Pick up location agent was not familiar with the 15 ft truck and gave improper information on passenger seating. They could not even answer question on whether it was an E450 chassis to allow me to look up seating arrangement. Equipment was poorly maintained i.e. engine misfire, very poor gas mileage below Ford spec, driver door did not close properly which presented safety hazard. Pick up Out miles was entered inaccurately ! Truck was low on fuel and had to be filled by myself at local gas station. Truck poor conditions were not discoverable until after driving it awhile!!!

It only took 5 minutes to check in the truck. Again I couldn't use the phone app. when I sent the picture of the speedometer and fuel gauge the link disappeared and I couldn't it back. At least they answer the phone at your call center emergency number.

Inefficient, rented me a damaged truck that had no record of damage. Took forever to check out, no one knew what they were doing there. When I called them to notify them of damage I found they said they would report it and they never did.

I had it booked for 8:30am and this place does not open till 9:30 so I had to pick it up a day early.

Had to wait for the U-Hall sales lady to get back for a coffee run, and she wasn't there again on return. She didn't walk me thru inspection of the truck as normal, I found a ding in the bumper she photoed but didn't note on contract. There was the X' sticker on it in already being noted. She didn't note that sticker. I was at U-Hall to move a bed and Menards was all rented out for their trucks. What will have been a $19.95 rental from Menards, turned into $80 + dollars for a U-Hall rental for a 10' truck listed for the same price in rental on the side of the truck. There was local taxes etc.. explained but not a reason really presented on the bill or in words for how it was this much more expensive. A lot more expensive than advertised on the side of the truck..

do a walk around with the costumer complete the Oder like drop off location and date accept cash like said over the phone she seemed confused from the start the other employees did not want to help

Uhaul has numerous errors with Google map locations being incorrect. By the time I found this location (Superior Car Credit 1302 E Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, IL 60115 ) I was frustrated from driving for 2 hours. Then threatened by the clerk at this location to stop yelling (which I wasn't) or he would throw my "f"in ass out of his store, All while screaming this at me, slamming his phone, down pointing to the door and beginning to come around the counter. That would have been a big mistake for him. I defused what I could by stepping outside to make other arrangements (to find yet another location which I did) but when I came back in to retrieve my paperwork he barked at me again saying drop it right there! I did... but what this clerk don't know is I am a Marine Corps veteran with PTSD and brain injury service connected and his behavior towards me was very much of a bullying nature and that was triggering a response that only other Marines and the enemy know. I took the high road (for me) and filed a complaint then a police report. He's the luckiest man I've met to date. The Lord blessed us both that day in different ways. I do not believe he's a UHAUL employee, UHAUL has expressed their regret for my experience at that location. I will continue to use their equipment but never again deal with Superior Car Credit again.
