The staff was nice, but I declined the insurance online. It was not mentioned/I was not asked if I wanted it at the location, but when I returned the trailer, I noticed it had been added to my reservation. It should not have been added without my consent.
Erik HOnce we made our way to Ohana Gardening, everything was great. Before that, U Haul kept changing our pick-up locations. We had three different pick-up locations (one in Newberg instead of McMinnville). If I had not called a head of our pick up day, we would not have been able to get a truck. One of the pick up locations was closed before and during the weekend and would not have had a truck ready for us. Another location was not a self pick-up location so they didn't have the ability to leave a truck and keys for anyone. Finally, we ended up with Ohana Gardening. They were there. They had everything ready. And they made those arrangements at the last minute.

Michael SI feel I was charged extra money for things that seemed minimal. I returned the vehicle early with the key and was told that will be an extra charge...... I assume I would get money back gor the days I didn't use it and never had it . I was also charged extra money because I was told they found a sock ..... I paid 100 upfront the charged an extra 45 for early return and a cleaning fee for a sock .... I paid 160 something dollars for using it for less then a day and and maybe 45 miles at the most . I gave it back the way I picked it up + 1 sock and early at that and was charged extra. It feels like I've been had a little bit .

Mark SPicked up with the self service app at 7:30 am. Everything was going good until I was required to give 2 other peoples names and numbers to continue with the check in process. Was not told I had to do that and got very upset that was a requirement after filling out all online questions. This pick up location had a nice paved parking lot to leave the truck in but had it parked in a muddy lot next door and had to walk all the way around and through the muddy lot Twice to get the number off the truck and then walk back again with the key.. Opened the driver side door and there was a cigarette butt right on the dirty side floor panel. Got into the truck and all the trays for putting your stuff in had cigarette burns in them. Had a long day ahead and wasted to much time getting this truck! Ugg. Truck ran great and was a pleasure to drive. Bottom line was the truck was great but rental process was not Great at all!!!!!!!

Brad PEarlier opening hours would be great. For a weekend moving project, not being able to pick up until 10am is somewhat limiting.

Eric GFurniture pads were missing, we were given the wrong keys, and received calls that the truck was never returned and they were going to begin the process of recovery although we did it on the app at 11 pm the night before. The location opens at 10am. That should be taken into account before calling customers. Also, when U-haul was contacted to let them know we were given the wrong keys, the rep told me that the location would be following up with me the next on this matter. I never received that call.
Ivonne YI did everything on my phone. I never received a receipt. It said it would email it but it didn't.
Steve CIt took over an hour for the app to work at this location and you have to walk 1/2 a mile around fencing to get the keys or drop them off! Worst experience I've ever had with rental!

ERIC QThe guy at the drop off location seemed kinda stringent and was griping about the gas tank was was 1/16 below where it was to be filled. Really?? I mean ralkmabout nickel and diming. Location was not impressive and overall not great. Oh well. We got the truck returned in time and it was a done deal.

ROLAND KI dropped off the truck before they opened for the day. As instructed I tried to use the uhaul app / website to check in, however again it crashed during use. I was not able to complete the online check in process. Thankfully the location rep, who I spoke to the day before, said that was pretty common, and that if I call or leave a voicemail, they would complete the check in for me when they arrived at work, which they did. I still took a ton of pictures and saved them to my phone, just in case. Also the instructions for how much fuel to add before returning were way off. I followed the instructions to get the fuel level back to 7/8, however then done pumping it showed well over full. I could have saved around $25 if the recommended amount of fuel was more accurate. This is not the fault of the drop off location, but rather the uhaul computer system that calculates how much fuel to add. Overall I would give uhaul 4 of 5 stars. The only real issue I had with uhaul was their website / app.
