Send them somewhere else. The truck was not cleaned, the whole process to rent the vehicle using the app was a nightmare. Took an hour and a half to rent a truck and get out of there. Never again.

I had paid for 6 moving sheets and when I brought the truck home the sheets were not there. I had to drive the truck back to the location which added miles to what I was charged for. This should not have been required to be paid for by the customer because it was not the customer who was at fault.

I originally set this rental to be pickup using the online feature. I am so disappointed with this. It was a total failure. So I went to the laundromat and the lady at the counter was extremely helpful. A+ to the laundromat customer service, and F to the Uhaul online pickup feature!

It’ was the worst experience I have ever had. At pick up there was nobody o could speak to that spoke English. There was no understanding about anything at all. I have used U-Haul all different occasions never had these issues at all.................

Your customer phone reservations are terrible. I called and reserved a car trailer on 1/4/19 and the customer rep put down that I’d pick up the trailer at 12 when I told her that I worked until 3pm. This resulted in my reservation being canceled because I didn’t show up at 12. I spent over an hour trying to find another one, driving further to pick it up not the mention the frustration. I’d like to be compensated for this, for my frustration and time and extra ravel that I had to endure. The rep at the Livingston St dealer was arrogant and not helpful at all after he gave my reservation away. But the Place where I ended up at was great.

The 10' truck I rented had a ticking sound from the engine. About 20 miles into our trip the oil pressure light came on and the oil pressure gauge read zero. I had to pull over to a gas station and put 4 quarts of oil in. The dipstick was dry as a bone. When I returned the truck from the location I rented it from there was a sign to go to the resterraunt that shared the location. The worker I returned the key to said she could not help me. Horrible equipment, horrible customer service. Will never rent from here again.

It would be nice to let the customer know up front when reserving online that a hold on their card will be charged regardless of payment made separately. My card was charged AFTER vehicle was rented, used, and returned almost a week earlier which, not having a lot of cash, caused an overdraft on my bank account that I got hit with which I'm sure U-Haul will not be reimbursing me for which I'm also not happy about. I will not be reserving any vehicles online going forward. If I need one I might walk into an actual place, if not a competitor.

Rented the truck through the U-Haul app. Picked it up at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The app didn't work for check in, so the person at the location did it on his computer. He proceeded to put one plastic bag of blankets in the truck. There were only 6 blankets in the bag, and I had ordered 12. This was discovered the next morning. About 7:30 AM on Saturday the person at the branch called me and said I needed to return the truck, he had rented it to someone else. I told him I had rented it for 24 hrs, and was just beginning to use it. I finished with the truck and returned it to the pickup location at 12:30 PM Saturday afternoon. No one was at the location to check me in, so I tried the u-haul app again, and it still did not work. I called the customer service line to let them know I had returned the truck and had only received 6 blankets instead of 12. They said they would note my record. When I received my bill, I was charged for 2 days of truck usage, and 12 blankets. I called u-haul to tell them about the problem and they said they would look into it. There was nothing on my record about my call to customer service. I'm still waiting on reimbursement from u-haul. I'm very disappointed with their service, the app, and this location. I would recommend renting from another place, or even another rental agency.

First you should notify the customer at least 8 hours before pick up that the pick up location had changed, not 1 hour before. Also you should have your maintenance crews to over look the equipment before it’s rented. I am very unsatisfied customer. I well never recommend U haul for any needs at all

The woman at the counter didnt speak English, and when she went to get someone who did she was rude to him even! I handed her my ID to scan, she scanned it thenTHREW it at me and smirked. Maybe she thought it was funny that i was annoyed at how long it was taking for her to figure out what she was doing. I also heard her then say something about a "stupid white girl" and pointed right at me. I know a tad of spanish, so i knew exactly what she was saying. When i returned, the gentleman that helped me was much more helpful and polite. Because of that woman, and how i saw her treating her co workers and customers, i will never return. Ive heard similar stories as well.

had difficulty starting the truck every time. Could not figure out what the secret was, but playing with the steering wheel and pressing down on the break pedal worked after several attempts every time we needed to start the truck. Most annoying.

I rented the Uhual 2 months before I was moving. I got a call the day before I was moving and they told me that my location that I reserved over a month ago did not have the truck I needed and told me I needed to drive an extra 40 minutes to pick up the truck. When I got to the other location, they told me they did not have the truck. After "some searching" they found the truck that I reserved. This was horrendous service and Uhaul did a terrible job servicing their customers. I most likely will not use Uhaul again and will hire movers or use Budget next time.

The guy at our pick up place was very uninformed about our reservation. It took me talking to customer service to get things right but even then, the reservation was wrong so our drop off location was not happy with us. We ordered for three days but system showed for two.

your salesperson barely spoke English so she was very difficult to understand. The truck needs new brakes as they squeaked the whole drive. I also had reserved the truck at a closer location to my house but I then was told that I had to pick it up at a different location. Overall not a good experience.

The trailer I rented had a leaking tire that needed air every 200 miles. I had a positive experience with the rental agent at the location however, I would not recommend the location due to the small parking lot to manage large trailers and trucks. Other than that thanks!

I made reservations in person I asked what time I get my truck and large refrigerator dolly. The young man told me at 7 am I asked are you sure. He told me yes sir I start at 7 am. Next morning I arrived at 7:00 am there was no one there and no one arrived until 7:55am then it was not the young man that told me at 7:00 and then the gentleman told me we don’t have the refrigerator dolly. I told him it was there yesterday when I reserved the truck. Well we don’t have it anymore so I think in my opinion this cost me more then the truck was worth since I had to pay 2 men to wait at storage unit until I arrived a hour late because the location personal were no where to be found at 7:00am

Upon my return, the individual was in a deep conversation with another person on a personal matter, thus delaying the conclusion of our business transaction. I waited 20 min to get customer service in your 800#. Then the info she gave me was misleading about the cost. This person did not seem like she knew what she was doing. The service at the local dealer was slow.
