Office was gross and it looked really sketchy. I was not made aware the there would be a $50 late fee if I dropped it off after the estimated time. I assumed 5 hours would suffice but I was wrong. When I called the office to inform them I would be later, nothing was mentioned either. Probably go to a different location next time.

this guy BENJAMIN ARCAMO is such a liar. My name is Bud and I am the only one who works here at Halawa Uhaul. He came in asking me why I shortened his time, I told him i didnt and I am the only one who works here, but sometimes Corporate Traffic will arrange some things to squeeze in another customer. But theres only 3 people who work at the corporate traffic and they are all woman but Ben said "HE" it wasnt me and theres no "he" in traffic nothing was wrong with his rental. But he didnt put fuel, parked overhanging in our neighbors driveway which our neighbors hates when this happens and always calls the police on us, and also he left his water bottle in the truck and rocks on the floor so he didnt clean the truck. He said he got penalized for late and truck bed was dirty. No, he didnt pay late fee and no truck bed was clean. These pictures were taken in my opinion there is nothing worse then someone who changes the story to make someone look bad. And nothing is worse then one who cant admit theyre wrong

I reserved a uhaul truck on 12/28, from 9-1 on this date. Before arriving to the office, I received a phone call and advising me my rental time was change. The agent told me my time was change to 9-12. I told him that was not ok with me. He stated that there was a customer waiting got the truck at 1200, and I told him I was already renting the truck from 9-1. He mumbled something and gave me the keys for the truck and told me check the truck for damages? I return the vehicle at 1230 hrs due to traffic at the Ewa Trash site. I still was in my time I rented the truck, and I should not be penalized. Returning the truck across from the Uhaul building, I parked the truck behind the no parking sign and there should not have any violation. Unless the back of the truck bed was dirty, I should not be charge for a cleaning fee. Pleas have a are's supervisor look into this matter.

Street parking only at this location. Was kind of hard to find parking for my personal vehicle as well as for return of uhaul vehicle. Other than that customer service at this location was excellent. The uhaul agent was very nice and answered all my questions. Uhaul truck was clean and dependable.

THIS GUY RICHARD GALBIERZ WHO JUST LEFT A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK IS A COMPLETE LIAR. My name is Bud and I am the one who helped him with his rental. I handled his issue right away and we had a new truck out to him in less then 30 minutes delivered. We didnt charge him mileage on the old rental and also didnt charge mileage on the delivery, out of the maybe 50 miles total he only paid for 12 miles. which is equivalent to about $45 discount. He didnt put fuel for the 12 miles he used which was about 12 dollars which every one is required to do and he complained about that and said we did nothing to help him. we gave him an approximate $45 discount for not charging him the miles he used. COMPLETE LIAR

I am frustrated with the customer service I received from this location. While driving the Uhaul the vehicle lost stability while braking. I reported the vehicle a unsafe to drive. They towed the vehicle away gave a new uhaul. At the end they charged for the gas and made no effort to right the dangerous conditions of the vehicle. Never using this location again

I'm very sensitive to smell. First van didn't smell too good so brought it back. Bud took care of the situation and had absolutely no problem exchanging The van for another one to make me happy. He was very professional and efficient. Excellent worker handling everything on his own. Very satisfied. Will rent from that uhaul again.

Parking, but that is really out of your control. This is the third time in three years that I have used this U-Haul location, and I would not even consider using the one closer to me, because they are just that good!

Needs better parking for that specific location. It's difficult to find a parking spot to return the vehicle. There's only street parking, and it's full because of other businesses nearby. Can't Uhaul get a separate building with parking for it's fleet of vehicles with a fence?

They should fix the location because it's inside a shop and gate is always closed because of a guard dog..and they should have own parking not on the street coz it's hard sometimes and they will charge you for parking illegally..

excellent service, came on a saturday and there was a line but the young man there handled it well and multi tasked so everyone was out on the road efficiently.

Inspect all vehicles for equipment you "assume" is in the trucks. We got a phone call accusing us of not returning a dolly and furniture pads. When I call to say we didn't have those items and it was not in the truck I got a rude response. When I asked Buddy why didn't you tell me to check for those items and Buddy states "You don't have to check each vehicle, it comes with ALL of our trucks. I clean out each and every truck at it is always there." I told him that he had told us when we picked up the truck "this truck just came in" and maybe that when the truck came in there were not those items in the truck. After I keep on insisting it was not there he responded by saying "well let me make some calls." He later called to apologize stating "we just got this truck in that day and you were right those items were not in the truck." UM YES I told you that to begin with. Do your research before you assume someone just took it!

This place was ghetto and hard to find and you had to park everything on the street. Not near a gas station and on a hill so it made it look like you used more gas than you did. I would recommend using any other location than this one.

Buddy has went above and beyond to help us get the truck on the day we needed it. He kept me posted and did everything he could so we could get a truck. He stayed and work late hours and also went in to work on his day off just to provide the best customer service ever! That is what you call a great employee! His boss should be proud of such a dedicated worker although he didn't care to be paid for the day he went in to work he deserves to be paid! A worker who cares about providing a great service and going above and beyond for their customers should be valued!

One of the worst experiences of my life. The young man that worked there was rude, and quite frankly a liar. Everyone else there was ok but this guy was the worst. He wanted to charge me $25 cleaning fee for a spotless truck. I will never, ever, ever use uhaul again!!! Ever!!

On the website, it says this location is open until 5pm. I dropped the vehicle back off before 4pm. There was no one there. So I dropped it off via online app. And now I'm being charged for 2 gallons of gas. I took all the necessary pictures and even included the receipt for the gas I purchased for the truck. Terrible service!

The employee was beyond rude. My husbands friend took him over there and they decided to leave his vehicle. He parked facing the wrong direction on the street however that is legal in the state of Hawaii. The employee called my cell phone and starts yelling at me and cussing and telling me what an idiot my husband is and that he supposedly stopped a police Officer from giving him a ticket. Didn't let me get a word in at all. Told me to get over there and move it immediately. So we dropped everything and ran over there which isn't a simple task in the middle of moving homes. My friend looked up the law on the way over to confirm he was correct in parking. There was no one even there when we arrived. It was all locked up and no one for us to speak to. My husband said the employee apologized for the voicemail when my husband took the truck back later. However it was not a voicemail and regardless of laws or anyone's personal opinions, no one deserves to be yelled at and treated the way I was. I was not even involved in the pick up or drop off and this man berated me and belittled my husband when it wasn't either of us that parked nor was it illegal. I will absolutely never use this location ever again and I highly recommend someone teach this employee how to speak to customers because that was beyond inappropriate. The vehicle itself was fine and worked well. But the customer service was the worst I've ever seen. Then I received a call today, 2 days later, from a woman employee asking if we had returned the truck. Obviously there is a big mess going on here if they can't even find their own truck. Especially since my husband returned it to the exact spot he'd driven it from and personally handed the keys to the rude employee.

They told me that they would send me a receipt later. I asked how much it would be and he would not give me an answer. Come to find out he charges me for 75 miles when I went 39 miles. Then charge me for 20 gallons when I didn't use nearly that much. Would not recommend to anyone.

My invoice showed an end mileage number that was incorrect and so I was overcharged. I emailed about the error immediately after I received the invoice via email. That was this past Saturday and it is now Tuesday afternoon and I have not received a response yet. I'm at work when they are open so email would be best for me. I even used the email address that they directed me to contact if I had any issues with my invoice. Please have someone respond to me so that I am not overcharged! The cashier was rude. The location looked and felt like a junkyard. The dolley we rented was fine, seemed to be on the newer side.
