When I got there I was assigned a trailer but it wasn't there. No big deal they got me another one. The trailer I ended up with still had trash inside, messed up fender and had a short in the wiring that was causing fuses to blow on my truck. I found that the left rear brake light one of the wires had a cut and was grounding out. Had to fix that issue on the side of the highway so I could have trailer lights. I returned the trailer the same night after they closed. Next day I called a few times to let them know it was returned and no one would answer the phone.

Thomas BFairly difficult to communicate with UHaul service representative/convenience store clerk. Vaping in side store and in front of me. UHaul service disrupted by lone clerk trying to process my rental while handling the morning flow of store customers. I felt like I was being pushed out rather than making sure trailer and customer were both prepared for a safe travel.
Charles SI cleaned out the truck and filled it up there, turned In the key on Monday the 30th of October. They acted like I was bothering them and never gave me a receipt or let me know it was OK. Then on Thursday the 2nd of November I received an email that I was billed for an extra day of use. They are very unprofessional and I feel like I'm trying to be ripped off.

Charlotte SI was way overcharged for my short trip. I literally had a 10 foot truck for about 2 hours or so and Traveled about 55 miles. I was charged for over 72 miles. The whole experience has been poor though. I will NOT use U-HAUL anytime in the foreseeable future.

Gregg MWhen I arrived to pick this truck up, I was initially told that the truck wasnt available, then after the attendant was informed that the keys to the truck were stored under the drivers seat, I was able to pick the truck up. The interior was dirty and had trash in it, the floors were covered in a sticky wet substance like a drink had been spilled, and the process to discover this took nearly 40 minutes. I will never pick up from this location again.

Sarah PBe honest and upfront with cost. Also don't tell me it's ok to pick up the uhaul an hour early and charge for an entire day like I cost you extra money. Don't assume I want insurance, and If it's required, you not only should say it, it's unacceptable you didn't. Pure 100 % theft the back hadn't been swept, had debris in it still and no blankets. Also only had a half tank of fuel when I picked it up so I left it the way I found it. Hope you didn't steal that charge too. I'd carry my belongings by hand for miles before handing you anything else. Was told $80. Local move. $307 charge

Clinton SWas promised $62,95 rental online and also via a phone call from a uhaul representative. Drove over an hour to get to this location, and when I got there they charged me over $180 with no explanation or warning!

Karen PNot the locations fault at all. But uhaul made me drive 20+ miles to pick up the truck. On the phone they assured me they would have all the equipment that I reserved. When I arrived they said they had no furniture dolly utility dolly's or furniture pads. She eventually found a utility dolly. This was a uhaul fault and not the location but needs to be brought to attention.

Ronald SBoth times I rented from this location they never answered their phone, the system was down and they "COULD NOT HELP ME". I called customer service myself as they shrugged their shoulders. I was suppose to recieve a 60 dollar refund for next day extension that was canceled early with truck return. Instead I received a 27 refund for mileage not used. They informed me I would not receive it from then even though customer service said they should release all money due after return of vehicle. I will be call8ng the better business bureau if i do not receive it. On both companies. They shrugged their shoulders again on the next rental date and I had to send picks of my drivers license to some guys cell phone in order to meet my movers in tike. If I do not receive my refund and mileage due I will be sure everyone knows not to rent from this company and location. The last location was a rip off (tiger rents) too. I WAS HAPPY TO KNOW HANDS HAD CHANGED. Very upset about ALL OF these nightmare experiences!!
Angela RThe truck was on empty when we picked it up. We put $30 of gas in it and decided to tell them in the Uhaul store that it was empty and they said to fill it up. So we did. We spent $109,02 on gas for the truck and only drove it 62 miles. I have called the store twice and left a message to get a refund, but no one has called me back. We spoke to the woman who rented us the Uhaul in person but she said we had to talk to the store owner and to call back after 3. We did that and have left 2 messages with no call back.
Jerry MNot have the customer do the attendants job for them. Took way to long to get my truck had a 6am pickup almost 645 before I got the truck after talking to uhaul myself to walk through the process
Ryan TThis location is the incorrect location for drop off. ONaysha from customer service chose this location after me telling her multiple times where I wanted to drop the truck off to. I was charge 400 dollars for dropping off the truck at the location that I specifically told her I was going to and even have text message records stating where my drop off location was.
Kristin MThe rental clearly stated 19,95 i was charged that twice and a cleaning fee I filled the truck up when returned it. I only had the truck for 4 hours and was charged $95 . I do not like being scammed if that's the price $95 dollars I'm good with that I can make my decision and know it what is expected. but then you advertised 19,95 for a rental and it comes back 95 I feel like I have been taken advantage of. James SI told u haul I would be at store at 6:30 to pick up car trailer and I paid in advance with credit card and when I got to the store employee told me she had no records,I showed my text message to her to show proof of my rental and I had to go through a bunch of stuff until 8am before I got the trailer and after I returned the trailer back to store I kept getting phone calls from U haul for 4 days saying I didn't return trailer, stressed me out to to limit

Mark MFrist, These people can not speak English or enough to understand the customer. 2nd I came in 3 hours before pickup time to make sure they had everything and that the truck would be ready. They guaranteed me that everything was ready. When I get there to check in, they had me do all my paperwork on my phone, when I finished he goes to get my packing blankets and he was out. So the trip there before was just a lie that everything was ready. When I asked why he told me that he had everything, he would just look at me and say "Me, can't help Sorry ". I asked for my copies of the contract he would only say "done ,no need for paperwork, will email". I asked him to come out, do a walk around and document the damage on the truck and he would not do that with me. When I asked him about why the check engine light was on, he said "only needs oil changed". This guy would not get off his phone to help me or to try to even make things right by finding me blankets at a other location. I had to stop by harbor fright to buy moving blankets. I have rented many times in my life from Uhaul and This is far the worst experience that I have ever had, I am so surprised that Uhaul would let such a place be a rental location. If you need photos I have plenty

DONNAMARIE PI got over charged. I rented a trailer for 24 hours. Returned it early. Got charged for 3 days. I went to store at doe run road in rocky mount Virginia, and the lady was very rude and had zero interest in resolving my overcharge. I did manage to get a contact number and the lady i spoke to on the phone seemed helpful. I am sill waiting to see the results whether they are gonna return the $108 that i was overcharged back into my bank account. I have rented numerous uhauls over the years, this is the first time I've had a problem. It will be the last time I use uhaul if my overcharge is not returned.
Kevin BNeed to make sure all lights are in working order. Let driver know that if hook up blows a fuse ( any of the lights), all they have to do is put next higher gauge fuse in.

I received no help taking trailer off vehicle when bringing it back. I will not rent from this location again. Never had this kind of trouble with uhaul anywhere.

SUSAN SYes, the trailer I needed was there, but I had to drive 120 miles round trip to pick up the trailer --- and then, hook it up myself, without assistance! All of this because the Christiansburg U-Haul facility is closed on Sunday. If I had only known! Despite reserving the trailer months in advance without any indication that it would be impossible for me to pick up a trailer on Sunday, I was not informed about the complicaiton until the evening before the sheduled pickup. This is a systemic problem in U-Haul management and not really the fault of One Stop Shop #2. The lession to be learned? Call the facility way ahead of time to make sure that someone will be at the location that you are expecting to pick up the trailer. Otherwise, you may spend most of your moving day getting the trailer and making an extra stop at the gas station.
Douglas BPoor customer service. Extremely dirty and we did not know it but the cables for the back lift door were broken. Very heavy to get up and down. Turned it in a day ago and still have t received my end invoice I'd be happy to discuss the rental with someone e Pat

Jada WThis was not our requested p/u location. Uhaul moved us to this location the day before p/u. Reservation was made well in advance(3/8) and feel Uhaul should have been able to accommodate our initial p/u location. NOT THIS LOCATION'S ISSUE! Service here was good, easy!
Melissa DI would have like to have had some sort of confirmation of my truck rental return from the attendant at this location. I received a receipt after I called on Monday morning.
Rhonda MInterior of truck was dirty..food, popcorn, and sticky liquids in the cup holders. Windshields needed cleaning badly. I took care of cleaning the windows and interior prior to starting our trip. Interior of truck/bed was dirty and had some trash on floor. Transmission light came on as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot and stayed on the entire trip.
