I requested to pick up at a store with staff that could check me in because I was on a time crunch. Instead I was routed to an unattended shop and instructed to use your app. It took me 45 minutes and a call to your 800 number because I have a broken camera on my phone. When I finally got in the car, there were cigarettes and rolling papers in the cupholders and the cab obviously smelled of smoke. Dropping off I had to take another 10 required pictures at 10:30 at night in a darkened parking lot so I wouldn't be on the hook for another $20. I've used U-Haul before without incident, but I will seriously reconsider that in the future.

abraham porgesszThe cargo area of the vehicle was not swept out. I ordered half-dozen pads, with the reservation. No furniture pads were provided. It took 40 minutes to get the code for the lockbox. THE MOBILE APP DID NOT WORK, WHEN I WAS PICKING UP AND RETURNING THE VEHICLE. We had to contact customer service a few times that day. Employees, from Orange Towing, even stated they have trouble with the mobile app. U-Haul attempted to charge me for three days of rental, when I only had the vehicle for a few hours. This is because the mobile app did not work and is not user friendly.

Brian thomasMy rental location was changed to a much farther place where there was no one to help. Poor internet made it difficult to process electronic pick up. I had to make several phone calls before I could connect with a Rep. He was excellent, but the system had a "glitch" and it took over an hour before I could finally get access to the code in order to get the keys. The truck was dirty and the side view mirrors were almost impossible to adjust. I am now being charged for extra mileage because the location was much farther. I should not be charged extra since my original booking was much closer. The delay caused me issues because some of my helpers had to leave due to the lateness from the farther distance and then the delay in obtaining the keys.

Alexander GestyClosed when we arrived at reserved pick up time. Knowing our pick up date and time, we were not set up for after hours pick up apparently. Would have made things a lot simpler instead of wasting two hours of our day making phone calls and trying to get help. After a few phone calls we finally reached someone very helpful at the main U-Haul number. Once we finally got our truck we opened the back and noticed the extras we paid for were not left in the truck. This made our move extremely challenging and frustrating! I'd never rent from this place in the future.
Matt MillerPlease always make sure to walk around the truck even they say all is fine . because they will charge you for dammage you didn't do Especially windshield damage's etc and if the truck sells for smoke refuse the rental because they will charge you for cleaning it
david schreiberIt wasn't the location's fault. Your app and website are extremely stubborn and not user-friendly, even for the tech savvy of us. Took me an hour to pick up the darn truck and I can to call U-Haul to do it.

David schreiberThe main issue was the long wait time on the phone standing outside in the bitter cold weather. Took about an hour and a half to get into my rental, I was lucky that someone left their returned truck unlocked which helped a bit. A long exposure to below freezing and windy temp can cause skin burns and even a heart attack. Regular U.H custimer servise respond quickly, but it takes very long time to get a person on 24/7 truck share. Should have an automated way to reactivate a reservation if you are late (I walked on foot from one U.H to this one since the equiptment I needed wasn't available so ofcourse I was late)

Bienvinido EstanislaoI was verbally abused by the agent on the phone from this location and threatened that my account would be marked as delinquent. I had called U-Haul to extend the rental and the system was down at that time so the agent added a note as to when I was returning the van. To this agent that was akin to telling them I was never returning it and didnt give me the right to keep it until I had said.

I still couldn't get the van because they couldn't reach the contacts i provided, this is after taking a pic of my face and driver license front and back... this was insane (as if reaching my contacts is any way of securing my identity) it felt like I'm signing up to work for the secret service or FBI... never again!! What a waste of time.
Jeshua WeinstockLocation pickup was fine. I highly recommend against using the U-Haul app. I sat at this location for 3 hours waiting for U-Haul to send me an email with key lock box code. It NEVER came and U-Haul location owners had to come from home to help me because U-Haul Rep was extremely unprofessional, rude, and completely unhelpful!

charles capozzoliThe truck was so dirty that we had to clean it before using it!! Who has time for that when you are in the middle of moving!! They changed location to pick up the truck. We had to spend extra money for gas and toll charges to get it.

zosimo floresAlthough it was clean the mats had dry dirt on them, I used my blankets to cover the dirt. The windshield was covered with the for rent sign. I stored it in the back of the van. The mobile phone check out was fantastic. Will rent again.
