Rented a truck for 2 hours and then trailer for one way. Did find with the trailer that whomever had used pop rivet gun to fix a piece of cable tray had left them not quite tight. Ended up having to use 2 cable ties to keep it from causing a rattle. Debbie was excellent to work with.Rodney B.

The lady operating this facility had a less than warm reception. According to the signs she had been dealing with covid and was not letting anybody in unless they had a mask. When I asked for a mask she curtly told me they had stopped offering them over a year ago. She then told me to just drop my key off in the box and she would handle the rest.Steven S.

The online check in is very frail and difficult to use. Once the code is finally issued, it's quite easy to get on the road. Deborah at this location is amazing and has first class equipment and service. Just the online portions managed by Uhaul need to be streamlined.Robert L.

Although the location was closed when I dropped off the vehicle my experience with the owner over the phone was the complete opposite of the pick up location. I phoned ahead of drop off to inquire if they had any specific instructions and even though the owner seemed overwhelmed with work she took the time to answer my questions. This owner was fantastic , she explained exactly what to do which made for a seamless drop off. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of a reinstall.Scott G.

I ordered a 15 foot truck and was given and charged for a 20 foot truck without any notice. U-Haul was supposed to refund the difference but I have received no return calls. It was a long distance move and the windshield wiper blade was defective on driver's side and we had to stop mid trip, find an auto store and replace it.lynn B.

We have rented multiple times from this location and w have found the rental agent rude and very abrasive. The agent also makes the check out process very long and complicated even though we've filled out the necessary information online. We will look for another location to rent from.David S.

Although the O'Hanlon's Service and Repair location in Harrisonburg was fine, I have a major problem with the fact that I originally reserved to pick up my rental and purchases at Sours Automotive in Stuarts Draft almost a month in advance and then less than 2 days before my scheduled pick up (10:30pm on 5/1/22) I got an email telling me that my rental had been moved to Crozet (which is significantly further away). I replied using the link that this did not work for me but did not hear back until around 3:30pm the day before my pick up and was told in a voice message that I only had until 5pm to call back to resolve the problem. And then when I called I was told that the Crozet location did not actually open until 11am and not 9am like was stated in the email I received. Thankfully the person I spoke with on the phone was able to find the Harrisonburg location for me which worked better than Crozet and opened at a reasonable time, but I was not able to pick up the mattress cover that I had already purchased there. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company to treat its customers in this manner. A move is already such a huge headache, so stressful and expensive without being yanked around last minute do solely to the incompetency of U-Haul and they way you run your company. I will NEVER EVER use U-Haul ever again and I will tell everyone I know for the rest of my life how piss-poor this company is run. You think you can continue to be successful based on name-recognition alone? Forget about it. This is literally the worst experience I have ever had as a customer of any company of any kind ever, hands down. I hope this company goes bankrupt and disappears. Completely useless.Charles H.

Although the shopping center has a well marked location for U-Haul. It kind of just dropped me off in the middle of the shopping center. I parked the trailer next to 2 other U-Hauls which seem like the right thing to do. I did not know that the trailer had to be put behind the building which isn't intuitive at 7pm at night. As a result I got charged and extra $45 to move the trailer. Also, I couldn't get a cell phone connection at the location. It took me probably 30 minutes to use the U-Haul application to complete my return. After driving 6 hours and being in heavy rain most of the way that was a frustrating end to the trip.Jeffrey H.

I was asked to park the truck in the exact space I pulled it out of. I could not remember the exact space, maybe the parking spaces could be numbered. Very small detail but it's the only improvement I could think of so I'd say they are doing pretty well!jeff J.
