.

Lee TAll was good, except I wasn't told there was an email with a link to follow to note the condition and any concerns with the truck to complete before leaving. Also, the truck on the outside especially was filthy. I had to clean my mirrors Toni's them.

kevin wI was still getting calls that the u haul had not been returned until February 28, 2024. It was simple for me to drop off but not very impressed by the process and getting calls thinking my credit card might be charged
Todd PThe person I dealt with was excellent. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The truck's exterior windshield weatherstripping and trim badly pulled away on the top corner on the driver's side. It had been duct taped to try to hold it in place some time ago but the tape was ripped and rotting and ineffective. The truck was otherwise clean, well maintained and handled well.

Peter LIt all started when I made my reservation days in advance for 48 hours. On the day of I called to make sure we were all good, to my surprise I was told my reservation was for 12 hours only. I had to speak to a manager who thankfully worked something out but I had to drive to another town to get the Uhaul, I was content at this point. Once we arrived, the person who was helping us get set up with the uhaul had no idea what they were doing. They would ask us one question then go to the back, then ask us another question and then go to the back for 3 minutes. They would come back ask a single question then disappear to the back for another several minutes. They didn't know if the uhaul was in miles or kilometres and they had no idea what 'safe trip' insurance was or what it covered. They just suggested we get it just to get it. The Uhaul itself had duct tape at the top of the windshield and there was no record of it on file, which made us nervous about returning it. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone I know.
Hannah lThe call in for drop off the man was rude abruptly told me to take it to Blackfoot trail . Once at that location I was told by the young guy that I might not be able to drop it off as I had driven 13 hours and had no parking downtown this was not an option I found it even more interesting when the young guy stopped me in mid sentence and said you listen to me!! Wtf I listened because I needed to set up a place in a new city and needed the Uhaul parked . Not sure who runs your depots but I will never rent from you again that I assure you. The unloading guy from royal movers in Calgary was awesome Danny made you guys look good today but that is about it.

Barb SMy only problem was with the self check-in. The website couldn't verify the location. But the staff were friendly and quickly looked after me.
Brian ATruck was 7 hrs lavate. I had to go to a different location to get it. Ihad to drive to a town 30 miles away to pick up the trailer which was supposed to be with the truck. If there was any other option than uhaul I would use it.
