I rent an appliance dolly, furniture dolly and 24 blankets on my reservation. They only had one of the two dollies and they wouldn't let me take it. They also only had 6 of the 24 blankets for us. I ended up having to call uhaul to find the two dollies for our one way move 1227 miles away. Uhaul should make sure that every reservation that is in the system has everything that the customer needs for their move. It was very stressful having to call and pickup what we needed at another location.

GALA BThis site had the trailer size I needed but is not well manned. Closed at times for unknown reasons. While loading it 1 of the 4 tires went flat. I took it back to the site to get a wheel hangout. I was to told to take it to a tire shop for repair, costing me needless time, aggrevation and $15 to plug a nail hole. I would like that cost reimbursed. The towing experience itself was fine. I would recommend this location only because of having the equipment I needed and proximity to me at the time.

ALEKSANDR SCostumer service was great but I was upset that my reservation was switched to this location without much notification. The reservation system does a poor job of communicating with customers. I selected the Cypress Creek location because it is where my storage unit is. I should not let me select that location if they don't have one way trailers for rent.
ALLEN MOverall disappointing experience - I was supposed to pickup at a different location. I received a call a few days before my rental about the new location. When I arrived the day of the rental to pickup the unit, I was given a vehicle without gas requiring me to stop right after departing the location. Additionally, the equipment I had ordered wasn't available at this location, so I was without dolleys/furniture dolleys/blankets that I had planned on receiving for several weeks. We had to scramble and find dolleys outside of Uhaul, and go to 3 different Uhaul locations for blankets. Apparently 4 weeks notice on the reservation is not enough.

Azhar PIt would be nice to have the correct key in the lock box, and for the representative on the phone call to keep their word. I was told that I would not be charged for having keys to a different truck left in the lock box with the code I was given, but instead, the representative had me walk across the field, back to the small house that had the lock box, and then tasked me with a job that is not my responsibility. I had to open lockbox one to retrieve my correct key only to find two keys in that lockbox. And then when I found my correct key, I had to put one key in an orange dropbox, and then put another key in box one, and then scramble the numbers, and then take my key and complete the inspection on the correct truck. I was told to initially just use the truck that the first key opened, but then was later told that I would have to use my truck, since I ultimately did retrieve my key. This is so ridiculous. It was really cold outside and I stayed out there a lot longer than I had to. The app kept malfunctioning, and only one photo uploaded, which forced me to redo the entire thing again. I asked for my $50 guarantee, and I was told that an email would be sent and that it is up to the field manager. This is the second time that I was sent to a field manager, and just for your information the first field manager did absolutely nothing. I understand that the rate is great, but this experience was horrific. I got one phone call with a manager who was extremely kind and said that they would go above and beyond to help me, and then called me back and made sure to let me know that I was good to go. Then maybe 10 minutes later I get another phone call saying that, I wasn't going to get my truck because they were closed and they don't have a 15 footer truck available. It was very conflicting and very confusing and very much irritating. I don't know if I will ever get my $50 guarantee as promised, but I do know I will not be back to Uhaul if this does not get resolved. And I will not recommend Uhaul.
Naomi SLocation never answered the day before we return the equipment. There is no person available in the location which they advertised to be open form 7am to 5pm. We waited for an hour, called uhaul customer service which also is not able to help. We ended up doing an afterhour return on this location and got charged extra for returning the equipment late which is not true since there is no person available since we got there.

Lilia RThe person working at the location where I FINALLY got the equipment I ordered was fine enough, but the trailer was lacking. The frame was fine, but one of the tires was grossly out of balance and 'shuttered' the entire trip. Honestly, I'm surprised it made the trip without failing.
