It took 5 days for the equipment to show returned by U-Haul. Probably another U-Haul problem and not the site.

Jonathan ITruck I reserved was not available when I got there with my reservation confirmation. Person at store called previous renter who said he would bring it in 20 minutes. ( He was past his drop off time). we waited and he arrived 1 1/2 hours later. Truck was not clean in cabin. (food and spilled drinks in cup holders). We had to clean it ourselves before we left. Truick shook hard the entire 18 hour drive, Timing belt squealed the entire time, Check engine light came on during the first part of the trip for about 2 hours and then went off. A tire blew out half way into our trip and we had to have it replaced on a shoulder of a busy interstate , which was dangerous and unsafe and that put us back 3 hours. This blow tire was bald and shouldve been replaced prior to us getting this vehicle. the trip was a total disaster and we feel like we were ripped off since we payed $2800 to rent this broken down truck. We should be reimbursed for this vehicle , it was such a nerve racking drive.
Julie HWhen I picked up the van, I was told it was on a half tank of gas. The van actually had a quarter tank of gas. The vans brakes barely worked. The vehicle was bucking while braking. I felt extremely unsafe. I stressed these issues to this location upon return and was just told "ok" without any concern for the vans issues or my safety. Will absolutely never use again.
brittany sRough part of town my wife was hit up for money from a person in the parking lot. I was met at the door asked if your turning in a U-haul. Do you have the key? Handed the person the key and he closed and locked the door. Strange experience.
Michael PService, if you want to call it that, was Horrible! Trailer returned 8/8/22, location (5501 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO) did not confirm receipt until 8/11/22 and not until I had to go back to location personally to get confirmation since customer rep (Julie) was calling asking why trailer hadn't been returned and had not been able to confirm with location that it had been returned after our initial discussion. When I went back gentlemen at location was extremely rude when I asked why he hadn't entered the receipt confirmation. He said he would get to it, I asked him to do it while I was still there since he had forgotten on 8/8 and I was leaving town that day, he refused got upset and after a short heated exchange told me to "get the f#%k out of his store". I left and immediately contacted Uhaul customer rep (Julie, who was very helpful) to advise her of the incident. Plans were for me to leave down at 8:00am that day, the incident set back 4,5 hour. My family and I have used Uhaul for our moving needs for years and have never experienced anything like this. This location is not a good look for Uhaul. Extremely Disappointed.

Keith FThis was just a place to drop a truck. Not a real UHaul store. It's a fireworks store. The UHaul representative was not there when I dropped the truck a day early so it didn't get checked in for 5 hours and I was nervous but it all went fine!
MARY WLooks like U-Haul is one of their side hustles, not a priority. Had to wait for the gentleman to show up, then go through the rigamarole of uploading photos of licenses etc. before even getting to the trailer. Polite and apologetic, but not a place that I would rent from again.
Cory CThis entire uhaul experience was terrible! My pick up location was changed. My pick up time was 9:00 am the truck was there but I was unable to take it until almost 9:40. The gas tank was only full to 5/8. I spent $65 on gas and returned it at 3/4 tank. I just found out from an email with new receipt that I was charged another $44 dollars to fill the tank. U Haul sucks but there are not many other options out there. TERRIBLE YOU CAN CALL ME. 3035233740

Richard TThe customer service was excellent but the location was not appropriate for a woman alone. I had my son stay with me. No description or sign that was visible that it was Uhaul, bars on the door as it was a convenience store, trailer park, garbage, chain link fence, non descript garage with no entrance. You guys really need to pay attention. I asked for the truck to be close to my zip code and selected the right location when reserving. You gave me a 30 minute drive to an unsafe location so I not only took up miles but gas to get it back to my home. Why ask for a preferred location when you're going to randomly give one?

Zackary CThe mobile check for the 24 hour pick up was slow and inconvenient, I had to scan and take a picture of my license multiple times before it accepted it and when I finally was given instructions on how to get my key the code that was provided didn't work. I had to enter it into the lock over 10 times in the freezing cold before it finally unlocked. When I tried to call for assistance I was on hold for almost 20 minutes. I also was unable to re lock it. I recommend getting better locks.

Mara EIt took over 2 days to get written (email) confirmation from this location that I returned the trailer on time and in good order. Ridiculous. Satellite location personnel that don't work directly for U-haul don't care and are not helpful.

The idiot that put the 4x8 trailer on my new 2020 jeep tore off my rare bumper (see pics) not only that, the trailer swung me around on glenwood canyon in colorado almost throwing me off the mountain because it was not attached correctly, the clamp at the bottom that secures it was not all the way up and rubbing on my bumper and it tore it off, that allowed the trailer to unhitch rolling backwards on the canyon in a one lane where not only my life was in dange, but everyone driving behind me as well. CDOT (colorado department of transportation) came to help us and put the Uhaul trailer on the jeep correctly! In addition, they messed up our one month free storage reservation and the other idiot at the front desk was so rude and slow and the general manger was in the back of the store and didn't even want to come talk to us because he didn't want the liability. We were given the wrong info that made us back in and out of 2 locations just to end up back at the first location where they should have set us up the right way, the first time. I will never use Uhaul again, such a shitty job and people that only care about money and don't know what they're doing! NEVER USING THIS COMPANY
Lana SNo one was there who worked with the U-Hauls. My daughter almost lost the trailer on the sloped parking lot trying to unhitch it herself. They wrote down my information on a scrap of paper, which made me nervous that the information would be lost.

Brennen LI had to pick up the truck and car carrier in two different locations. My reservation was changed for the car carrier an hour before the designated pick up time. I had to wait for over 10 minutes for the store attendant to close up the store to help me. He brought me into his office to sign paperwork and his office was disgustingly dirty. Extremely disappointed in my experience since I had a very large U-haul location with tons of trucks and carriers parked out front less than a mile from my home. I had to go all over town to pick up my equipment.

Steve SVery disappointed in U-Haul. I made a reservation online a few days in advance, did the online check in and paid in full upfront. 5 minutes before my scheduled pick up time, I receive a call from a U-Haul location that said they don't have the trailer I reserved. And in fact, don't have any trailers for me. I decided to stop in the location to talk in person. When I arrived, the clerk was not aware of my reservation. Turns out, the call I received was from a different location that my reservation was transferred to (15 miles away). No one ever called me the day prior to let me know this. Nevertheless, they had no trailers. The closest trailers around were a 2 hour round trip. Then about 30 min later, I received a call saying there was a trailer 45 min away. So I ended up doing that. Extremely poor communication (never told me that my reservation was moved 15 miles away) and the fact I paid upfront and checked in and there was no trailer to be had except a 2 hour round trip. Unbelievable! I only use U-Haul when there is no other option.

Michelle Gpoor communication. reserved 2 1/2 weeks in advance for car carrier going one way. when arrived to pick up, they did not have. no warning ahead of time. also charged credit card @ $700 depsit, saying if dropped before 5 days, would get credit on cc. turned out not true. had electronic brake system installed at same location several years ago that was not checked after completion that locked up trailer brakes ruining $1200 (4 large 235,s)worth of tires. answer was "too bad for you", but replaced faulty brake system. $400 brake system ended up costing $1200 for tires & $400 for brake pads. double axle trailer
tim tThe location is a fireworks dealer/convenience store with a small Uhaul operation. I walked in right at opening and was out with the trailer within five minutes, having taken care of most of the check-in online. I can recommend this location for fast, friendly service. Merci.
