GREGORY SZYMANSKII have used u haul before, for the past five or six moves around the tri state area, as we relocate often for work - sadly I think this will be my last time. Our rental location was moved to another location much farther away and when we arrived at 11am to pickup our truck, no one was there - we called multiple times and were told "it's 11:01 so we're closed." This was never communicated to us, and should have been after we were moved to a new location. We then sat outside in the cold for an hour trying to figure out the mobile check in system. Which was not working - as the area had poor service. Overall, one of the worst experiences I've had
Brendan CarrollThe rental went perfectly. The only thing I want to note is I wish the U-Haul was given to me with a full tank of gas and not a half tank. It is hard to put exactly a half tank of gas back into a vehicle. Also, my receipt states that I returned the vehicle at 8pm. This is untrue- I returned the vehicle at 6pm. I did not notice a difference in price so I will not be contacting in regards to this matter.

Fabian AristizabalWasnt explicitly told on sign up that i would have to return the truck back to the main location. I wasted a lot of money on mileage. I thought I would be able to pick up and drop at another u-haul location. Next time Im going with Penske

EVERTON SMITHWhen I used the app at location, it couldn't find me. Took 45 minutes to pickup the truck, when it should have taken 7 minutes. It kept telling me I was not at the right location, but I was.
Mary MorrisVery difficult to use app and check out and in the vehicle. Never really tells you what to do with the key when done. Good thing I remembered the code to open the lock box back open to put the key in. Shady guy working at the BP gas station where truck was kept telling me to give him the key, that wasn't going to happen. It's been almost a week and I still haven't received a bill by email. Would like one.

Dino DeGregorioU-Haul rates are not clear. The additional charges should be more transparent. The online return is very cumbersome. especially in this area where internet is very slow. When I did the online return, the final amount due had double the rental charge and CDW. Although the actual charges were eventually correct, this is very aggravating.

Bruce NobleReturning the truck is a nightmare! The app does not work. You can't get anyone on the text through the website. It took almost an hour to get someone on the phone. This is my second time, and it was like this the first time as well. Terrible!

DANIEL BROZINAThe person who was there when I dropped off wanted nothing to do with me and referred me to the key drop. There was also a bunch of confusion about which location to drop the truck and I was overcharged for 2 days. I was told and it was noted that we would not be charged extra days, per Brandy at the original drop off location.
John RavenelleLocation and people were great. There was an issue with the lock box (box open with no keys inside), but after 45 minutes waiting for staff to arrive location we were able to figure the issue out and get our keys.

David GrayOur initial reservation was to pick up in East Brunswick NJ but then we received an email saying to pick up in Brick NJ which was over an hour away. This was very inconvenient for us but we did it. I feel that it should be up to U-haul to get the equipment to the customer and not up to the customer.
