Doing the reservation online mostly works but it's tedious working through all the items (no I don't want tape/boxes/etc but I guess it might prompt some others). The process was easy and the staff were helpful. The van was new and very clean.

Roxann cMy original online reservation was for a different location. As per my online order reservation, I arrived at 9 am on Saturday morning only to find that they did not have any trucks. The guy at that location said it's Uhaul's fault, and call the 800 number. He was not going to give me the time of day. I was in a panic as I had a move time reserved. I called the 800 number, and they directed me to this location about a 40 minute drive from where I was. I went there, and the lady who served me was great and was able to get me on the road promptly. So it all worked out, but a really bad experience for the online reservation and the original location that I had selected. I would not recommend using the Meaford/Alex's Gas Bar for the poor service.
Risto ATires have weather cracks in tread, if someone rent trailer gets stopped by cops or MTO they probably would make people park trailer ! Local ok but not for a long run !!

Katie PThis is not a reflection on the location we rented from The dealer was great to us…BUT…U-Haul failed us The original dealer rented out the trailer we had reserved three days prior the alternate dealer we contacted a 4 pm on Saturday said he could not honour our reservation till the following Monday When we finally got this dealer on the Sunday she was great but the computer system froze and we were charged three time for the rental ..again not her fault and finally the lights on the trailer were intermittent based upon moisture exposure the ground wire was exposed so All in all U-Haul failed miserably here

Kevin LProvide Snow tires ! Driving in winter without snow tires here is dangerous !
Brian WThe staff were EXCELLENT, kind compassionate and helpful . HOWEVER it is a huge risk to U-HAUL to neither inform customers that you do not put winter tires on your vehicles, and to expect them to be able to drive the vehicle safely in winter. This is an organizational risk, as well as a customer risk. I got stuck several times, and was lucky for the kindness of strangers who helped pull me out of these situations. I can only imagine the potential damage to vehicles and to individuals and potential lives by not making a corporate decision to put winter tires on your vehicles, and ensure the safety of your customers and the public.

JOSEPH OThe truck we had was not running properly. It was loud and chugged along. The engine was really rough. A wrench light came on constantly on the dash and at one time it kept shuddering.
Roxann cSo I have booked with Uhaul multiple times and with great disappointment I have to call the company out for their disappointing service. What's funny is everytime I have booked the equipments never have they been able to fulfill my request I have to waste my time to reach out to customer execs to get a refund. Imagine doing it 4 times over after your hectic move in process which was made hectic due to the company's inexcusable poor service. Do you guys any idea how not being able to have the tools required to do a move in feels like. Just imagine picking up the truck in the middle of the night and then having to wander hopelessly for a dolly in the middle of the night with all the other alternative sources of obtaining dollies are non existent. Further you potentially risk your health and running late on the schedule for the move in. Despite wanting g to pay a million bucks for a dolly at that point in time you still can't get it because of a company's poor work ethics and oversights. I believe in karma and reallly do hope for one of the companys employees to go through my pain and frustration while choosing to do book their rental truck using the most 'reliable' rental trucks company. And then finally the audacity the company has to ask for feedback as if they have done their due diligence. I can go on about everything that went wrong after trusting your company but not anymore. This was the last straw and I am putting my foot down to never do business with this company. Let this be the cheapest option in the market but I promise to never ever fall trap to the empty promises this company makes.

shawn hThe truck was dirty inside. Dusty, dirt on the floor and 2 pop cans in the cab. In my opinion the vehicle should always come with a full tank of fuel. Most importantly the app is crap. I filled out all personal and payment info before I went to pick up the truck. When I picked up the truck I had to do it all over again. Waste of my time!!! It took almost an hour to pick up the truck. Also it was pitch black outside (NO LIGHTING) and you expect us to take pictures of the truck? WTF. Also very dangerous doing this in the dark.

The truck was clean and was a pleasure to drive and allowed our group to complete our task with safety, comfort and ease. I have used this site for my rentals in the past and they are always on top of meeting our needs. Thank you staff for your work.

Anthony SDue to an unexpected problem, the trailer we ordered was unavailable. We were able to rent a van though. The staff were good, but my advice to U-Haul is that they check the location you are registered at because due to unavailability they booked us a trailer at least an hours drive away! Not acceptable. We have used this location before and no trouble.

melody hFix the phone system. Perhaps a backup cell phone that can be called when the main number is not working. It was frustrating not to be able to call to confirm availability.
Ray PTwo small led lights were not working. The mechanization to raise and lower the trailer was not working very well. When I got to my destination, the mechanization had seized up and caused a delay to unhook the trailer.
PIERRE GAlthough the truck broke down, they went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of
Randy DTruck was in very poor condition, steering wheel shook if driving over 50km/h and sounds like it has a large exhaust leak. It is a good thing we only needed to go approx. 10km. This truck was not safe for the road and should be taken out of service before the next customer finds themselves in trouble...
