When I tried to drop the car off at the designated location the web site wasn't working. It kept asking me to share my location but even after I followed the step by step directions it wouldn't work. I hope I don't get charged a fee for improper returning when I spent 45 minutes trying to get it to work.KRYSTALL L.

My rating is not a reflection of the service I received, but a reflection of the location. This Uhaul location parks its vehicles in an area that felt very unsafe to me. It was after dark when I returned my van (obviously not their fault) and I had to park this van on a poorly lit and isolated street. As a female Uhaul customer, I felt very scared for my safety.CAREYANN G.

First of all this location had no indication that I could get my uhaul here other than a key box and a banner on the gate. Not a truck in sight. When I checked in on the app the message was that the trucks are on the left side of the flower shop (which is right next door) in a parking lot. I went up and down the neighboring block and saw 0 trucks. Someone who must have lived in the area asked me if I was looking for a uhual. When I said yes they directed me to blocks down and to the left to an empty side street that had like 5 uhual trucks parked there. This meant I had to go 2 blocks away, fins my truck, walk to blocks back to get the key, then walk back to the truck again after the message was that the truck was right around the corner. If that wasn't unprofessional enough, upon returning the truck I left it in the exact same spot where I found it and went to drop off the key but uhual required photos which meant I had to take multiple trips to and from the truck and key box because the GPS wouldn't recognize me in front of the key box whenever I pressed continue since I had to walk 2 blocks away each time to the truck. This was a horrible experience from the location and ill be sure to send people elsewhere. The key box was attached to a huge empty lot with maybe 2 cars in the back maybe they should have some common sense and put the trucks there or at the very least let people know what they are in for and not have a false location of the truck online.Michael D.

Their is not a business there at the location. No signs, nothing. It was like gps was playing a joke. It wasn't clear who to call or how to even find the truck or get the keys. By absolute chance a uhaul employee happened to be there messing with the key box. Had he not been a really nice and helpful guy I would have just given up and left without a truck. The truck had a broken driver side mirror. How illegal do you think that is? How dangerous for me? How do you think that would go over in court if their was an accident. Give me my money back. Uhaul is terrible. Truly an awful experience. You should be ashamed of how bad that was. Is.Ryan S.
uhaul was fine, the truck itself and miranda from uhaul customer service was great. but the pick up location mateo express was horrible and their customer service was the worst ever. They used foul language in broken english and in spanish. i arrived 15 minutes early and they had no clue where the truck i rented was. i walked around the neighborhood an entire waste of time hour and mateo express though it was funny and so rude and unproffessional over the phone. they have one location on the app which is a empty lot with a sign that says mateo express and when you call them , they tell you walk around the neighborhood and look for the vehicle and " so what if your wasting your time searching, thats life", along with the bilingual super foul language. i wasted a whole hour the morning of the move along with being insulted over the phone when trying to get assistance from mateo express which is supposed to have the location of the uhaul trucksFRANCISCO R.
Couldn't find the truck for two hours. Put me two hours behind schedule then you guys tried to charge me for the time I couldn't find the truck bc you didn't have a physical store location. Ended up being half mile down the road, mind you I'm in NYC in the Warehouse areas/train track areas where there is an abundance of cars. One other group that was there before us gave up out of frustration. You've not only wasted my money but my time and made my move in way more stressful than it needed to becharles ryan E.

Since the rental van was not a the site indicated (the lot was closed) they should let the customer know where is the van located. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to locate the van (3 phone calls).rafael torres D.

this was ridiculous, i booked 4 weeks in advance and the owner of this "lot" didn't bother to put the keys in the lockbox for my 8:30am pick up. He said he didn't see any uhaul bookings an that's why he didn't leave the keys for pick up. i stood in the cold and rain waiting over an hour talking to multiple U haul contacts who then contacted the space owner who came with the keys then. he did not have the correct trolleys for me either. i missed my move in window with the freight elevator in my building and had to empty my belongings back into a storage unit after taking it out that morning, to have to organize a move in again next week. this is highly unacceptable. im still waiting for a call back from uhaul to discuss my complaintmark K.
